Amazing location, close to the train station. The building is stylish. The room has everything you need including a kitchen, microwave oven, coffee machine, dishwasher and laundry machine. Honestly it’s perfect for short to long stay with family or couples.

Hotel is ideal as it's located very close to city center and Piccadilly train station. Hotel was very lively and busy on arrival as there is a large bar / restaurant area just as you walk in. Parking is available under the hotel but prebook early with the parking company as it's only small. Some reception staff more pleasant than others but overall the experience was good and we would stay again.

This was our second time staying at Native for work in Manchester. We really like the vibe of the hotel, that it has a car park below at a reasonable rate, it's in great walking distance of much of what Manchester has to offer and the check in is really simple. The bar area and restaurant serve delicious food and is a nice spot to just sit and work for a while. Our only slight gripe was that the bed is very firm. We'd previously stayed in a studio and don't remember the bed being so firm, so maybe it's just in the standard rooms? We would stay again though as it generally ticks so many boxes.

An excellent hotel choice, my new favorite in Manchester as a frequent traveler. The rooms are spacious and nice, the staff friendly, and check-in is a breeze. It's a trendy place that combines a hotel, restaurant, bar, and car park with various businesses – an all-in-one establishment. However, don't use the hotel car park; £40/night is taking the mickey, and if you don't pay within 15 minutes of entering, a £100 fine will incur. Instead, use one of the neighboring car parks just outside the hotel for £7.95 for 24 hours.

Property was fantastic, hotel staff was exceptional, helpful and friendly especially helping me when I couldn’t locate their car park as it shows a different locution (ncp parking) on google maps. Luckily we had a room with a window, room gets very warm as there is no aircon so kept window open all night but you will get outside noise obviously, e.g police, people, dogs, vehicles early in the morning. Bed was comfy and large. We didn’t experience any internal noise. Parking is very safe and convinient. Fabulous bar/restaurant downstairs. Would happily stay again.

Top class large appartment right in the heart of Manchester city centre. Really easy to check in, no issues with our stay. Clean, well furnished appartment that you could live in! WiFi was good, shower was powerful and hot and best of all the bed was comfortable and we slept well. I booked the appartment to visit the coop live venue. This was a 30 minute walk along the canal bank door to door! We parked on site underneath Native and pre booked. Not cheap I suppose but worth it as we didn’t need to lug bags around before want after our stay. I will stay here again. Thanks

Room wasn’t ready on arrival but Staff were helpful and friendly and gave us a different room and some drinks vouchers for the bar while we waited. Code then didn’t work to access room but staff sorted it out promptly. Room was very spacious living area was large but didn’t look like pictures on website at all. Very bare looking and basic unlike photos on website which had lots of plants and soft furnishings and looked homely hence why I booked it in the first place. The sink in bathroom was completely blocked and full of hair which was disgusting, there is no way cleaners could have missed this when cleaning which makes me think they didn’t care and ignored it. The extra single bed in living room was ridiculously small for an adult and very uncomfortable. The main bedroom however was comfortable and we slept well although my 16 year old son slept terribly on single fold out bed which was also a lot smaller than photos on website. Doesn’t seem acceptable when paying a premium price. Television didn’t work properly kept loosing signal and picture quality and sound quality were bad. Definitely wouldn’t book to stay again lesson learnt. Traditional hotels provide a better standard and service compared to apartotels.

The room was huge, but it was very dirty and very worn down. We had to call someone in to clean, as there were a ton of breadcrumbs on the window sil and crunchy corn all over the floor. We also found insects and spiderwebs. There were coffee stains (or so I hope) on the bed frame. The upholstery on the chairs was filthy. The couch was very dirty too. The place was dirty. Nobody came to clean it on the next day either.

Efficient check in. My room had minimal light but was very large which was nice. Unfortunately it hadn’t been cleaned properly basics like toilet paper were missing. I was only there for on night so no point complaining.

