Perfect location for the Arena, we saw Peter Kay and it was literally a few minutes walk and we were there. Also the Christmas markets were just across the road too! Parking close by was convenient too! Great stay 😀

Lovely hotel situated in the heart of Manchester, great for transport links and the National Football Museum on the doorstep. The only criticism would be that it states on site parking. There is NO onsite parking, their recommended parking is 7 minutes away and costs £22.50 for 24 hours

We stayed just one for an event at the AO Arena which is minutes away. We had an accessible room as I use a wheelchair. Firstly you have to use the bar entrance at use the lift to go up to reach the reception to check in. And here lays the only bug bear of my stay. Because some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to put tables and chairs in front of the lift making manoeuvring myself into the lift not easy and embarrassing when hitting stools and walls with everyone watching you and the whole table getting up so you can get passed. But like I said it was the one spoiler as the room was lovely bed very comfortable. Stuff were warm and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were attending the AO Arena again.

Lovely hotel, perfect for the main town centre, national football museum next door, arndale centre and a 3 min walk to the AO arena at the end of the road. Manchester Victoria station is also 2 mins away. Car park not on site but can park at the Printworks which is a 10 min walk and use a code for a discount . Hotel was very smart and clean, would definitely use again

In general the hotel is nice. Lifts are quick, if a little confusing, because of the need to validate each upward journey. Breakfast was good as was the view. The air-con was insufficient to maintain a nice temperature with a winter duvet so I slept on top of the duvet so as to not overheat. My main complaint is that I booked a twin and got a double handicapped suite! The suite was nice but having to sleep with my adult son did not make me or him happy. For that reason sleep was intermittent, however, the bed itself was comfortable. Other issue was that the recommended parking (Printworks) is about a block away and is not dead cheap. If it's raining then getting your luggage to and from your car will be a issue. We were lucky.

Friendly staff, secure, plenty of space to work in lobby area. Quiet. Negative: offered a 20% meal voucher upon arrival which was no longer being honoured by hotel. Next to train station , nice rooms , 2 mins walk to all the bars and shops . Only bad thing about this hotel is that it offers 24 hour room service , shows you a menu but can’t offer you anything as they say kitchen is closed . So after getting back late from a concert we couldn’t order anything to eat to our room . For the amount of money it is to stop the night and offering you 24 hour room service but not actually be able to order anything was really disappointing . Will try a different hotel next time 👎

The Indigo is lovely. Right next to Victoria station if you're coming in by train or tram (and if driving go for the Miller St car park £10 for 24 hours). Arrived early to drop our bags off but had a free early check in and a room upgrade and the guy on reception was really good (didn't get his name). Room was fantastic and looked out on the city centre. Clean, loads of space and everything you want including bottles of water and a fridge. Didn't eat here but went for a drink in the bar which was really nice. Will definitely go back!

We were told to come back at 3 but no details were taken When we returned at 3 there was a large queue of people. None of their details had been taken so check in took ages Room was large and comfortable. Had to move rooms as bathroom smelled of drains, with smell coming into bedroom. Good staff moved us to another room which was fine. (Some mould around base of shower, bathroom mirror looking shabby from steam damage). Credit to the really good female member of staff who helped move us to the new room. Bed was comfy and room quiet enough. Breakfast was awful. Very limited buffet. Both plates of cooked breakfast took over 25 minutes to arrive and inexplicably were cold. Cold eggs, sausage, bacon Luke warm at best. My wife’s poached eggs were also not hot. How can it take 25 minutes to serve cooked ld “hot breakfasts”. Very disappointing. So a very mixed stay!

Overall, I was happy with my stay. The hotel has a great location, close to everything, and the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The only real downside was the shower, which had some mold. That was quite unpleasant, and I didn’t want to stay for long in there, this should be taken care of.

Perfect location,a very short walk to Arndale shopping centre. Hotel was very clean,room very spacious,spacious bathroom, no noises and the most comfortable bed . Room cleaned every day . Very friendly staff. I would stay again and i would certainly recommend Hotel Indigo.

Greeted by cheerful receptionists. My bedroom was really clean and had a new feel to it. We were on 11th floor and hardly noticed any nice even though the Victoria train station was just next to us. Bathroom nice and clean and modern. The kingsize bed was super comfortable. Breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive and the full English breakfast was delicious. I liked the bacon-crispy and tasty and not too salty. The sourdough bread was so soft and tasty as well. Overall, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and would fully recommend it.

Came here as a treat for my wife's 40th Birthday. Everything was near perfect until we noticed the TV wasnt working, we let reception know and they gave us vouchers for 2 drinks which was a little lame. What ruined it all however was the noise from the Trams!! Wow. The screeching of the brakes and the rubble carries on until just after midnight, it then starts again at 6am!!! The sound proofing is shockingly bad. The rooms however are nicely done and the staff ate friendly.

