It’s in the city which is what I wanted. It’s a 5min taxi drive to city centre old town. It’s has a great hot and cold breakfast. It has a lunch and dinner menu which is great as there’s no restaurants surround the ibis. The ibis has a convenience shop next door which is a life saver if you need water and snacks. The ibis has good WiFi. A good outdoor area in front of the hotel. Reception staff were so kind and helpful. The room was comfy and had a safe and a kettle but sadly no milk. I will be return ibis again.

My friend and I stayed here for 4/5 days… we found the images to be very misleading. There is no cocktail garden as in the pictures, but a smoking patio on a very noisy street.. with broken paving outside under repair… I have never stayed in a hotel that had such dirty carpet! Full of spills and stains.. I found it quite disgusting. Check in was smooth, my room was bigger than my friends who paid extra for a supreme room… however the rooms are not as fresh as seen in the pictures.. They didn’t have a wine opener for customer use, and I was met with disapproval for wanting to take wine glasses to my room… over all, no I could not recommend.

Stayed here for 4 nights and was very disappointed. I had booked the superior room and what I got was not even close. Two people at the front desk said I would be upgraded the day after my arrival. This did not happen. The room was incredibly small I was told I had a superior room because it was directly opposite the elevator. This was just the beginning of the ongoing lying the staff do here. My friend booked a regular room which was cheaper and much larger than mine and away from the elevator. I never received the free welcome drink only nonsuperior rooms get that. The noise was so loud due to ongoing construction directly in front of hotel. The construction is in the non-existent garden area. Hopefully my photos will show how this place was costly and offered nothing. If you are offered the superior room 515 leave, check into a new hotel. Hopefully the new hotel will have honest staff with some sort of customer service. If I good give this a -5 I would.

Hotel was nice and clean and quiet. Location was convenient, with a tram stop across the street and short, easy access to get to the train station. Check in was quick and easy. We had a late arrival but reception accommodated us without any problem and restaurant even slightly extended cut off time for breakfast so that we could relax, select our food and eat without too much rush. Thank you to all of your staff for being so friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and at reception.

Excellent hotel in a good location midway between the Bucharest North railway station and the city centre. Great staff, helpful and friendly. Restaurant really good for breakfast and dinner. Very happy with my stay.

nuestra habitación estuvo muy bien, amplia y con buenos implementos...no te fies del despertador, asegúrate con tu móvil. el desayuno muy bueno con todo lo necesario para arrancar tu día y además tienen rerstaurante con muy buenas opciones...tienen servicio de taxi que puede llegar entre 2 y 10 minutos aprox...algo alejado del centro pero caminando está aprox en 22 minutos que se pasan muy rápido ya que vas viendo la ciudad. Está muy cerca a la estación de tren aprox a 13 minutos y tiene una tienda al costado con todo para comprar...nos guardaron las maletas al dejar el hotel y las recogimos por la noche..

Hôtel facile d'aces depuis l'aéroport en train puis soit à pied (10-15:mn) ou tramway (5 mn). Bâtiment neuf. Personnel sympa. Belle grande chambre sur "cours" car l'immeuble est l'angle d'un boulevard passager. Le PDJ est bien avec un grand choix. En revanche, ma chambre a été nettoyée la première nuit mais les deux autres, le strict miniums. (couette remise en place vite fait et coup d'éponge rapide dans la sdb). Pas très grave mais assez curieux pour Ibis style car toujours impeccable dans n'importe quel pays !

Stayed for the second time at this hotel. They payed attention to my special requests for which I appreciate and give them high credit. Room and bath were spotless clean, only shortcomings were the stained fitted carpet and the clogged sink. Personally I prefer parquet/laminate/tiled floor, given the fact that a fitted carpet acts as a magnet for bacteria and odour. Cable-TV was of excellent quality on a big screen and offered a huge amount of local and international channels. It is remarkable that a lot of channels and movies are in English with Romanian subtitles. Breakfast buffet offered fresh and delicious options including various local foods. Will keep in mind the buttery juicy scrambled eggs, smoky bacon and thin sausages. Tomatoes were fresh and juicy, however tasteless as ever. The freshly brewed coffee from the self-service machines was remarkably aromatic. Plenty of vegetarian options and bread variations. Staff displayed a somewhat stern attitude, however they treated me courteously and were eager to help.

