Residence Inn by Marriott Harrisburg North

First a foremost there was trash in the shower upon checkin and the bathroom was clearly not cleaned, there is mildew and dirt in the shower and the tiles which is plainly disgusting. Secondly the ladies in the evening shift were plan rude and need way better customer service and hospitality skills. The bar was not open as it should be. The shampoo conditioner and soap were all empty there were dirty rags left in the shower. The checkin lady was clearly told we had our Service animal and she charged for a pet which again she was told three times service animal. Hippa rights were violated by the nest checkin lady with an attitude by stating and insulating the service animal was a support animal and had to be told again it was. A service animal not a support dog or pet. The money charged to the cats overdrafted my bank account and I am now being charged fees. The breakfast cereal was stale and the waffle mix was not replaced the bananas were green and uneatiable. The bed was so uncomfortable we left at 11pm 13 hrs before check out. There was no sheets pillows or blankets for the pull out couch and black stains on the mattress. There was one towel and a floor mat with dirt on it nonwas rags and one hand towel. No dish soap rag or sponge for washing dishes no dishwasher pods the fridge was dirty and the conscience store has very little to buy from. The advertisement stated a spa fitness center and outdoor pool none of which were on site and the indoor pool was dirty.

Couple of things. Couldn't find the entrance when I first arrived. Went around and around. There's no sign for the entrance, as other hotels do. Also I swam for 50 minutes but your pool water is REALLY HOT. Hottest pool I've ever been. Almost like a hot tub

Great staff and property. Only small complaint was there were a few areas in our room that needed a better maintenance finishes. And basketball court hoop was broken. Overall though great place with incredible staff. Was even able to check in several hours early after a red eye flight into town. Would definitely stay here again.

The Most Unusual Experience Ever! A Lifetime Movie To Be Exact! The Staff Was Simply Amazing! I Had An Issue And They Staff Was More Than Helpful! The Hotel Was Very Cozy And Clean! Fabulous Family Atmosphere. They Have A Fire Pit, A Indoor Pool, Fitness Room, and an Outdoor Basketball Court. The Rooms Very Spacious, With Full Kitchen, King Size Bed, Pull Out Queen Sofa, Huge Working Desk! Modern Furniture, Huge Walkin Bathroom. NICE MIRRORS! AND LIGHTING!

Overall good, but some disconnects. Check-in delayed b/c desk person also the bartender. Bedroom TV wasn’t hooked into cable. Couldn’t fix b/c no staff on hand. I had to figure it out. Shower had 2 body washes, one conditioner, and no shampoo. Ceiling lights in hallway had all different shades of white/yellow bulbs (whatever was on sale, I suppose).

Basketball court, swimming pool, gym and the room we had was amazing! The staff were so helpful and nice!

Amazing stay from start to finish. Check in was a breeze and they were very informative about what time everything closes (breakfast, laundry, pool, gym, bar). Always a smile on the front desks face and the cleaning staff also greeted me and asked how my stay was going. The room was amazing and was very comfortable and clean! Nice and quiet even during spring break. No traffic noise. Breakfast was really good! A lot of options and the cooks kept bringing everything out as it started to run low. My family and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

The staff was friendly. The pool was open and in good condition. The breakfast was ok. The cleanliness of the room could hav been a little better. I would condsider staying again.

I really enjoy staying at Residence Inn properties when I travel. This is the first one I\'ve stayed at where things were less than stellar. Pros: Everything worked. Great appliances. The kitchen had all the stuff: plates, silverware, utensils. The HVAC system for this room was superb. It was over 90 degrees outside every day I stayed there and that thing kept it cold enough to hang meat in the room. All shower dispensers were fully filled. Toilet rolls were Angel Soft Commercial brand, a fine step up from the Scott sandpaper that is typically provided. This location has a bar in the lobby. Not all of them do. Bed was excellent. Cons: The carpet in the room clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. I walk around barefoot in my room. The carpet made my feet dirty, creating a muddy river in the shower when I washed up at the end of the day. I had a late flight out and so really pushed my departure to within an hour of checkout time. Two hours before that, housekeeping was knocking on the door wanting to clean the room for the next arrival. I felt rushed. The maid (who was friendly enough) waited outside my door until I checked out. I was triple-charged for premium WiFi. I mentioned this at checkout, saying, "I\'m not going to make a fuss over $15, but I see what you did there." Only proposed remedy from the front desk clerk was a blank stare. This is the only Residence Inn property that I can say I\'ll not stay at again, and I\'ve been to plenty.

