This is the most dog friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed in. There are TWO fabulous dog play areas (for big and smaller dogs). Rooms are small but clean and well-appointed. Be aware that breakfast (included) is vegan.

This place is great even if you don’t have a pet with you. But, if you do, you’ll be amazed. The rooms are wonderful and thoughtfully designed. The dog park and spa are amazing to have especially if you’re hiking in the area. There’s also a free laundry are and a breakfast is included. Wish they had places like this everywhere!

Talk about “pet-friendly”! This was the pet-friendliest place we have ever seen! Snacks, bowls, dog-park and even a dog washing station. The staff are friendly, and there are great restaurants within walking distance. We will return!

The rooms were so cute amd clean and the dog run area was huge with grass, trees, benches and tennis balls for our dog to play with. Such a fun and cute place with the friendliest staff who gave us cookies and treats to our pup. They had board games you could borrow from the mercantile. Everything inside and outside was modern and darling.

We were really impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the pet facilities. Check-in was a tad chaotic (in part because everyone had pets), but once we were checked in it was a lovely stay. The dog run was fantastic and we heard from another guest that the dog spa was wonderful, though we didn’t use it. The location of the hotel is convenient, with most of the restaurants and shops in walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again!

This place is phenomenal. Anyone traveling with fur babies would love it too. Staff all welcomed the animals. The room, grounds, dog run, mercantile, complimentary breakfast were ALL outstanding. They even have a splash pad for the pups 🐶 We will be staying here again and for sure will visit the sanctuary as well. A real love for our 4 legged friends shows everywhere.

We love this place. This is the third time we have stayed there, even without the dogs. It is new, updated, and clean. The staff is very friendly and we love to see people with their dogs around the property. Highly recommend it.

We had such a great experience here, the room was very clean, the dog areas are incredible, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our expectations were met and more. I would stay here even if we didn’t bring our dog. The coffee and breakfast was really great too. Thank you best friends roadhouse!

The rooms are beautiful and very well furnished with attention to detail for people and pets. The property is also meticulously landscaped and manicured - a great place to share with pets. Our only issue was that the Mitsubishi split A/C unit wasn't working well in our room and it was stuffy and too warm. The staff was very apologetic and said they're trying to get the units fixed that aren't working but are experiencing difficulty getting repair people out. The Mercantile is really nice with lots of cool Best Friends items for sale. The free complimentary breakfast is very nice, too, although it's vegan food only.

We absolutely adore this hotel. The rooms are large, well designed, clean and very comfortable. The staff are all extremely kind and efficient. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and took advantage of a free tour of the animal sanctuary with the incredible Stacee. This hotel is designed for travellers with pets and they have thought of everything. We will definitely be back.

Lovely property, comfortable beds, very tech advanced, super clean with two adorable and clean dog parks, one for bigger dogs and one for little dogs. The ‘breakfast’ was Vegan so we skipped it and went next door to the authentic French bakery which was a real treat.

Tough to evaluate. Super clean, nicely appointed (frette towels!) delightful gardens and so pet friendly! Downsides: smallish room, limited bathroom privacy. Very European. Would be awesome to see a seating area around the fireplace and waterfall. Would make for a more interactive and inviting experience.

This is the best hotel in Kanab! The property is nicely renovated in a Scandi style with generously proportioned rooms and bathrooms. The pictures online represent accurately what the rooms and the property look like. The best thing is that your pets are welcome and not a nuisance. They even have a pullout dog bed in the room. Although the property is on HW 89, the rooms are quiet, and we couldn't hear the traffic. If you are sensitive, they have earplugs in the room. The fenced dog run was an added bonus, as was the included breakfast. The breakfast is vegan, but the overnight oats were really fantastic. All together, a great value for the money. Will definitely stay there again!

Ceilings and walls are a bit thin you can hear everything. Best to be in second floor room. Cuz you’ll hear dogs jumping and running around. Barking for sure. But it’s a great property and well done.