Spent 6 nights there. Perceived the indoor fragrance in the lobby as sweetish, heavy and penetrating, kind of like Middle Eastern perfume. For me it was utterly unpleasant. They payed attention to all my requests concerning the room. Check-in pretty easy. Room featured a magnificent view to the south of the town and was spotless clean and the bathroom equipment top-notch. The stained fitted carpet was a shortcoming. The lateral main road is quite noisy, however it’s bearable with the window closed. Breakfast buffet is pretty rich and varied, although it offers pretty standard industrially processed staple. The freshly ground coffee is an asset. Juices are way too sweet and feature an artificial flavour. Enjoyed the juicy buttery scrambled eggs with the smoky lean bacon. Lots of veg options and fruits. Tomatoes were cruncy but tasteless. Nice spread of local cheeses. Baguettes and buns were crispy and delicious. There’s a Nutella barrel with tap. Weather permitted, guests can breakfast on the outdoor terrace. They were courteous to allow me to check out at 1pm. Due to distraction I forgot to put into my luggage some vacuum-packed smoked local specialities which I stored in the fridge a day before. Figured out the omission as I arrived home. Wrote them a message asking to send the stuff to my home address. They answered promptly stating that „perishable“ material would be dumped straight away. I'd consider that option again.

A great hotel and ideal base for a weekend exploring Bucharest. The hotel was mainly clean but I felt like the housekeeping could have been more thorough - a vacuum or a sweep here or there because things got dusty after a few days. The reception team are not the friendliest (compared to other people in the hotel) but it's not stay changing or the end of the world.

During my stay, I was given a room with a broken bathroom door. The night clerk told me there were no more rooms available, but I saw him give a room to another guest who arrived after me, which felt unfair. The ventilation in my room was very noisy all night, and I couldn’t sleep properly — I woke up with swollen, red eyes. I was given a handicapped room. I'm not wheelchair bound. It was a room for someone in a wheelchair. I'm 6'5". The room was hot. Turn on AC and it was still hot. Open outside door and it was still hot. It was not a comfortable room at all. Everything else was great though. Waitress, bartender was excellent. Nicoleta exceeded expectations.

The room felt very cramped, more like a slightly upscale youth hostel style. It’s all right for an overnight stay. On the plus side, we had a quiet and clean room, and the breakfast was very good and included a great variety of items. Located within walking distance from the Cismigiu park and the downtown area. Very nice front desk staff.

Good property, nicely decorated rooms, if a little on the small side. Bathroom compact yet functional, my room was on the top floor and even had a little balcony! Mini fridge and tea and coffee facilities included. Air con wasn’t great as only put out hot air… Would definitely recommend though - 15 min walk from central station, tram stops directly outside and there’s a metro station a 10 min walk away.

Stayed only one night. Hotel is fine and in line with the IBIS standards. Food is good (pasta a bit overcooked but I am italian and my standard are very high) and breakfast excellent for the price. If I have to make a complaint it is about heating, far too warm in the room but luckily I opned the big window door and bring temperature to my latitudes. Staff very nice and efficient.

Breakfast was insufficient, with huge tour groups in the hotel there was nothing when you came down at 8:30am. The room - standard - had an autoclosing door which was horrible to use the bathroom and you can hear your neighbour slam the bathroom door so be prepared not to sleep. I emailed the hotel directly with no response post my visit and also messaged via expedia to advise ETA and also no response. Poor service for such a big hotel chain and do not recommend staying here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights and was very disappointed. I had booked the superior room and what I got was not even close. Two people at the front desk said I would be upgraded the day after my arrival. This did not happen. The room was incredibly small I was told I had a superior room because it was directly opposite the elevator. This was just the beginning of the ongoing lying the staff do here. My friend booked a regular room which was cheaper and much larger than mine and away from the elevator. I never received the free welcome drink only nonsuperior rooms get that. The noise was so loud due to ongoing construction directly in front of hotel. The construction is in the non-existent garden area. Hopefully my photos will show how this place was costly and offered nothing. If you are offered the superior room 515 leave, check into a new hotel. Hopefully the new hotel will have honest staff with some sort of customer service. If I good give this a -5 I would.

Reception staff were helpful. Check in was quick and was given a room at 2 PM even though check in began at 3 PM since one was cleaned and available. I was given another key without any problems when I left mine in the room. Quiet neighborhood with several food stores/shops very close by to get the usual toothpaste, sugar, milk, beer... etc. Capability to order bolt for transportation. Breakfast was included in the price and was sumptuous and very good with eggs (scrambled or boiled), meats, cheeses, sausage, potatoes, tea, coffee..... the works. Restaurant downstairs was pleasant to sit in and have breakfast. Room was clean, shower had hot and cold water, everything functioned as desired. The only limitation was that the subway (underground metro) was about 1 km walk (eroilor), but got to see the city that way as well. Der Straßenlärm war leider sehr laut in den Zimmern zu hören. Unser Zimmer ging jedoch auch direkt zur Straße hinaus. Ansonsten super Lage. Freundliches Personal und einwandfreier Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück könnte etwas vielfältiger sein.
