Loved this hotel! Stayed for 4 days. Very clean, comfortable bed, modern, very good AC!!! Elevator that fit 3 people. Helpful staff. Netflix for down time. Close to many attractions and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Elías helped us check in and was great, very polite, and fast when we needed anything. The property is beautiful and has an elevator. Super close to Monastiraki square. Even though it’s on a busy st you don’t hear anything inside the rooms. Would stay here again

Quaint little eco-themed boutique hotel in the madness of Monastiraki. Sandwiched between Syntagma and Monastiraki stations so lots of transport options around the city and to the airport. Room is bigger than expected and sparsely yet smartly decorated. There's no closet but a neat little fixture to hang your clothes up on. In-room safe, modern climate unit and a fantastic bathroom with amazing lighting. No lobby area and the elevator is very timy but the staff is young and genuinely sweet, always saying hi and giving recommendations. This hotel added to my experience in Athens and I would stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staffs. Great location with easy access to major touristic attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Babysitting service was available upon request (20 euro per hour for 2 little kids) and transportation service to airport (extra charge) worked great for us.

Really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel and would highly recommend. Property is centrally located to everything you are going to want to see and is just 1 block from the metro station at Monastiraki Square. I arrived prior to the scheduled check-in time and they happily stored my luggage for me and had it delivered to my room prior to my later return. FYI... Based on other reviews mentioning the entrance being hard to find, I tried to find it ahead of time on street view in Google Earth, but couldn't as the photos were older. The property was actually easy to find with adequate signage. The only issue (minor) is that the door is perpetually locked, so they had to buzz me in before I had my key.

My stay was excellent! The self-check-in process was super easy and convenient, which made arrival very smooth. The room was spotless and well organized, and the space was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent, close to everything I needed. The staff was great, always friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again!

Location location location….walking distance to sights,food and shopping. Train station is 3min walk from hotel making it super convenient from airport. The only reason 4 stars for cleanliness was because they did not clean room on one of the days….no reception staff so hard to even get clean towels. Even though they provide a number to reach staff after hours no one picks up and email was only responded after 10hrs. I wish certain amenities like fresh towels could be left in reception area when not manned so that guests can help themselves. Other than that excellent.

Really good location. Close to acropolis, lots of restaurant choices, 3 minutes walk from metro to airport. Front desk very helpful but only there 10am to 6pm. Late check in worked fine but make sure you have data or the instructions downloaded. Ilĺy coffee machine Room was as pictured and felt roomy, bathroom is bizarre. Servicing was haphazard. Double glazing was effective - no street noise, but we had to turn off the fridge because it was making strange (loud) noises. Bottom line, we would stay again.

Staffs are very nice to explain everything I need to know, and thoughtful help for my need! very good service to reserve transportations from airport to hotel, to port. It is a great location for shopping, dinning. walkable distance to Acropolis museum! Room condition is good; but I do not expect to have ants & dust on the floor. Overall I like this hotel.

Amazing stay at Ciel suites. We booked the terrace suite and it was beautiful and so lovely to have the private terrace to relax on. Staff went above and beyond, would stay here again and recommend to anyone heading to Athens. Set midway between two metro stations, it was easy to access and walkable to all the sites.

Great central location in Athens. Property was in good condition, appeared recently renovated. Mezzanine Suite was quite noisy, both noise from the reception and from fans somewhere in the building.

Great boutique hotel near Monastiraki Square. Close to al the mass market shopping like H&M, Sephora etc. But also close to a local flea market featuring antiques. We used the hop on hop off bus that we were able to catch at the square or at the Parliament near by. Easy walk- about 15 minties to the Acropolis as well. Staff were great at suggesting things, arranging for taxi on our way to the airport. Room is clean and spacious. The only thing was the shower- using the main rainfall shower head spread water all over the floor. We found using the hand held shower handle was the only way we didn’t get the whole bathroom wet. Nevertheless, we would return because the location is perfect.

Ciel Suites Athens is a great choice if you're looking for a convenient, comfortable and quiet/private stay. There are only a handful of rooms and all are very well equipped. The staff are super friendly, helpful and very attentive to their guests. I would highly recommend a stay at this property. My only piece of feedback would be that the rooms could use additional storage. There wasn't a closet, dresser or other drawers in the room I book. Other than that, this is a standout property in the heart of Athens. You won't be disappointed with Ciel Suites.

