Comfort Inn & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey West

Everything was excellent with the surprise problem of extremely limited parking space. DO NOT bring a trailer!!

The pool was disappointing since it looked way bigger in the pictures. Plus, the noise from people stumbling around at night kept me up.

Stayed here for a softball tournament weekend in nearby Palmyra. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean. The free breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. the pool was very small but it cooled us off. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is a 9.5 out of 10, it needs more parking or perhaps just better plowing of snow, the parking lot is very small for the number of rooms and this was made worse by the snow being piled up in several parking spaces making them useless. Other than the parking issue, this place was awesome.

The property was conveniently located which was very helpful. On the other hand there was only one way in and out of the parking lot which was less convenient.

the entrance and exit of the property is not the easiest to navigate. parking is limited. the staff However are wonderful.

Quick overnight stay to visit Hershey's Chocolate World. Breakfast was really good. Staff friendly. Beds were not the most comfortable. And the pool was really not worth advertising (a large jacuzzi would be a better description). Parking was limited and not much room in the rain for getting in the entrance with shallow covering.

Parking lot is real small entrance is hard to see and you can't get through if ppl are loading or unloading

Short stay to Hersheypark, checked in late, front staff very friendly and even gave us an ice cream sandwich. Room was nice, pool area needs some attention.

Property did not feel super clean, and we had someone else’s leftovers in our microwave when we checked in.

Property and rooms were immaculate. Easy check in and friendly staff, close to everything.

The parking was terrible, we walked into our room and couldn't get the door opened because the floor has huge bubble in the center of the floor, Volume didn't work on the TV, light in the bathroom didn't work and strobed causing myself and others with instant headaches, chipped paint everywhere and black hairs all over the toilet and pubes all over the tub. It's not like we could just get another hotel anywhere else because of the event over the weekend. Will not recommend anyone to stay at your hotel

The hotel was disgusting, the shower had hair in it from previous person staying. The floor was noisy kids were running around ding dong ditching at 9:30 yelling in halls. We called front desk and asked them to clean the room because it never was cleaned and for noise complaint but noisy continued.

We had high hopes but the breakfast wasn’t good. Eggs weren’t edible. Upon check-in we noticed dark red spots and body hair on the bathroom door. So gross. We should have immediately told the manager, but we were so hungry and tired, we wiped it down ourselves. We did mention it when we checked out. The manager owner tried to make it a nice place, but one thing overlooked can ruin a stay.

Super clean. Great condition. Stellar service. Delicious, fresh breakfast. Pretty much perfect!

Old furnitures & broken door knobs. The bathroom tub had mold all over. First time staying at Comfort Inn & definitely last time too.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. The walls had boogers, hair was all over molded tub, the television didn’t work. Will not stay again.

When into bathroom it had hair all over floor, room smelt like mildew, large spots all through carpet from entrance to room. Hotel smelled awful.

Starting to appear a little rundown. IMHO this property will look just like the filthy Econolodge across the street in 4-5 years if they don't stay on top of repairs. Rooms are starting to turn and look "shoddy".

Owner operator was very nice and attentive. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Room had a giant hump in the floor from one side to the other, had to pull the door shut to get it to close.

The stairwell had several spiders and the room had a lot of patched holes and chipped paint. The room keys stopped working a few times during our stay as well.

The floor was sunk in by the door and upheaved. The door to the room only opens part way. The floor has shifted and the door cannot open. The floor is shifted upward half way through the room. The bathroom door also does not open and or close due to the floor.

Walls and floor are very thin and guests were very loud.

The front desk receptionist left much to be desired when checking in. The rooms need updating as there were several places on the walls and ceilings that had messed up areas around them. The breakfast was mediocre. Scrambled eggs, old bread for toast, yogurt, and a guy watching your every move.

Room was nice, beds comfortable, lots of pillows. bathroom was clean except a few areas, and in need of a little tlc/mntc. Standard breakfast. Coffee not so great. Overall very good for the $ and convenient to the highway.