Very well appointed, location very good. Didn’t try any of the facilities, as was in and out. Located right next to Piccadilly station, which is why we booked as had a very early start. Loads of space, very modern. Couldn’t really fault the decor or staff we encountered. The only negative was cleanliness. There was an empty hair cream tub at the side of the sink, from the previous guest. Toilet still had a poo mark down the inside that hadn’t been cleaned off, again must be from previous guest. Shower all splashed up with white water marks. It had been cleaned, but not thoroughly and consistently, as they just wouldn’t be there. Also, lots of hair inside the plug hole, which is visible when brushing teeth. From a distance, the whole place is clean enough, just finer detail and I would expect better, regardless of stars/hotel rating. All in all, I wouldn’t not stay again if price was right and I needed that particular location, just not a place I would rush back to. Don’t think it would take too much sorting, if they just spent a little more time/effort on the cleaning.

I did not enjoy the stay. The place is being renovated so it was noisy (communication about it was good. I didnt feel the room met adequate cleanliness standards with stains on the couch, carpet and severe water damage in the bathroom. The room also had an unpleasant pet/damp odour

The room decor and general vibe is excellent, huge fan of what they have done here however the noise is really quite ridiculous. My room appeared to be situated beneath a service entrance and from the hours of 2am - 6am the noise was simply insane. I could also hear the room next door snoring, so clearly there has been no sound proofing performed. Such a shame as the hotel and rooms themselves are really excellent.

comfortable big bed, spacious bathroom and plenty of room! My only issue is that the tv wasn’t great. Watching live tv wasn’t good quality, and you can only chromecast to the TV which isn’t particularly helpful with an iphone.

Stayed as a family of four in a top floor penthouse. The penthouse was spacious and has great views over the city skyline. Less good was the noise from the rain that drips off the roof onto the glass panels above the bedrooms, the bright light from the air conditioning control panel that lights up the room even when it is switched off, and the random vibrating noise through the night from the air con, none of us were able to get a good nights sleep

Huge studio room with kitchen and lounge area. Nicely decorated and clean. Only downside was the noise from the fire doors at 5/6 am with comings and goings. We were in Ground flour room 1. Also no aircon which would be a problem on very hot days as windows don’t open either. All in all would come back again if price was right as convenient location and comfy room.

We had a terrible nights sleep in a room that was unbearably hot. For some reason the hotel saw it fit to not bother installing air conditioning but instead use an overhead fan that does nothing. The TV didn’t have any signal and the bedding was rough. I’m not one to complain but boy do they have some improving to do!

Lovely place, really comfortable bed and lovely and clean. My main issue is there is nowhere in the bedroom to do your hair or makeup. The mirror is above the headboard of the bed and no other mirror in the room. The lighting also isn’t great in the living room in the place that had a mirror with a plug. The location is great, easy to get around the city.

Hotel is great, unique due to the type of building. Apartment style is a great size for the money. Despite the rooms having brick walls and the building being a converted mill the rooms are very warm and cozy. Only complaint would be to have net curtains to let natural light in whilst retaining privacy.

Had a great stay here, room was so nice, clean and had everything you could need in there as well, we actually ended up extending our stay as well. There was also a number you could text for anything you needed as well and they responded really quickly. Will deffo stay here anytime I’m in Manchester again!

Joe on reception (17th March 2024 evening time) was simply superb! When a couple of technical faults occured in our room he tried to fix them and then when he couldnt, he upgraded us to the penthouse and we were also given drinks from the bar FOC and an extended check out time of 12.00 noon the next day. Joe simply could not do enough for us and really did turn what had started out as a poor stay into the best hotel experinece myself, my wife and our 2 kids have ever experienced. We left the hotel this afternoon feeling like we had been well and truly looked after and appreciated as customers - which is unheard of these days - and it was all thanks to Joe and his above and beyond approach to customer service. We will now be back at the hotel time and again, as oposed to maybe not bothering had our issues not been so professionally adressed and resolved. Very, very impressed.

An amazing place, stunning atrium when you walk in, the rooms were really well appointed and beautifully clean. The experience was let down by maintenance issues. * The new for lock system was having issues so a member of staff had to let me in my room each time, *a cover kept falling off on the shower, * the TV glitched on most channels and * the dishwasher door was leaning off. There was also an almost obtrusive logging on process where you have to scan your passport for every person. But if you have a 2 person room and only one guest, you can't compete registration. All that said, it was a beautiful place and I would stay again, maybe not in the same room (two hundred and seven), but definitely would stay again.