This is a nice hotel. Its brilliantly situated about 150yds from the Next shop in the Arndale. Trams and Deansgate right by the hotel. The hotel is very nice but there are a few issues. Breakfast was very nice. In room TV not too good. No ITV. These days of freeview its beyond me why the TV was not tuned in to all the freeview channels. We had BBC1 and really that was it. When we went out hor the day we returned to the room and thought that no housekeeping had visited the room. My wife put the bed sheets sort of neatish but not made and thats how they were everytime we returned each day. Bin in room only emptied once. Tea making and biscuits not fully replenished each day. Housekeeping had been in the room as we had clean towels every day. One gripe with me which may not be right for me to say so but here goes was that 12 months ago we had booked the hotel for 3 nights and had to cancel late and lost all of our money. I mentioned this when we checked in thinking we may get an upgrade but no, some stoney faced receptionist just booked us in not even giving any response to me mentioning this so i felt a little unhappy. All in all my wife and i did enjoy our stay and will probably book again next time we visit Manchester and i hope the issues mentioned will be resolved.

Superbly located for the arena. Great front desk service. Gorgeous room - unusually spacious. Very clean, large and comfortable bed. Nice and quiet despite location close to Victoria train station (literally over the road). Plenty of eateries within a two minute walk (Wagamamma etc at the Printworks). We will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the indigo in York and they were amazing! When we stayed in the manchester one it didn't seem as good. I asked for the air con to ve switched because it was blowing on my face at night and for some reason it wasn't turned off so i had 2 nights of waking up cold. The guy at the reception asked how our stay was and I replied it would have been better if they has turned off the air con he replied they couldn't turn it off and advised we could have moved to another room but we weren't told this so i am a bit disappointed with the Manchester indigo hotel.

Hotel is in a good location with a reduced price car park nearby Arrived about 1-30 but room wasn’t ready ( check in is at 3 which we knew). We were told to come back at 3 but no details were taken When we returned at 3 there was a large queue of people. The hotel looks great and is in perfect spot in Manchester. I stayed in the suite and my customers in the next level rooms. Staff was polite but things just didn't work. I missed my 1st breakfast when I just did not get it before I needed to leave (asked about it 3 times). Also the breakfast was not what I have used to enjoy on 4 star hotels. Just not good enough. My suite had former customers hairpin with his/her hair on it hanging in the bathroom. I asked about it to be cleaned. Instead of cleaning, I got a person to come to my room and asked to email the picture. I did. Nothing happened. And nothing happened the next time I asked about it. And no-one answered to my emails. The room was cleaned two times in between but the hairpin stood still. My customers rooms had problems with poorly fixed floor tiles in the bathroom. Both of the rooms had the same problem: the floor tiles moved when you stepped on them. Also there was problem with lights. They were too shy to mention about the problems, but well... It didn't help even after mentioning. Until to this day (two weeks after the trip), no-one has answered to any of my emails. I have to say that for four star hotel the service and how they handle reclamations are super poor. Location: perfect. Atmosphere: good. Breakfast: not good enough. Service: very poor (very good bartender made a happy exception)

Best check in In years ! The young lady who was on the evening shift (she has i troduced herself but i'm not clever enough to remember names ) made me feel so very welcome 😀 it is rare to get greeted in such a friendly but professional manner! Perfect location for the Arena, we saw Peter Kay and it was literally a few minutes walk and we were there. Also the Christmas markets were just across the road too! Parking close by was convenient too! Great stay 😀

Lovely hotel, perfect for the main town centre, national football museum next door, arndale centre and a 3 min walk to the AO arena at the end of the road. Manchester Victoria station is also 2 mins away. Car park not on site but can park at the Printworks which is a 10 min walk and use a code for a discount . Hotel was very smart and clean, would definitely use again

This is a perfect place to stay in Manchester. It's located right in the heart of the city next to Victoria Station. The room was very clean and the bed super comfy. No need to bring your own hairdryer or iron as they are supplied in the room. The decor is modern with a little twist towards mancunian heritage. No matter what your reason is for visiting Manchester is you won't go wrong choosing this hotel.

Great hotel only let down by really slow breakfast service on the Saturday; Sunday was no problem. Saturday saw a wait of over 75 minutes to be served our main orders. I travel extensively across UK and rest of world and have never had such a delay for a breakfast.

Stayed at Hotel Indigo before this trip, so knew the rooms, staff and cleanliness would not been an issue. We stayed in a superior king room which was lovely and modern and had all facilities, fridge, safe, wardrobe space, toiletries, lovely walk-in shower etc. Only disappointment was breakfast……Now all buffet style; last time we stayed you helped yourself to coffee, toast, cereal etc, but main breakfast was ordered and made to order from a nice choice of menu. All buffet food was precooked in dishes but was greasy, cold and not much left! You could order eggs to order but by the time your eggs were cooked the rest of the breakfast was even colder! Defo recommend the hotel but maybe get breakfast elsewhere for the additional cost!

Next to train station , nice rooms , 2 mins walk to all the bars and shops . Only bad thing about this hotel is that it offers 24 hour room service , shows you a menu but can’t offer you anything as they say kitchen is closed . So after getting back late from a concert we couldn’t order anything to eat to our room . For the amount of money it is to stop the night and offering you 24 hour room service but not actually be able to order anything was really disappointing . Will try a different hotel next time 👎

Modern feel and great decor and comfortable room. Shame about the tram noise late night and early morning but that’s why its location is so central.
