Great experience. The place was clean. The breakfast cafeteria was great. Check in was easy.. but not before 4pm! We had two singles that were in separate rooms with a main common area and private bathroom. Worked great. Was quiet. The beds are not super comfy, but they worked. There is no blackout window coverings for sleeping, so pack an eye mask. The parking is underground underneath and very tight and limited… but still got a spot and never moved my car the whole time. 20$ a day. It’s a block from the place des art Subway, you can get anywhere. You are only a couple blocks from shopping at St Catherine’s. The price was great for a 2 day trip to see a concert. Would stay again.

Clean and convenient university dorms. Towels were poor quality and shed on your skin so I would suggest bringing your own towels. Mattress was basically plastic and bedding/pillows felt cheap. If you need a hair dryer or any equipment, they keep your ID until everything is returned. Gym, basketball court and other amenities were very clean. Breakfast was good. Parking was convenient and right beside the building. Overall, not a bad stay for the price!

Great rooms and comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast which was a full buffet. Also enjoyed playing on the ping pong tables and using the excellent fitness center. Beds are single and in separate spaces great for friends and family. Could be an adjustment for spouses.

Good economical option if you are just looking for a bed in the city. Very tight rooms, but sizable public areas on the ground floor. The building houses local college students during the school year. Includes a decent, cafeteria style breakfast in the AM. They have some arcade games, ping pong, and pool tables that would keep younger guests happy. The beds are pretty high - somebody with mobility issues would find it challenging. Parking garage was a disaster, but I'm guessing the construction will be completed soon. There were a bunch of signs indicating cars would be towed, but also cars parked right next to those signs. There are several other good overnight parking options close by.

Check in process was confusing and long. My bed sheets were soiled and the comforter was also soiled. When attempted to get this issue resolved with the “front desk” I was told to email the general email address as the manager on duty was too busy to address the issue with me in person. 6 days later I never heard back.

I stayed for six days, never have anyone come in to clean the room. Dust on the floor, hair in bathtub etc. that I have to do it myself. Towels never changed, that you have to go to the reception area to ask for them. Terrible! More to it, I did extended for two extra days, my bed sheet never got changed either.

The room was clean and the check in was super easy! The bed was a little springy and the pillows are really thin. Armit at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and gave us extra pillows and towels. A good stay!! The free breakfast every morning was great as well lots of options.

Wir waren 7 Nächte dort und bei uns wurde nicht einmal das Zimmer gereinigt. Wir hatten keine sauberen Handtücher (Handtücher waren so alt und schon zerrissen) und nach 3 Tagen hatten wir noch nicht mal mehr Klopapier. Ich habe knapp 1850,00 Euro bezahlt und dafür kann man schon etwas Service erwarten. Ich würde es niemandem empfehlen, es ist nicht mal 50 Euro pro Nacht wert. Auf keinen Fall dort übernachten.

Loved the fact that the building had security and you needed a swipe card to access it. The location was perfect close enough to walk most places and getting there from the airport was easy. It was clean, well maintained and had everything you needed. Breakfast was excellent loved all the options.

Beds were high as had drawers under bed so if short, made climbing up a challenge, twin beds were very wide, but the linens were thin with no under blanket so kept hearing plastic mattress when you moved. No electrical outlet or light by bed, weird design. Breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit salad and hot food.

We enjoyed our brief stay. The location was great, walking distance to most places. I loved our twin beds room where there was a wall between the bed, offering us more privacy. The shower didn't work, unfortunately, and we could have used a small refrigerator in the room.

Rooms are very barebones. The bed is very high up, would be nice to have it at a more average height. Wifi didn’t work the whole time I was here. Breakfast is good. Lots of amenities on site but I didn’t utilize any to comment.

Check in was decently easy, but the rooms don’t have a TV. I didn’t think they would but was hoping for it so just keep that in mind 😭. The beds are very stiff and the pillows are way too soft (only one pillow per bedroom). The toilet and shower are in one room while the sink is out in the open, disconnected from the bathroom. Feels gross having to touch the door knob before washing your hands. No microwave or fridge in the rooms either. To top it all off the bedroom doors lock from the inside. I didn’t know this and got locked out of my bedroom and had to ask the staff to unlock it for me. There is only one outlet in the bedroom that is far from the bed and none in the living room. At least they provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion 😅.

This is not a hotel!! It’s a campus dorm. Great for a young adult traveling but if you’re used to turndown service, snack bars, luggage holding or even early check in — this place is not for you. Our first night the power went out (which was not their fault) but when I went down to the lobby to find out what happened, I got STUCK in the stairwell. They have POWER operated doors, and there was a power outage. I was stuck in that stairwell for 20 minutes before someone on my floor heard me screaming and came to open the door. The property itself was fine, staff was nice, but again— this is more of a college campus dorm. Doors are thin, you can heard everyone passing by, the rooms are small. Also no TVs, no hangers, and our shower curtain was broken.

