Candlewood Suites - Nashville - Franklin by IHG

The stay was pleasant. Room was clean and mostly comfortable. The lobby had a pool table and I think it was a shuffle board table. My kids enjoyed that and the heated indoor pool. I would definitely stay again and I would recommend to others. Staff was nice and accommodating.

The only difficulty was getting into the parking lot when traveling east on Murfreesboro Road (I came from the Natchez Trace).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a great fenced grassy area for pets. The bed was very comfortable.

Nice hotel for a quick little weekend trip to the Nashville area. Very clean and friendly staff. Had everything I needed. Only complaint is the parking. There aren’t a ton of parking spots in the lot, and the location of the hotel is very awkward and inconvenient. You can only access the parking lot from one point, and the amount of traffic always in the area makes turning into the hotel sort of difficult, but makes leaving nearly impossible.

Awesome room and there are games in the lobby to rent. The parking lot is hard to find if you miss it but otherwise great stay!

The room was very clean, the pillows were my favorite thing. They were firm and I never had firm before. Wow - I slept like a rock. The coffee was so good and my husband up at 5 AM had the gym to himself. Staff very nice.

Venue is intended more for extended stay than overnight. Cheap construction evidenced by clearly hearing voices from adjacent rooms and thumping of feet on floor of rooms above. However, this is characteristic of most chain motels. Surrounding area has little appeal. Traffic sounds, especially by cars with modified mufflers, can be clearly heard in rooms,but not the fault of the management. Full size refrigerator in rooms are very noisy but also consistent with having everything in the same room. Dogs permitted at $35 per night in early 2025. Well maintained and clean.

We had an amazing experience! From the time we checked in until we left. Ina at the counter was so sweet and helpful. Our initial room was less than desirable due to the last guest and she came up right away with our new room keys. Our new room was amazing! We will definitely be booking with Candlewood Suites again! The only negative was there wasn't enough parking.

Let me start with the good. A lady named “Selena” (I think), up front was SO kind and welcoming and helpful. She made us happy to be there. The pool table in the lobby was a big plus and we had fun playing a few rounds. If the weather had been nicer I think we really would have enjoyed sitting outside at the fire pit. Nonetheless it was nice to have the option. Ok now for the bad. Our room was directed adjacent to the pool room, so no matter what we did, our room had a moldy chlorine smell. I took the air freshener from my car and put it on the air unit in the room but it didn’t help for long. Also, there was hair in the bathroom sink and a big glob of something sticky with hair on it, and some of the towels appeared to have stuff on them.

The room was dirty and multiple parts of the room were broken and seemed to have no repair. The room smelled and the air conditioning in the bedroom did not work. If our arrival at the hotel wasn’t so late we would have requested a refund and went to another hotel. When I went to check out of the hotel, I notified the manager and all he did was apologize for absolutely sub par conditions. Also, I elected to pay at the property and this hotel came out to 237 dollars and that is completely over charged for a terrible experience. I will not stay at another Candlewood Suites now or ever. THIS HOTEL WAS TERRIBLE!!!

It was good except we saw a roach on the counter. The staff member that was working that night was amazing! She was concerned of our arrival due to the storms going through.

Not enough parking spots. Found cockroaches in my room. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Liked having pool table and shuffle board.

The entire location was dirty hallways elevator are comforter was not washed. Bathroom was filthy and found several fleas in the room would not recommend staying here.

Overall the stay was very good, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was that the bathroom was not cleaned extremely well. The sink still had some leftover toothpaste and some hairs in the sink. Otherwise, everything else was clean and the room and bed was really nice.

The property was updated and very clean. The layout of the suite was not ideal, however, as both the bathroom and the closet were located right by the front door and not in the bedroom. The only drawer in the kitchen was way down by the floor, requiring one to bend way over just to get a spoon. Overall not convenient.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was huge. Bed comfortable. Lots of water pressure in shower. Well stocked kitchenette. Easy access to I65. Resturants within walking distance. Pet friendly.

Our stay at Candlewood Suites Nashville-Franklin was a complete delight; the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, the room was amazingly clean, comfortable and quiet, and convenient to get to from I-65. We have definitely found our go-to hotel for future visits!

The hotel room was nice. It was clean. The pool was nice. But being so close to the highway, we heard truck brakes all night long. It kept waking us up.

We had the loudest people above our room! Bouncing basketballs thumping around like elephants, call the desk numerous and they said they would take care of it and nothing happened! Noisy all night and early into the morning 2am !!!! We got woken up numerous time so ANNOYING! We asked to move rooms and they never accommodated Us! Left at 5am this morning to drive home exhausted from a terrible night sleep! I really feel like I should be refund a portion of my stay! Just horrible!!!

Tv didn’t work, some electrical issues, confusion with billing

Loud guests. The person next to our room had their tv on all night at a very loud volume. Fridge was very loud. Not enough towels in bathroom

It was super nice. The staff was great, elevator were nice. The bed wasn't to horrible. The shower you could tell had been redone and had some gaps but it still worked great. We had two rooms. One shower was worse than the other.

This place is terrible. And to be honest, this will be the last time I book through Hotels.com. And here’s why: the reviews are deceiving. You will read about who this property being exceptional. It is not. We arrived for a two-night stay to visit family. The lady running the front desk at the time (red hair) was warm as an ice cube. She checked us into a first-floor room. We asked for a high floor, and she didn’t want to help. We went to the room and the smell was unbearable. It had a chemical smell, maybe even musty. But it was bad. I still smell it in my clothing. We suck it up and stay in the room after the front desk lady didn’t want to help—primarily because we booked through Hotels.com. Ironic. The next night we changed rooms. The new one smells bad, too. This place is a dump. And overall, the hotel was dirty. And I think it’s because of the clientele it attracts. Here’s an example: I found two very drunk men playing pool downstairs in the lobby in the early-morning hours (around 2a). They were playing music loudly, they had empty beer cans and their snacks all over the floor. Such a classy look. This scene sums up the overall experience this hotel provides. They have clearly given up. Stay away from this place, if you have standards. And for $133 per night, I feel like the clown for booking this room and using Hotels.com.

Checked in, went to our room and it was entirely untouched from the previous guest. Called front desk wouldn’t get us another. They Sent someone up and although she did a good job. There were 2-3 other cleaning staff that walked by or checked in and didn’t help. Took 30-40 minutes to get all finished up after check in all while me the wife and 3 kids stood in the hallway with luggage and Made us late to our event.

Great property right in the middle of everything!

The hotel is great really, with a few small concerns. One, you cannot make a left turn into the property or out of the property because there is way too much traffic. I have never seen anything like it. Two, the bathroom and room weren’t super clean, and the bathroom was put together poorly. Handles, faucets, fixtures were all pretty loose and the shower had about half pressure. All that said, I would definitely stay there again if the price was a little lower for the driving hassle.

This hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants, gyms and not far from downtown nashville.

I wish I would have realized it didn't have breakfast before I booked. I honestly didn't know there were any hotels out there that didn't at least have a small breakfast, this was just coffee only and everything else was to buy. But otherwise a good room to sleep in

No food to speak of. Pop juice coffee packaged convenience food. Not even breakfast. Not much around in the area. Room had a funny smell. Fairly modern but basic. Was okay.

Staff was great, the facilities had everything you needed including games and food. They upgraded us to a king room without asking.

Central to restaurants. Convenient to groceries. Small kitchen area handy and clean. Plenty of linens stocked. Coffee available in lobby but would enjoy more coffee in room.