Great hotel that supports an even better cause. 1 complaint is the gentleman who checked us in (suspect you know who). Very inattentive during checkin and was short with me when I asked a few questions about the property. He was worse several hours later when my wife inquired about the daily sanctuary tour. In the end everyone else was great so his poor customer service really stood out.

So clean and modern. Comfortable with blackout shades for good sleep. Absolutely loved all the dogs around, the shop, the landscaping, the vegan food. Tons of hiking,Bulkskin Gulch, Zion, Bryce, north Rim all so convenient. Most of all, the staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond our expectations. Wish we would have had more time!

Staff is exceptionally friendly. Not only did we feel appreciated as guest, but our daughters and our dogs were welcomed warmly. Property is very clean, modern design of room. We only wish they had more of these around the country, because it's literally the perfect hotel for a family traveling with dogs.

So clean and modern. Comfortable with blackout shades for good sleep. Absolutely loved all the dogs around, the shop, the landscaping, the vegan food. Tons of hiking,Bulkskin Gulch, Zion, Bryce, north Rim all so convenient. Most of all, the staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond our expectations. Wish we would have had more time!

This place was great and definitely the highlight of our trip to Kanab. The town itself, while conveniently located to many (national) parks, trails and sights, is not worth visiting. Very limited and overpriced dining options.

This is the best hotel in Kanab! The property is nicely renovated in a Scandi style with generously proportioned rooms and bathrooms. The pictures online represent accurately what the rooms and the property look like. The best thing is that your pets are welcome and not a nuisance. They even have a pullout dog bed in the room. Although the property is on HW 89, the rooms are quiet, and we couldn't hear the traffic. If you are sensitive, they have earplugs in the room. The fenced dog run was an added bonus, as was the included breakfast. The breakfast is vegan, but the overnight oats were really fantastic. All together, a great value for the money. Will definitely stay there again!

We were really impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the pet facilities. Check-in was a tad chaotic (in part because everyone had pets), but once we were checked in it was a lovely stay. The dog run was fantastic and we heard from another guest that the dog spa was wonderful, though we didn’t use it. The location of the hotel is convenient, with most of the restaurants and shops in walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again!

Grounds were spotless and we were treated to live music at their outdoor stage on Saturday evening. A great way to spend a few days exploring the area. Paradise for dog lovers and dog owners alike.

Beautiful facility. Love that it is pet friendly and the proceeds go to a great cause. Thought the included breakfast was a little lacking. All vegan choices. Would have been nice to have had non-vegan choices and access to microwave. Other than that loved the place.

This is the most dog friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed in. There are TWO fabulous dog play areas (for big and smaller dogs). Rooms are small but clean and well-appointed. Be aware that breakfast (included) is vegan.

The Hotel itself is absolutely first-rate. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay. Comfortable bed, well-designed room layout, very comfortable. The disappointment is that the advertised “breakfast cafe” is strictly vegan, so there is absolutely nothing at all that would interest anyone not also vegan: including no cream for your coffee, no milk for your latte, nothing. Thankfully, there is a bakery less than 500 feet from the hotel that has coffee, espresso, and non-vegan fare so that makes it all work out.

Such a unique hotel. If you’re travelling with a furry companion this is the perfect place. The staff were amazing. Very welcoming and friendly. We arrived at nearly 1am and someone was there ready to check us in. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is basic, but enough and had some snacks for hiking. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer to really enjoy this place. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying here. If only there could be more dog-centric lodging like this throughout the world. The details from the welcoming board, a decent size fenced green space for the dogs, pullout dog bed, buildings where dogs are welcome to join, layout of the entire complex and cleanliness of property throughout & there’s even a dog wash station open 24/7. There’s even a section dedicated to information of a partner rescue organisation with some great items for sale for both dogs as well as humans to support the org. They even had live outdoor music performance on a Saturday night! We would definitely come back again if we’re ever back in Kanab!
