Lots of inconsistencies around the waterslide times. Second stay this has happened within a year.

One of the slides didn’t work so only one open and the pool was only 3 ft deep it’s horrible

I won’t be staying at a Marriott again. After charging over $400 for a very small room, they now charge you to park in their parking lot. This hotel is not downtown with limited parking, it is miles away from downtown with a huge parking lot. also, their water slides are only open a few, select hours a day. This hotel was not worth the money.

Pool was freezing. Had to pay for parking. Walls were all scratched up. Room was mediocre for the price

Let's talk about what myself and other guests I talked to were VERY upset about, the $10 parking fee. I can understand it being charged in some downtown areas, but this was on the edge of Missoula MT where there was plenty of open parking available.

Water temp in our shower went from BOILING hot to frigid. Back and forth. It was unsafe to bathe children in and we had to request a different room. And the rooms were dirty overall. Pool area had a mildew smell and the hot tub was ungodly hot, to an unsafe level hot. And the hot tub desperately needed cleaned. It was gross. With as much money as we spent, I will not stay there again for what we received.

Airport shuttle was fast & convenient.

Pretty sad. We were charged for parking and didn't see that before booking. Room was dirty. Clothes left from the last party that rented room. Bathroom ceiling had spots of mildew because of no ventilation in the room. The window view was of the roof, and no mention of this before booking room. Staff missinformed us of pool hours twice. Also the upstairs renter was extremely loud and paced above us until after midnight. The waterslides were the best feature.

So my room wasn’t quite clean, with pubic hair in the shower. But I’m going to stand in the shower not sit so whatever. Friday night the swimming pool was great, but then it was too cold the rest of the weekend.

Wonderful clean hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast attendant, Blaine, was incredibly attentive.

Quite disappointed in their lack of cleanliness. We stayed 5 nights and never had housekeeping come once. We had to take out our own garbage and when we asked, they just handed us bags. There Was also a clump of hair and a bandaid near the pool’s edge that was there Monday when we arrived and was still there when we left on Saturday morning. Clearly they don’t clean the floors just like they don’t clean the rooms. Very disappointing for a Merriot property.

Quiet on a Thursday, and breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Clearly, the property gets a lot of hard use during the summer months as there is a lot of wear and tear touch-up work needed. Bathroom had mildew/mold in shower. Garbage cans in hallways overflowing on arrival, cleared by morning.

The room was not cleaned very well prior to our check in. Tons of dirt and dust bunnies in the corners. Also, a dirty sock was there to greet us upon our arrival in the bath room. Made us wonder if anything was actually cleaned at all.

We were just slightly disappointed in that our toilet was a little dirty at arrival and the sofa bed where someone's head should lay was not even with the rest of the bed. All in all, for the money, it was decent. We didn't arrive until hours after check in, and I feel that the toilet should have been clean completely. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. The pool and water slides were an amazing perk, our kids loved it.

We reserved a king room with a sofa sleeper. The first room we were in, the sleep sofa had pee stains and hair on the mattress pad, there were no sheets and under the sofa hadn’t been cleaned in months, it was filthy. The cleaners left their cleaning supplies in the bathroom that my kid found. There were no towels. It was as if the room wasn’t ready, however, the bed was clean I requested a new room, the second room (king and sleeper sofa again), was at least vacuumed, no cleaning products and there were towels, however, the sleep sofa had food crusted on the side of the cushion, it wasn’t vacuumed underneath. The mattress pad was clean, but when I took the bag out for the sheets, there were no sheets and the comforter had blood on it. I had to get to an event and had no time to change rooms yet again, so I put my kid in the king bed with us. You could hear the people moving around above us all night and the kids screaming in the halls. When I first complained, they gal said she would “comp me a few snacks up front” haha as if that makes up for the filth. The morning of checkout I provided feedback and they gave me some Marriott points, nice gesture, but is there anything worse than a dirty hotel room? I think not. Also, the slides are unbelievable fast and there isn’t a pool to swim in while the slides are running bc they push the person out so fast and far into the pool. Book at your own risk, do better Marriott.

Overall, the hotel feels dirty and old. Missing screen on window, which is a huge safety issue. Grime on bathroom floor. Broken remote. Missing cover for cords in room. Smells dirty. Hotel hallways and floor in dining area is covered in debris and stickiness. Front desk agent was rude and off-putting. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, especially at this price point. Tiny swimming area (not a true pool) and two slides don’t make it worth it.