Rooms are nice and well maintained. Had a comfortable stay and location is excellent. However, they force you to do an online check in including uploading ID document. Following my stay they emailed to say they’ve lost my personal data in a breach, which doesn’t appear to be the first time for this company. They also plan on doing nothing to rectify this or compensate people who are more than likely now have details used for fraud or be victim of very specific phishing attempts. Having to now change all passwords and consider cancelling my ID docs marred the overall experience.

Dear Native Manchester Team, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent check-in experience at your hotel. While we fully understand that the weekend was exceptionally busy with the start of the Oasis event, we found your check-in policy to be both misleading and frustrating. Your online booking page prominently displays a check-in time of 3pm, which reasonably leads guests to believe that their rooms will be ready at that time. It is only upon closer inspection, in much smaller print, that it states “check-in starts from 3pm.” This distinction is extremely subtle, feels intentionally vague, and comes across as unnecessarily sneaky. Clear communication upfront would have avoided any misunderstanding. To make matters worse, we had booked two rooms under the same reservation. While one of these rooms was ready, inexplicably, ours was not. This inconsistency only added to our frustration. Perhaps most disappointing of all was the attitude of the staff we dealt with. We were met with stubborn, rude, and wholly unempathetic responses. They flatly offered four complimentary drinks as compensation—without any real apology or sign of understanding. Their demeanor was indifferent, lacking any warmth or concern for the inconvenience caused. Frankly, this felt disrespectful and dismissive. We expected far better from a hotel of your reputation, particularly when issues were clearly due to internal communication and policy presentation. We hope you take this feel

We were unable to check in online as the website wouldn’t accept our ID photos. When we got to reception this step wasn’t even needed so not sure what the point was? At reception we were told our room was ready (it was 1:30 so that’s fine check in wasn’t until 3). But we were then told it might not be ready for 3 but we would get a text when it was. So we waited around the city centre, with our 2 year old. Only to never receive a second text. By 3:30 we gave up and just came back, the room was ready to check in, we just had not been told. Very poor processes and communication.

Perfectly wonderful. Seamless. Great room. Near to the Northern Quarter re restaurants. Walked to / from the Etihad for the football. Co-op Arena is of course next door to the stadium.

Within a few minute walk of Piccadilly station. Reception staff were all very friendly and check in was quick and easy. All areas of the hotel are immaculate. An impressive building and an amazing room. One of the comfiest beds we have slept in. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!

Really comfy, stylish and cool property right by Piccadilly. Really convenient and an unusual property which made for really enjoyable stay. Our apartment overlooked the main road and was too noisy in the night with clubbers but a room on the other side of the building would be fine. Highly recommend.

Spectacular hotel built from former warehouse and retaining original features. The interior walls between rooms are thin and poorly insulated for sound. Any noise is intrusive. Me neighbour snored and it was as if they were in my room. The room service was poor. The menu was reasonable but 80% of the items were unavailable. The bar restaurant (Ducie Street Warehouse) is stylish but is trying hard to cater to a w8de audience. Spacious but with a lack of seating, i was studiously ignored at the bar. Eventually i was told " be with you in a minute" othwr customers arrived and were served and then the barmen went back to socialising. After 20 minutes i left, the staff watched me leave. I was made to feel unwanted as a customer. I stayed during lockdown and was looking forwards to a fully open hotel. Pretentious and disappointing. I would not recommend. Reception staff were great.

Brilliant location and excellent deisgn of the hotel and room, and the kitchenette was very handy to have. However the sound proofing was poor, could hear every door slam, every siren outside and the next room's talking, phones and morning alarms going off like we were in there with them so very frustrating as we barely got any sleep. Bar space downstairs is great but coffee and breakfast was sadly deeply average despite a promising menu. A shame as the dog friendly nature was also appealing for future stays but I wouldn't recommend it as highly

Great atmosphere in the hotels ground floor. With a dj and bat as well as an outside area. Two bedroom apartment was really big, clean and well equipped. Would definitely return