It's a decent hotel and as described. The bathtub should be repainted and renewed, but it's been comfortable

We had a nice stay for 1night as a rest on our trip to NC. Our room was clean & the front desk personnel who checked us in was friendly & kind. We went to sleep shortly after. I woke early (around 4:30am maybe as the sun was not up) in the morning to banging. Come to find out the breakfast room is on the other side of the wall from our room. I only mention this to assist anyone else who is given room 101. If you are not an early riser I would suggest trying to request another room. Unfortunately bad placement of a hotel room. The only other thing is that I was really worried when parking because the parking spaces are very narrow. The parking lot is not real large so I get why they are narrow. Just unfortunate but a positive that there is included parking at all.

The property was clean and well maintained. However, the staff is lackluster at answering phones and maintenance requests - my AC/heating unit died and it took four requests to even get someone to look at it who couldn't fix it. They said they'd switch me to a new room but I didn't hear back from them. Reaching out was fruitless and I was stuck in a freezing room in December for two days. At checkout when I brought this up, they said they were booked; that's understandable but the lack of communication on the matter was inexcusable.

The clerk at the front desk was AWFUL. I didn't catch the man's name but he was a younger Indian (Bengali?) gentleman. (The older Indian guy who was the morning clerk was fantastic) The young clerk couldnt find my name and started telling me "You came to the wrong hotel" with an annoyed attitude. He even kept repeating it after i confirmed the address. it just seemed like he wanted the conversation to end so he could go finish watching TV in the back. he told me i had to have hotels.com call him. The email confirmation i had wasn't enough. Eventually i got a rep from hotels.com to call but I ended up having to translate for the clerk b/c the woman on the phone couldn't understand his english. At this point in the conversation I have been nothing but nice and reasonable and have not made any accusations. After i suggest he search by my phone number he finds that two women have checked been checked into my room. I confirm that I have no idea who they are and the hotels.com lady confirms the room is paid for. At this point this front desk clerk calls the woman staying in my reserved room and starts asking questions attempting to get to the bottom of it. I translate again and he has me, the hotels lady, and the other hotel guest just listening to him investigate. He kept saying it wasn't his fault but I never said it was. I had to scream "I don't care! please give me a room, I have somewhere I need to be!" He was WAY too focused on not being blamed and really wasted my time.

Feels clean and fresh. Loves the high ceilings. Friendly staff. The manager greets guests in the lobby in the morning with a big smile.

Great area close to everything. Check in and out was very easy. Only downside was there was rarely anyone at the front desk. Upon arrival I had to wait 5+ minutes because there was no one there and I went to switch out my remote for the tv since it wasn’t working but couldn’t since there was no one there. Overall I would stay there again it was a good size room for the price paid

Didn't like anything. There was absolutely no service. After a eight hour drive had to stand at the front desk for 30 minutes to get checked in. Management next morning was very blase about the lack of service when I complained. Stay next door at the Fairfield instead.

People congregated in another room and were super loud until 4am!! Also couldn’t block the light from the window at night. Had to wait to check-in until the housekeeping lady found someone to check me in (who apparently decided to leave the premises for a break). The housekeeping ladies were great, however, and the room and breakfast area was very clean. Based on all the issues, though, I will not stay at this hotel again.

The general manager here offered exceptional hospitality to our family during our stay.

Highly recommend!! Friendly staff and owner patrolled the area looking for suggestions on how to improve our stay. Coffee was very good.

Close to the Pa farm show

Hotel was at the top of a hill, so was a little more difficult for walking. However, I was able to easily get to the sidewalk and visit the restuarants/ convenience store and the bottom of the hill pretty easily. The staff were helpful, and the room was clean and in very good shape. The location meant it was about a 10-15 minute drive from Harrisburg downtown. Overall, would stay there again if I was in Harrisburg.

The clerk at check in was disinterested and gave no info on services e.g. breakfast times and the unusual way to turn the tv on. The breakfast was out of coffee, eggs, milk so we had to wait for the hostess to bring things out or to be made. Granted it was a crowded busy hotel but they could anticipate that.

The entrance was hard to find. No sign to say where to check in; just a red sliding door. Not even a decal on the door to say Comfort Inn or Welcome, come on in. We didn't care for the sign at breakfast about food must be eaten in the breakfast area and the manager hovering to ensure that. The room was comfortable for a night's stay.

Hotel lobby and halls too warm, room , doors warped need Wd40 shower slippery. Breakfast was aweful, not enough options especially dietary restrictions, food was cold

Convenient to dining and was only about 10 minutes very easy drive to the Farm Show Complex. Excellent breakfast.