Our room was so roomy and nice. However the lighting in the room absolutely sucks. The best part of the hotel is the small little waterpark. Our room hadn’t been vacuumed. There was debris and dirt. I also didn’t like that I had to make up the whole sofa bed, there weren’t any sheets or anything already on it. Overall, the hotel is very nice. The rooms are nice. The lighting sucks and the floors weren’t as clean as I think they should have been. The small waterpark is fun and the breakfast was good.

This is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel. It’s beautiful and spacious. We had a king room with a pullout bed and it was very comfortable. There was a wonderful shower. In the mornings they offer breakfast and the breakfast was good. This hotel included an indoor water park featuring a water play area for the kids and a pool just for them. A bigger pool for adults and a hot tub also two slides. Service was very helpful. We had left something behind and the housekeepers looked everywhere for it and found it for us and got it to us no problem.

Oh my gosh we loved this hotel. The staff was soooooo sweet and kind. We were greeted so often. Even at breakfast staff came up to us to ask about our experience. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy. The waterslides were also fun. We were celebrating my daughters 16th bday and it truly helped make a memorable trip for my daughter. Will definitely be back.

Great stay, but very uncomfortable bed and pillows

Overall fine hotel stay. The water park feature is really cool and a fun addition to the hotel that solidified our decision to stay there when we were choosing a place. My only complaint was there was obviously little insulation between floors and rooms. Doors slamming was so loud it made my room door move. And we could hear the floor above us whenever they moved. Not the hotels fault or the staff, just the building quality. Maybe future remodels take into consideration how guests don’t want to hear every footfall of everyone also staying there.

The staff were friendly and gave tips for around town. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The shower door handle has very sharp corners. I bumped into it while showering and came out bleeding. The walls between the rooms werent very sound proof. The pool area had no place to swim for adults when the kids are playing. We went on the slides once but weren't comfortable going more because worried we'd crash into a child at the bottom. The hotel was pretty nice and gorgeous but I would expect a bit more for the price and being a Marriott hotel.

Our heat was broken in r room..45 degrees outside! The sink drain went down very slow. Breakfast was good. Room overlooked roof. Not great! Not sure if we would stay again

It was nice and pretty clean I did have candy wrappers under the edge of my bed. I thought the beds are extremely hard. They seem worn out. We were on second floor and kids ran up and down the hallways on the 2nd and 3rd all night. Maybe kids need to be on floor 1. I just expected a little more from the Marriot.

Room was clean. No issues. Front desk staff were excellent. The Front Desk Manager was extremely helpful.

Connie at the front desk was very unhelpful and somewhat patronizing. Called our room early in the AM when we were all sleeping knowing we had a late arrival. Got in at 1:30am due to a flight delay. We were refused a late check out. Walls were thin and housekeeping was excessively loud in the morning. Beds and pillows were not comfortable. They give each bed 3 pillows. I didn't even ask for a sack breakfast knowing my kids would miss breakfast that ended at 9am because they needed to sleep, because Connie was so Karen-like. Would prefer the C'mon Inn who has nice staff, amenities and restaurants nearby.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We were visiting Missoula prior to meeting up with a group in Paradise. Your staff had great suggestions on what there was to do in the area and giving us rides to and from some of these nearby locations. Well trained, kind and friendly. I will absolutely stay here again morris because of your excellent staff

We had an amazing stay for one night. Our young son hurt himself (my son’s fault entirely). Staff jumped into action to help bring us first aid supplies, ice and everything we could ever need. Additionally, they drove us to doctor for care without skipping a beat. They allowed extra time in the room as my wife packed, then picked us up from doctor, on the way to the airport. The staff absolutely exceeded all expectations. We’re friendly, helpful and understanding of how they could help us. Additionally, the accommodated game meat in their freezer and early check. Continental breakfast had wonderful cold and hot options. We will stay here again on our next trip to Montana. Thanks again to all of them! :)

Best hotel breakfasf ever. Blazing fast check-in.

Rude night staff. Worst breakfast of any hotel I’ve been to at 8 am. Broken light above bed . For the price of a night not worth it , no senior discount or surgery discount. Should have went to Econolodge instead !!

