My Place Hotel-Mount Pleasant, WI

The property seems pretty new. They have full fridge and stove. No morning meal but coffee on all the time.

In the lobby the ceiling was being replaced and the elevator didnt go up. Otherwise the stay was enjoyable. The room was clean and functional and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Full kitchens, totally awesome

If I was to describe this place in a word of would be transactional. I called before reserving, asking if we could check in extremely early, like 10 am. I had been driving with my family all night and just needed a shower before an important meeting. They confirmed they had a double queen available, so I booked it here, used Google pay and pulled in a few moments later. True to their word we got into the room a few minutes later. The clerk was training another, and listening through the process it's interesting the steps they have to do because I didn't book directly. Wasn't a problem necessarily, just complicated For the room, nothing special. The bed is firm, the bathroom is OK. The toilet has... Low volume clearance. So if you expect it to flush a bucket of golf balls, you will need to get a plunger from the desk. The place doesn't really matter amenities. Food and drink are all at cost, save coffee. No pool or entertainment / game room. It is well located, and the process was simple and fast. The place wasn't loud, but it might have just been empty. Did exactly what I needed, nothing more or less.

I didn’t realize until after I booked the room that there was no free continental breakfast, which was a little bit of a bummer, but the room was really nice and clean

Everything was great. All the rooms come with a kitchen so having a full size refrigerator was jice

We over paid by at least 40 dollars. There was no smoke detector in our room. Pretty shady clientele. Never any one at the front desk No breakfast. No pool. I will never stay at this hotel chain again.

The room is excellent. It's a fairly newer hotel. Area is quiet. The only thing I don't like is that the person is not at the desk. The food was also sold out near the counter. They said they're going to make a decision whether they're going to go full-time and do the food sale later. It doesn't tell you that you have to get the phone at the lobby and call zero to get the person to come out.

Here for a lacrosse tournament. Conveniently located. Great air conditioning, which was perfect because it was really hot. Full size fridge was great, but if you use ice, you’ll want to bring some because the ice maker doesn’t start until you turn it on, and there is no other ice machine on the premise. There are no utensils, which I assumed there would be with a stove. This was never stated, so that misunderstanding was my fault, but bring pans, plates, and cutlery if you plan on cooking. Overall, great stay for a great price.

Every thing was awesome! Very quite stay. But, the snow in the parking lot wasn’t cleaned up very well and why too much rock salt was brought into the rooms.

The smell in the hallways and the rooms was awful! That will be the last time we stay there.

The hotel itself is nice but there were several things wrong with our hotel room. We were supposed to have two queen beds with a reclining chair but our room didn’t have a reclining chair. We also were given a handicap accessible room even though we didn’t book one so everything in the room was really low to the ground. The shower and kitchen sink both had really bad clogs in the drains. The kitchen sink drain was filled with old decaying food scraps and was absolutely disgusting, the garbage disposal in the sink also didn’t work. We were at the hotel for two night and after the first night, when we talked to the front desk lady in the morning, she said that she would have someone come to our room to snake our drains but no one ever came so we had the same issues the following morning. Also no one came to our room to replace our towels and make our beds etc. Our room also had a bad musty smell that wouldn’t go away probably due to the food in the sink. We were never offered to change rooms and the front desk lady we spoke to in the morning was fairly rude/dismissive. When went to check out on the last day, there was no front desk person in sight. We waited for over 5 minutes and even called using the phone in the office like their sign stated to do and still no one came. We ended up leaving our room key on the desk. It was an overall pretty bad experience. The younger front desk lady who worked both night shifts was nice though.

The room had no toliet paper in it, there was a wrapper by the coffee pot, microwave was still flashing food and the bottom heating for the coffee pot had white crud all over it. The bathroom itself had hair and dirt all over the floor. One bed was squeaky and the other had black hair on it. The room had a bad odor I had to sleep with window open. Not a good night sleep when traveling from one town to the other for work.

Urine stain by the toilet. Very strange smell in the room. But stayed just one night. So its ok.

This entire hotel smells like cheap gas station pizza. The sheets and pillowcases had no fold lines so it was questionable weather they were clean or not. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom and wondered about what else was crawling around while I slept. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I’m sure I smell like pizza now too!

