Great walking distance located downtown. Valet is outrageously priced. You’re better off just parking on the street by the hotel if you can. Only 2 of the elevators were working so it was literally a pain having to get to our room. When we checked out we literally walked down 19 flights of stairs bc of the line waiting to use the elevator was way too long.

The proximity to Astro’s game was great. The burgers at Rig restaurant was very good, the waiters/bartenders as well. The room was the best we’ve had in a while. Last but not least the hospitality from front desk and housekeeping was superb. They went an extra mile for us. Thank you!

Currently doing construction and the elevators are a bit slow. Those were the only slightly annoying things. Everything else was phenomenal. Amazing room, great view, excellent staff, great bar.

Cambria was great! There’s a little construction outside the building on the side walk that takes away from the Cambria sign. It’s a quiet area close to the astros stadium and fans were in and out but still respectful of other guest and quiet. The restaurant inside the hotel was pretty great and had good breakfast options. When I checked in the incidental fee was less than I thought which was great news however I only use my cashapp card on vacations and was informed that cashapp takes a while to return if they do the hold which I appreciated. I let them charge my card and just refund me at the end of the stay and I received my money back in 3 days. The inside of Cambria is lovely! The build of the hotel along with states and gold accents were about 100 years old as I was told and looks beautiful. There are 21 floors and I stayed on the 14th floor. My view was construction but that’s okay my room was very neat and clean. There’s a led mirror in the bathroom with a bluetooth speaker built in that I loved and the bathroom is very spacious. I did not care for the see through shower with no door I felt like water was getting everywhere but that wasn’t a big deal! The staff was super courteous and I wouldn’t mind staying there again. No issues the entire stay, good food, friendly staff and areas to walk around! Parking is $59 a day but I uber or had some friends pick me up. Book your stay because it’s worth. Very good price if yo do not care about pool, gym or getting free water bottles. Clean very beautiful and spacious rooms with good Cable, Wi-Fi, and fridge. Parking about $60 a day - so would recommend as you leave the entrance to go to your left to the corner of the street and cross the street to the next street (San Jacinto St.), then go left about 300 yards and a parking lot on right side that charges $10 for 12 hours. Metered parking free from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Sunday free all day. So I park in lot and pay $10 then move my car to metered parking at 6pm then move back to lot at 7 am and pay $10 again but I save a fortune. This is Saturday so when I move my car to free metered parking tonight at 6 pm then it is totally free until 7:00 am Monday, since Sundays are free. Note that car cannot be in same space more than 24 hrs at a time so make sure meter parking must change spots not to exceed the 24 hour rule and to avoid a ticket.

My only negative comment is the lack of working elevators. We were staying on the 14th floor and there were times we had to wait 10+ minutes for an elevator. otherwise, excellent property!

Room service never came to clean the beds. The entire weekly stayed there. Only one elevator worked in the entire hotel the phone we need to call for towels they would never come and you’d have to go downstairs and get them

Before booking my stay, I looked at recent reviews and saw their were concerns regarding the hotel's elevators. Considering the reviews were a week ago I would have thought they would have fixed them. Upon checking in I realized there were still only 2 working elevators. The elevator I got on could have been cleaner as there was a large noticeable stain on the floor. After checking into my room, later in the evening, I notice a bug that I was not familiar with. At first sight I thought it was a roach but after looking it up online I figured out it was a bed bug. I contact the front desk and they immediately changed my room to a suite. Though I was changed to a new room, the experience of seeing that in the room made me paranoid looking for more bugs throughout my stay. Next morning I requested toothpaste to be delivered to my room. I requested it twice and it never came. I had to come down 14 flights to the front desk to retrieve it myself. Lastly, my flight had been delayed. I contacted the front desk to extend my checkout an extra 2 hours. The front desk refused to grant this request even after communicating my poor experience at their location. I looked at this as POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am not very hard to please when it comes to hotels. I value cleanliness, customer service and available internet access. My experience at Cambria Hotel has soured my first experience visiting Houston TX and I would never book with them again.

It is conveniently located to walk to other areas. The staff was friendly. My only complaint was trying to get my room cleaned. I could not get ahold of household on the phone. When they did clean the room, they did not do a thorough job. he sink was still dirty and the floor needed sweeping.

Likes: The staff were amazing! They were always available for assistance when needed. Dislikes: The room was pretty gross. Under the side tables had built up dust and left over hair from previous guests. The towels had stains and the toilet was not functioning properly. Valet had different tiers of pricing and if you had anything bigger than a sedan, you’re paying $69 per night for parking.