The women working at the front desk went above and beyond for us after a very long day of travel. When DoorDash accidentally dropped our drink in the parking lot, the girls offered us a replacement. 10/10!

Agent at counter rude, kept interrupting. Bragging about 20yrs of service. Wouldn’t offer late check out. Different agent at counter next morning very polite and gladly extended our check out time.

I booked this hotel as I was visiting my daughter and grandson and wanted to have a really special and fun visit. Every single employee of this hotel was short, rude, condescending and made you feel like you were interrupting them or distracting them from whatever it was they were doing. I flew in from Seattle and our entire vacation was going to this hotel to have an adventure and hang out. I will definitely look for other options in the future. I dont care how busy your hotel is or whatever else is going on you don’t treat your guests like inconveniences…they won’t come back.

The stay was nice. Very accommodating. I was very impressed with the service. They picked me up from the car rental and brought me back to the hotel. Then the morning I left, the shuttle dropped me off at 5:00AM at the airport and had a bag breakfast for me. Very nice.

Chosen for proximity to Missoula airport for a very early morning flight. Exceeded expectations. Did not stay long enough to do a review on surrounding area, food service and or amenities however. Great night sleep. Front staff and shuttle driver were very courteous, friendly and professional.

We had a great stay at the Fairfield in Missoula. Our kids loved the water slides our room was good. We had a small cooler of frozen items that the staff was very kind and helpful in storing in a freezer for the night. The hotel shuttle to the airport was very convenient. If we are back in Missoula, we will stay here again!

Nicely updated, and well appointed also very clean really great staff all in all a very nice stay! One thing to note is there is not really anything nearby within walking distance as far as stores and restaurants go. But of course, very convenient to the airport.

It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Its just two minutes from the airport. It's near the highway. Downtown Missoula is just five minutes away.

Breakfast menu was scant. Had to wait in line for the next proportion of cooked food. Everything else was good.

I thought this hotel would be so much fun with the water slides, but it was not. After booking my room I found out only guests could swim, which was very disappointing since we were visiting cousins. The pool itself was so cold! The first night it was very cold and the hot tub was okay. The second night the hot tub was barely bath water temperature, and the pool was a little warmer. Monday morning my husband went down to breakfast with the kids and found out that breakfast closes at 9am on the week days! The breakfast lady was nice and let me come down and get breakfast before she cleaned it all up. The beds were also too firm for me and out of all the pillows in the room not one soft fluffy one. My daughter woke up with a sore neck the first morning. So overall, I will not recommend and I will not stay here again.

This is one of the nicer Fairfield Inns we have stayed at. Unfortunately they do not offer dairy free options for breakfast, apparently adding milk or milk powder to the eggs and or sausage. The staff told my husband he could have a muffin or oatmeal for breakfast. Doesn't work if you prefer to eat protein for breakfast, so we had to find a breakfast restaurant and forego the included breakfast.

Pool was freezing, hot tub lukewarm and dirty, kids using it as a pool which was understandable given the temperature of the pool plus the air temperature was so cold adults wearing their winter coats while they sat and watched kids complain and freeze in the cold water. Breakfast was mediocre sausage and biscuits but no gravy. No pancakes or waffles. Cereal choices not kid friendly. We stay here specifically because of the water park for the kids. You need to invest more money into your heating system. By the waytgehallwdys we’re freezing too. The hotel was quiet at nighttime and the room was clean and comfortable.

We wanted to visit and use the waterslide. We had our dog with us, so the hotel charges $50. I'm not sure why, because the rooms are not carpeted, so cleanup is easy. Also, they do not provide an outdoor poop bag station, which is a disappointment. What are they doing with my $50? The waterslide was fun. The motel has safety rules listed, such as one person at a time and don't go headfirst. They also have a person monitoring at the base of the slide. However, the person didn't uphold the stated rules. We observed 2-4 kids going down the slide either together or in quick succession and in any position on the slide. As an adult, I didn't feel like my safety was in jeopardy, but I wonder why they have listed rules that their staff doesn't impose. We observed a pile of macaroni on the steps to the top of the waterslide - did someone throw up and not clean up their mess. That was gross. The big disappointment was that the breakfast is over at 9:00 AM. We slept in (because the hotel was quiet) and got rolling at 9:00 and found that we couldn't have free breakfast. Oh well....