My family stayed at this property for five nights. We like everything about the property except the height of the beds. The location is excellent, breakfast is good, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The room is spotless. The room has two tiny rooms with a small shared area. The height of the beds are high in order to accommodate two storage cabinets under each bed. For a petite person like myself having a height of 5’-2”. it is not easy to climb up the bed. I need to step up to the bed using a tiny side table. The couch in the common area is not a comfortable one either. I guess, the room encourages occupants stay out of the room, except for sleep. Overall, I like the property, good value for the money. I will choose a room more carefully next time.

The location was good and the breakfast was fantastic. The only negative is that they did not have a place to store luggage when we arrived early. You had to walk 3 blocks and pay to store your luggage - $8.00/ piece.

Check in/out process was confusing and understaffed. The staff checking in did not have access and did not provide any direction on what was going on. A lot of people were confused what to do . Check out was at 10a and no option to extend, the baggage storage attendant was severely understaffed. Took 45mins to check your back and another 45 to retrieve it a lot of chaos. The rooms were clean and basic and the amenities were ok. Location was great. Easy to get to the metro and downtown

I like that we were very close to a lot of spots, walking distance to downtown and half an hour walk to Zipline and Ferris wheel! First time there and it was great! Super helpful that everyone was super accommodating speaking English despite horror stories of not being able to speak French! Great experience
I like that we were very close to a lot of spots, walking distance to downtown and half an hour walk to Zipline and Ferris wheel! First time there and it was great! Super helpful that everyone was super accommodating speaking English despite horror stories of not being able to speak French! Great experience

We enjoyed our brief stay. The location was great, walking distance to most places. I loved our twin beds room where there was a wall between the bed, offering us more privacy. The shower didn't work, unfortunately, and we could have used a small refrigerator in the room.

Campus1 MTL is great. We checked in late at night but the process was easy. The staff at the reception explained the t&c of our stay very well. The only downside is that the street in front of the property is being repaired which caused a lot of traffic in the area and made it difficult for us to get there. This is outside the control of Campus1 MTL though. But overall, our stay at this property is very good and convenient.

Great experience. The place was clean. The breakfast cafeteria was great. Check in was easy.. but not before 4pm! We had two singles that were in separate rooms with a main common area and private bathroom. Worked great. Was quiet. The beds are not super comfy, but they worked. There is no blackout window coverings for sleeping, so pack an eye mask. The parking is underground underneath and very tight and limited… but still got a spot and never moved my car the whole time. 20$ a day. It’s a block from the place des art Subway, you can get anywhere. You are only a couple blocks from shopping at St Catherine’s. The price was great for a 2 day trip to see a concert. Would stay again.

The location was amazing. I was there for the race weekend and it was so close to metro and in 2 stops I was at the track and also very close to Old Port. Loved how convenient it was

Two things there were not expected that made the experience a bit uncomfortable, first was the check in, took longer than normal and they told me that I had to pay because Expedia had refunded me, I never received any communications from Expedia until I contacted them after my return, which thankfully the refund is being processed. The second was the breakfast, their information said that the breakfast starts at 8:30am on weekends, but it was actually at 9:30am, which threw off my plan. The check out is at 10am, which does not leave much time after the breakfast, so I asked for an hour extension and they said that would not be possible. Be aware of this if you are visiting on a weekend.

Location excellent. Breakfast is good but the cafeteria was VERY crowded with no available tables. You are not allowed to take dishes out of the breakfast room, so we missed breakfast a couple of days. It appears the reason why is they were providing breakfast to youth athletic teams that were staying in the hotel around the corner. One morning we saw at LEAST forty kids walk out of their hotel and file into our hotel. The bathroom tub did not drain properly so you had to stand in a tub of water when showering. In the second room we booked the bathtub faucet diverter wasn't working properly so again, a tub of water while only getting a trickle of water for your shower. I reported the issues but they were not fixed during our stay. You need key cards to come into the building and to leave the building. My son left with his key card and when checking out they charged us $34. I understand key cards are not cheap, but I thought it a little unreasonable that they would let me return it and then be refunded. Especially given the substandard conditions of the bathrooms during our 4 night stay and the purposeful overcrowding.

Wonderful use of a campus building! Great area with lots to do. My basic level room was massive and the bed was really comfy. I saw some other reviews that said to request extra pillows but I was fine with the two. The breakfast selection was excellent. Just know that the cafeteria will likely be very busy (not just with hotel guests). There is plenty of seating though and in a wide variety of high top tables, regular tables, booths, and benches. I do wish I had the option to eat breakfast in my room since the dishes can't leave the cafeteria but that's ok. The team working there was nice. The building is super secure too. You actually need your key card to exit and enter so keep that in mind.