If you plan on staying here, I would wait until construction ends across the street. We were woken up numerous times. The higher the floor better. Bathroom wasn’t properly wiped down (Hair everywhere) and sink and shower pressure was poor. Staff was amazing. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon, which is unfortunate because I normally love Cambria.

The stay was great, the only inconvenience was that the TV/Cable was not working properly, supposedly the internet was working and you would be able just to connect to the internet then connect to the TV but I wasn't willing to go through all that when I just wanted to watch regular TV, other than that inconvenience, everything else was great.

Very beautiful and clean. The air conditioning was awesome. Spacious bathroom. Loved the Bluetooth mirror never had that at any other hotel. My only drawback was that the shower didn’t have a closing door and the bathroom needed a little more hooks and shelves.

The walls were very thin i heard a couple having sex loudly all night long next to me. I was on the 13th floor my tv channels didn't work, the phone didn't work, i waited in lobby for 25 mins no one came to counter although it was after 3a. so i waited and called on my cellphone from the room. i called the front desk 5times and no one ever answered. I was so pissed i couldn't sleep due to the loud noises next door finally i just put my Bluetooth music on the tv to block out the sounds The parking was horrible and it was 40$ i will never stay here again! customer service didn't exist during my stay. To spend 200 on a one night stay was a HUGEEEEE disappointment forsure.

The hotel is nice but the bathrooms are not set up properly, no where to hang towel while in the VERY Open shower . The sliding barn door does not close all the way so privacy in bathroom is limited. Overall the room was nice but the bathroom could use some changes

Arrived 30 minutes after check in time. Long line to check in and only two employees checking people in. When we got close to desk we heard them telling customers that rooms weren’t ready and would call them when they were. When we got to the counter they told us the same thing. I gave them my number and they said it shouldn’t be long. We waited almost an hour and when we went back to counter they were giving people just arriving rooms. When we inquired about our room they said they had forgotten to call us. When we did get our room there was only one set of towels and two very small pillows on the bed. We asked the front desk for more towels and were told there aren’t any. We won’t be staying here again.

Staff was great! Valet parking was pretty chaotic so give yourself at least 30 minutes adjustment time for that. 2 blocks from stadium. I would definitely recommend staying here

The staff here is the best part! My flight landed quite early (8:30am) and even though check in wasn't until 3pm, Janae (Sorry if I spelled that wrong) got me checked in as soon as I arrived to drop off my bags! The staff was also kind enough to hand out a "Recommendations" list for activities & food in the area. I ended up trying a few places and enjoyed them! I also have to thank Aisha/Asia(Im sorry I can't remember exactly) who not only went out of her way to get me the feminine products I needed, but also grabbed me extras!! So grateful!!! I will definitely be staying at a Cambria the next time I travel!

Cambria Hotel was in walking distance to Minute Maid Park and restaurants in downtown Houston. All the staff were friendly and the room was nice and clean. My only complaint is the noise from outside the hotel at night. There was a really loud car racing up and down the street for hours on end and it was really hard to sleep. We had to use a white noise app on our phones to drown out as much noise as possible. It’s not the hotel’s fault but the noise was difficult to deal with.

I had an excellent stay here at The Cambria Hotel. The staff that I interacted with was kind and helpful. I had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant and I must say the food and drinks were amazing. I will definitely be staying at this hotel next time I’m in town!

We stayed at the Cambria Hotel in Houston for a Red Sox/Astros game and had a great experience overall. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which really set the tone for our stay. Special shoutout to Justin and Omar at the bar — they were super welcoming, fun to talk with, and made the evenings even better. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. Daikin Park was just a short 7-minute walk down the road, and there were plenty of food and entertainment options within walking distance, which made our trip even smoother. That said, there are two things worth noting. Valet parking is $60/day, which feels excessive for hotel guests. Also, our room door was unusually heavy — not a huge deal, but my wife genuinely struggled to open it a few times, which was frustrating. All in all, a great hotel in a perfect spot with an excellent team, but hopefully management takes another look at the valet pricing and a few small details like the room doors.

Nice place but zero amenities. Done expect any coffee on the weekends! They said they have coffee for customers in the morning, BUT, come to find out its only during the week. Sunday morning is $7 for a cup of coffee. Room amenities include a k-cup with a cream and sugar. Amazing towels and lots of nice pillows. Decent TV and clean rooms. But for $200 a night and $60 parking I expect more. Easy access to all sporting events is a major bonus.

Towels changed every 3 days - which is a good thing in this day and age - all hotels should do this. It's great to see an original David Yarrow large art print as you walk out the elevator on the 2nd floor reception as I own a couple of large prints too! Location is fairly quiet despite only a few block from Main Street. The popup breakfast shop in the lobby was useful.