Hallways stinks like wet dog- room wasn’t too bad ,shower curtain had mold on the bottom

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I feel like the only thing missing was a pool. Not that I'm complaining. The stay was great.

It was a great stay! Wish there was a pool. Also I don’t believe the beds are queen size maybe full? Other than that it was a great stay! Will be back!

A really great check in here. Attentive staff let me know everything I needed to know with the facility. My room on the first floor had a window looking out to the next hotel, across a parking lot. Not for the views so it didn’t really bother me. There was a stagnant smell that required air fresheners and, the window to remain open. My bed was hard as a rock with old style mattresses and I believe some sort of pillow top cover. Bathroom was very usable, plenty of towels for me. Kitchen was very helpful. The recliner is old and nasty and most likely where the orders are emitting from. Throw it out and replace it. I covered it in a towel. Room shots taken a day into the stay to give that “Lived in” feel. lol. It really is a good place situated perfectly near the Freeway 94 @ exit 333. Prices are very affordable as well. There is also a covered patio out back with a built in grill, table and chairs for an outdoor meal!

I stayed one night, but the property and room was very clean and organized. Room smelled fresh and beds plus pillows were very soft I definitely would stay again and next time will try more then one night.

Staff was excellent. We were able to check in early as we had a wedding that had been moved further away from the hotel and we needed the extra time. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Beds and pillows were wonderful. I'm trying to find a way to buy one of those pillows!! Except for the person above us walking aroiund for about 2 hours at 1 AM it was a very pleasant stay. We will definitely be looking for "My Place" facilities in future travels.

Always nice to stay there. Gentleman at the desk last night 1/18/25 was so nice and accomidating. Easy check in and out. Love staying here.

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is outdated with subpar facilities and amenities. Rooms are old and shabby and full of conwebs. Towels and sheets were poor quality, ripped, and dingy. The TV didn’t work, and the kitchenette had no in-room amenities. The refrigerator smelled like fish. Front desk staff was not readily available at any time - you had to call from across the room to get someone to show up. The convenience/snack area was barely stocked. We stayed six nights and received no housekeeping services. We were told on night five that stays under a week don’t get service, which was never clearly communicated. The lobby, elevator, and hallways smelled of either cigarette smoke or marijuana (or both) throughout our entire stay. Overall, a poor experience and we would not stay here again.

They messed up our booking. I booked over 2 months ago. They called us the day of and said they are fully booked for our booking. They offered to give is 2 rooms, instead of the one we booked. Of course, since it is the same day, we didn’t have any choice but separate our family way with young kids. They can do better with focusing appropriately.

I love staying there but this time it was not up to standards. The lady when I checked in was not friendly. She barely looked at me. Asked me rudely my name, number and email. She was not welcoming at all. At the end of the transaction I personally told her I hope she has a better day. She reluctantly said thank you. Let alone did she ever say hello or have a nice stay. The room was good. Fridge was loud and so was the bed. Other than that, everything was fine. I’m more upset with the customer service

Reasonable priced hotel in easy to get to location. Hallways smelt like animal urine. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Did the job for the weekend.

Even though there are no cross walks or walking paths, the area is well lit and traffic isn’t too dangerous. Simeon at the desk is very professional and courteous. Room is spacious with mini kitchen which I didn’t expect. Starbucks and KT is close by for breakfast needs.

We stayed for two nights and the hotel is reasonably clean and comfortable. Location is good, right off the freeway. Only complaint was that the stairway (which I used often due to how slow the elevator was) had a bad smell, kinda like pet urine. But overall, it was a good stay.

We really enjoyed the stay! The rooms were clean, well stocked, and close to a few restaurants and gas stations. The staff was also incredibly friendly and professional. We will only be staying there for all future visits. You made 2 South Carolinians very happy!!

Loved being close to Milwaukee without being in the busy city. It was very quiet in this area and it was very easy to get on the Interstate so we will definitely stay here again!

Excellent price, clean, relatively new. Has a kitchenette with full sized frig plus ice maker. Coffee maker, toaster, stove and micro. No breakfast, but that's ok. McD's just down the street. And a TV with a guide that actually works.

Amazing value but you’re getting a 2-star hotel. Free watery coffee and no maid service even after requesting it. Clean, quiet, safe. Nice stay.
