Had a lovely stay at this hotel. We found parking right out the front and stayed there overnight with no issues. The room was lovely and clean with a nice bathroom and comfy beds. The staff who showed us to our room was very kind and helpful and it was easy to come and go from the hotel with a unique access code. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Our room was perfect for three friends catching up for the weekend. Three double beds were perfect and the room was clean and airy. Plenty of tea and coffee and very reasonably priced drinks in the bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful Great location, easy walking access to Roath park and Cardiff city centre. Parking available on the road. Only comment was it was quite noisy from the pub and road noise, but we had the windows open as so warm. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value hotel about a mile from the city centre. Doors are all combination so there is no worry about losing the key. Room had to be reprogrammed but the staff did this quickly and cheerfully. Very helpful and welcoming.

Clean room & bathrooms. Comfortable bed & amazing flexibility as it’s a 24hr, you can come & go as you please. Parking on the street right outside the building too. Would definitely stay again!

Room was clean and well presented. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. On street parking is difficult but they allowed us to park in the rear yard. We didn’t have breakfast but it smelt good. Beds were comfy if a bit too soft but that’s personal preference. Would have been nice if people staying upstairs hadn’t decided to be so heavy footed when walking around in the night but that’s not hotels fault.

Great hotel for a bade to easily get into Cardiff City. On street parking was free and right outside the hotel which swung it for us! Bar downstairs was OK. The pool table was for over 16s which would have been good to know before booking. Lovely hosts and clean, comfortable accommodation.

A very enjoyable stay. Room clean, basic & all mod cons. A fan in the room proved invaluable in the hot weather. Had lunch & a drink in the pub below. Very friendly. Didn't hear any noise at night but was on the top floor. Great location & anly a 20 minute walk to Cardiff city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was small but very clean. We were able to get a beverage at the pub downstairs but too loud music and too many drunks was not our first choice after a long day. The neighbourhood was run down and very dirty. We had booked a two night stay and left after the first. Not close to city center but that was my bad for not doing more research.

I can’t fault The Crofts Hotel. The service was brilliant. Lovely friendly team. The room was spacious, modern and clean, the breakfast was delicious with proper bacon instead of the cheap thin bacon you get some places. The whole experience offered excellent value for money. I will definitely stay again:

I particularly liked the ultra comfortable bed & the quiet ..I needed good sleep! Lovely ensuite. Very clean. The room itself a bit utilitarian, not homely, grey, but that didn't matter for a good price & comfy bed. Lovely & warm, turned the radiator down! Bustling street with great family style restaurants nearby, spoilt for choice. The only negative were the very small glass for water & v small mug for tea.

Most comfortable bed we have slept in in England so far, and low pillows which were perfect. Upstairs hallway had a slightly odd smell, but room was fine. A little bit of noise from downstairs but not enough to keep us awake. Good value.

The room and bathroom decorated to a high standard. The room was small, double bed again the wall on one side and only room for a small bedside table which was full of tea making items. Had to put the pillows on the corner of the bed against the wall in order to watch the tv which was mounted high up. I have travelled round the whole of wales on my bicycle and this was the only place I had a problem.

Spotless!! Nice white bedding. Bathroom shower very powerful. Reasonably priced. No noise from the pub. Will definitely stay again. Only 2 minor comments. Room a little small and tv too high on the wall to be comfortable to watch.

Jackie made my stay very nice, she was so welcoming, a very lovely lady. I was staying there due to my husband having surgery at the Heath. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends mainly due to staff being so nice and friendly.

Having no reception was a problem and I have stayed in many places at checkout time there’s been a person to talk about any extra time required. The staff here are rude because they just want to chuck you out 10am I am disabled and I just needed that bit more time I won’t be coming back again!

I arrived quite late and went into the pub downstairs to ask how to access the hotel. The woman behind the bar was so helpful and friendly and walked me round to the entrance and explained everything to me thoroughly, despite the fact it was horrible weather outside. I was on the top floor and the room was extremely clean, with a roll top bath and extremely comfortable bed. I loved the fact they even have Oatly milk with the tea tray, something most expensive hotels don't have, nevermind a room that cost me under £40. I was really pleased with my stay and would highly recommend.

Staff were helpful and the room was newly decorated with comfy bed, good quality shower and good TV plus a kettle with tea, coffee etc. Some facilities in the room such as iron, mini fridge and hair dryer would be good. A little bit of noise from other guests when they were in the hall, but this didn't disterb me much. There is a high street 10 mins walk away, but not so close to a park. Quite close to the university but a little further from city center. I would stay again as its good value. Plus easy to check in and out whenever you need to with a code. The location also means some free parking close by, as not in the city center.

Really loved my stay here. Booked last minute for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour at Principality Stadium. Took me around 25 minutes to get to the stadium and felt very safe as a solo female walking back after dark. My room was very clean and looked brand new. Nice amenities and comfy bed! The breakfast was delicious and the ladies working there were so kind.

My 8 year old "it's really nice. The beds are really comfy and there is a nice few. When you wake up you can smell their nice food cooking" an excellent nights stay. You should definitely go 5 stars

Overnight for uni visit. Booked two single rooms. Rooms had been recently refurbished so confition was excellent. Located 15 min walk for centre shops. Booked cooked breakfast which was cooked fresh and was very tasty and set us up for the day. Check in easy and was able to park for free in local streets.