I love the place. Comfortable and safe. There was only one thing I didn’t like. The shower there was areas of black mold. Its needs a good cleaning. Other than that we love our stayed. I most said we barely heard any noise which it was nice.

The room had not be well cleaned. Glasses spotty. Found 22 cents on the floor. Extra blanket in a heap on the floor in the closet. No soap in the shower dispenser. The room was quiet. Heat system ran quietly. Two huge teen birthday parties were going on when I checked in. A noisy zoo but that fortunately didn't carry up to rooms. Second stay here. Last year the place was cleaner.

We had situations that were not resolved that involved a door that did not lock properly, a room that had not been properly cleaned, no clean towels. One of the rooms in our group was fine but the other room was problem after problem. The assistant manager was on duty but did not make herself available to assist us. Doors in facility are easily pushed open from the outside accessories in the bathroom were properly installed so tissue kept falling on the floor. I have stayed at the Marriott many times over years and never issues like these.

Suite was nice and the bed was very comfy. The shower needed cleaning, however. There was hair around the drain (under the removable drain cover) that hasn’t been cleaned before our stay. The staff was friendly and the outside fire pit was cozy. I wish I had booked more than one night!

Great water pressure also nice and hot. Lobby was clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful, check in was seamless. We travelled with a friend and she had a separate room that had some type of small bugs all over the window sill her room was changed immediately her next room was like our room Cobb webs not very clean some cosmetic repairs were done poorly. Lackluster bathroom amenities lotion hand soap etc.. continental breakfast was standard. The noise level of other guest was out of hand at 4am. I was in Hershey

Front desk representative was in nightgown hugging a pillow while watching a movie on her phone upon our arrival to check in. Friendly, just a strange experience. Room upgraded due to sink issue. Family above us was up walking loudly until after 2am, dog barking most of the evening/night.

Love our suite. So spacious and well appointed.

While the room was very nice, the mattress was a little too stiff for me. My back can be a little picky. Other than that, our stay was very nice.

Despite the building looking new, our room was not well maintained. Door is not balanced and doesn’t close well. Bathroom sink is clogged. Toilet paper holder is loose. Despite requesting maintenance and room service, no one showed up.

The mattress desperately needs to be replaced!!!!!

Convenient location. Room was spacious but laid out a little different than expected from pics. Room showed minimal wear & tear but overall clean and comfortable. OK especially for a quick 1 night stay. Nice lobby for breakfast. Paid $7 for 1 water and 1 gatorade which seemed a little excessive to me.

Staff was super friendly and helpful and when your staying with your family makes things super easy. Coming in with 2 kids 2 years and under it can be a little chaotic trying to balance things they made it super easy.

Arrival was great. We were accommodated with early check in. Breakfast was average American hot breakfast fare. Rooms were decent size with two bath and two beds. We asked for house keeping each day, but service was not provided. Likely understaffed.

Horrible check in process. Was told parking was free/included. She handed me a 25 dollar coupon that only lasts 24 hours. Room not like pictures. Staff unfriendly and rude. Room keys didn’t work

Reggie was amazing at check in and very responsive when TV wouldn’t work. Room was clean and bed was comfortable although a heftier comforter would be nice and better pillows. Shower and bath were very clean and functioned well. Breakfast was a bit disappointing however…not much offered that was fresh and oatmeal tasted like glue paste.

Located right off I-81, convenient. In a safe and quiet neighborhood. Hotel in excellent condition. Check-in staff, Reggie, the nicest ever, very genuinely caring and considerate. The lobby inviting. The room in perfect condition and no smell. Gosh it is hard to find a hotel room these days that doesn't smell. The bed comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. The breakfast excellent.

The staff was professional, courteous and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. We always stay at Residence Inn.

Overall clean, convenient, pleasant staff. The only glitch was with breakfast. It was the weekend the place was packed. If you didn't get to breakfast early it was slim pickings. Not even coffee one morning.

The hotel was overall mediocre. While I was checking in I asked the front desk if they could match their own price since the price of our room went down a bit online and was told they could not do that for me even know a room was available. They had no extra sheets or pillows for the pull out bed. Breakfast was good.
