Avon City Motel

The owner is a really nice lady and the garden is beautiful and well taken care of. A few things to point out: 1. Three of us stayed but only two towels and shampoo were given to us in the room. As we checked in late, we didn’t bother to ask for an extra. That’s something I don’t want to worry about after a long day. 2. A light on the kitchen wall wasn’t working and as the numbers on the stove were faded, it was hard to see if it was on high or low and which hob was on. 3. The skylight in the living room should be able to close. There is a bed underneath and I was woken up by the light. There is no point of having blackout curtains if the morning light is coming through from the ceilings. 4. I couldn’t find the key box or anyone at the front desk upon the checkout. I just left the key on the desk. (I hope you got it) I hope you can use those feedbacks in the future.

Gorgeous spot, beautiful gardens and super friendly staff. Highly recommend would 100% stay again. Thank you.

I would have to say this was the best, most friendly motel my wife and I have ever stayed in and could not have been more convenient as we were there from Melbourne to visit my brother in Summerset retirement village for his 88 birthday.
