The owners are the absolute most kind people you could ever meet the room was spotless and absolutely amazing. The onsite gated parking was great. Highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lodge. Although the building must be very old and historical, it was recently renovated. The bedroom has a lovely bathroom with a walking shower. I loved that the shower had ample water flow with the combination of rain shower heads. The location has excellent free parking and is about 15 minutes away from the downtown area by foot. This year, they didn't serve breakfast, so we walked to Cafe Artysans for breakfast. They respond via text very quickly, so I appreciate the excellent communication. Hotels.com shows this property as 3 Stars, and Google shows it as 5 Stars. It may be a good idea to have a consistent rating for both. Overall, I truly enjoyed the stay and will definitely return!

Superb b & b ran by a very friendly couple. The house is well positioned to walk into the city centre which takes less than 15 minutes. Spacious car park on site which is free. Room was excellently decorated & equipped, bed was roomy & comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. A brilliant base to explore Inverness & the surrounding area. Will definitely return to this outstanding place.

This is a really high quality B&B. My room was a nice size, top quality amenities, spotlessly clean, very nice breakfast and very welcoming hosts. There is plenty of onsite parking, it's a short 10 mins walk into the centre of Inverness. I stayed here at the beginning of my 'NC500' road trip and I will stay there again in a few days time at the end of my trip.

I started my road trip 'North coast 500' from this B&B and yesterday I finished it there. Really the best B&B on my journey and certainly not the most expensive. A beautiful place to stay about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Everything of a high standard and impeccably clean. Only con was that they no longer provide breakfast which was not clear on the app when booking and I found this out too late to cancel..

This was my favorite place of my trip. It was really nice for the price. The rooms were perfectly staged and set up. The remodels were immaculate and the design was gorgeous. So well done in every way, I wish I would’ve had more time here! Definitely would come back!

Lovely well maintained property but had booked for breakfast only to be told once we'd arrived that they weren't providing it as there weren't enough guests??!! Otherwise can't fault the property and it was SO quiet.

My husband and I were visiting Inverness for one night on our trip to Scotland and this was a fabulous stay. We were greeted on arrival with easy check in. The property itself is a beautifully restored old house. The bathroom and shower is spa-like, large space and great location (about 10 min walk from town). We really enjoyed our stay.

Likes: The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The cooked to order breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is located in a residential area just 15 minutes away from shops and restaurants by foot. Dislike: We stayed in room 1 which is the smallest room at 108 square feet. It was a bit cramped, but we learned to adapt. The room is designed for two people, but it would be better suited for a solo traveler.

I had booked a room with a king bed upstairs and it was very comfortable, but I had messed up my arrival date and so we moved into a smaller room the next day. It too was very comfortable but less space and smaller bed. Parking and location were fine. Less than a one mile walk to town. And the breakfast was great. Host was very kind and gracious.

Elmira was beyond helpful and sweet. We loved our stay at Cambeth! We stayed for three nights while visiting Inverness from the USA. The room we stayed in was decorated so well it really made us feel welcome and cozy while having plenty of room for our suitcases and sovereigns for our three nights. Would definitely book if in the area again. We felt it was within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. Our average time was about 15 minutes to walk at a fairly average pace. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lodge. Although the building must be very old and historical, it was recently renovated. The bedroom has a lovely bathroom with a walking shower. I loved that the shower had ample water flow with the combination of rain shower heads. The location has excellent free parking and is about 15 minutes away from the downtown area by foot. This year, they didn't serve breakfast, so we walked to Cafe Artysans for breakfast. They respond via text very quickly, so I appreciate the excellent communication. This is a really high quality B&B. My room was a nice size, top quality amenities, spotlessly clean, very nice breakfast and very welcoming hosts. There is plenty of onsite parking, it's a short 10 mins walk into the centre of Inverness. I stayed here at the beginning of my 'NC500' road trip and I will stay there again in a few days time at the end of my trip.

My husband and I were visiting Inverness for one night on our trip to Scotland and this was a fabulous stay. We were greeted on arrival with easy check in. The property itself is a beautifully restored old house. The bathroom and shower is spa-like, large space and great location (about 10 min walk from town). We really enjoyed our stay.

The Cambeth Lodge was a short walk from Inverness’s city centre, which was perfect for finding places to eat. It’s about an hour drive from the far end of Loch Ness, at Fort Augustus, which makes exploring the lake easy, and it’s close to other historical sites of interest in Culloden and Fort George. The units are accessible by key and key fob and it’s a quiet place to stay in the area.

The Inn is absolutely gorgeous, loved staying there while in Inverness. Nice and quiet at night but a short walking distance to city centre as well as easy access to roads for day trips around the highlands and Loch Ness.

A beautiful place to stay about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Everything of a high standard and impeccably clean. Only con was that they no longer provide breakfast which was not clear on the app when booking and I found this out too late to cancel..

I must have been given the worst room. When i arrived there was no one to greet me. The owner's non english speaking mother mimed how to get in. It took her multiple tries & later I found that I was unable to open the stiff, heavy door. The window of the tiny roon was open on arrival. No flyscreen. I questioned whether there were midges. The owner emphatically said there were no midges. I said "if I have to close the window to block out traffic noise & for privacy, then it will be a heatbox ". (Scotland was experiencing a heatwave at the time). She gave me a fan. Trying to sleep with the window open resulted in many large red itchy swollen welts from midge bites. A pharmacist confirmed midge bites & advised anti histamine. The room was next to the large heavy front door, so noise from other guests early in the morning & late at night could be heard, plus the window faced on to the car park so there was noise from that source also & road traffic. The upstairs overhead room had sqeaking floorboards. The pillow was hard. A light in the "bathroom" stayed on so the door had to be closed, resulting in a stale musty damp smell. The "bathroom" was a sliver of cramped space. The smoke alarm emitted flashes similar to strobe approx. every 15secs. The kettle was place on top of a 4ft. high cupboard which was a very unsafe height to pour boiling water into tiny teacups. Breakfast had been mentioned in advertising & reviews but no longer available. Information needs to be updated.

Home away from home. Clean, comfortable, and quiet room with soothing shower. Excellent fresh-cooked breakfast with all the perfect selections. Easy check-in process directly walking into our room and leave the key and check out is done. Service top notch. Superb b & b ran by a very friendly couple. The house is well positioned to walk into the city centre which takes less than 15 minutes. Spacious car park on site which is free. Room was excellently decorated & equipped, bed was roomy & comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. A brilliant base to explore Inverness & the surrounding area. Will definitely return to this outstanding place.

Lovely well maintained property but had booked for breakfast only to be told once we'd arrived that they weren't providing it as there weren't enough guests??!! Otherwise can't fault the property and it was SO quiet.

Likes: The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The cooked to order breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is located in a residential area just 15 minutes away from shops and restaurants by foot. Dislike: We stayed in room 1 which is the smallest room at 108 square feet. It was a bit cramped, but we learned to adapt. The room is designed for two people, but it would be better suited for a solo traveler.

I had booked a room with a king bed upstairs and it was very comfortable, but I had messed up my arrival date and so we moved into a smaller room the next day. It too was very comfortable but less space and smaller bed. Parking and location were fine. Less than a one mile walk to town. And the breakfast was great. Host was very kind and gracious.

Off-street parking was welcome in Inverness. Comfy room, window opened only a little so I was too hot. Good blackout shutters, though. Nice bathroom, fluffy towels. Straight-line and level walk to the high street, where there are tons of restaurants and a Co-Op (grocery). Around 1/3 of a mile, I think, took about 10-15 min.