I enjoyed Ciel Hotel. It’s in a great spot and was easy to find. The hotel had communicated with me before I arrived. The room was bigger than I had expected and finished to a high standard. I’d have liked more coffee in the room but I’m sure if I’d asked they’d have provided some. Lovely and clean. I’d stay here again for sure

We were only at Ciel Suites for one night, but it was the perfect place for us to stay after a long flight to Italy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There’s a great restaurant just around the corner that we ate at, and everyone in our traveling group was very pleased.

The front desk is not 24/7 but they do have a 24hour phone number and they are there from at least 8am until 10pm. Very clean and comfortable and convenient to get around.

The Ciel is located in the middle of everything, convenient to the the Metro, close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is beautiful and newly remodeled. The staff is friendly. They lost a star for a couple of reason: The young man at the front desk went up with us to show us our room. Instead of helping me with our luggage he watched as we struggled to get out of the elevator. Second, our room flooded due to a heavy rainstorm. Same person handed my wife an arm full of towels and announced that he called a tech to fix the leak. Left us to stem the tide of water. The manager did comp us breakfast the next morning, which was nice. I just couldn't get over that the desk guy couldn't be bothered to help. I would stay there again. Hopefully this person is getting some extra training.

Ciel was very helpful in accommodating transportation from the port and to the airport. My husband actually forgot his backpack in the car when we were dropped off at the airport and the hotel was able to call our driver and he returned with the backpack. So thankful for the Ciel crew!! Definitely recommend staying here while in Athens!

My husband actually forgot his backpack in the car when we were dropped off at the airport and the hotel was able to call our driver and he returned with the backpack. So thankful for the Ciel crew!! Definitely recommend staying here while in Athens!

We were about to head out to the airport around 3:00am. Then we realized that we left one of our carry-on bags in the room and the key card as a part of early check out instruction/process. We locked ourselves out and panicked because there was no staff on the property during the night as we were informed. Anyway we managed to make a call and got help asap. I didn’t get the name of the staff who helped us over the phone. She was the best!!! Thanks 👍

The location is great. Everything I wanted to see was within a max of 20 min walk. However, Monastiraki metro station is just 2 mins from the hotel door. Great choice of restaurants locally and into Plaka and Psyrrhi. The area is busy but does not feel unsafe as a solo traveller. Good mix of tourists and locals getting on with their daily lives. The staff in the hotel were lovely, all of them. Friendly and interested to know I was having a good stay. The room was modern, clean and well equipped. I had been concerned about potential street noise but the high quality glazing kept out any noise from below.

Great boutique hotel near Monastiraki Square. Close to al the mass market shopping like H&M, Sephora etc. But also close to a local flea market featuring antiques. We used the hop on hop off bus that we were able to catch at the square or at the Parliament near by. Easy walk- about 15 minties to the Acropolis as well. Staff were great at suggesting things, arranging for taxi on our way to the airport. Room is clean and spacious. The only thing was the shower- using the main rainfall shower head spread water all over the floor. We found using the hand held shower handle was the only way we didn’t get the whole bathroom wet. Nevertheless, we would return because the location is perfect.

Location location location….walking distance to sights,food and shopping. Train station is 3min walk from hotel making it super convenient from airport. The only reason 4 stars for cleanliness was because they did not clean room on one of the days….no reception staff so hard to even get clean towels. Even though they provide a number to reach staff after hours no one picks up and email was only responded after 10hrs. I wish certain amenities like fresh towels could be left in reception area when not manned so that guests can help themselves. Other than that excellent.

Excellant location! Very close to metro and to the major sites. Loads of shopping and restaurants nearby. Even though it was right on a busy street it was so quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Incredibly convenient location right near the metro, lots of bars and places to eat nearby. Bed was comfy, bathroom and shower nice and spacious. Bit loud at night, but what can you expect in the middle of a capital city! If you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Staff were great, gave lots of recommendations of places to eat and made sure we had plans of how to get to the airport for our ungodly early flight.

Wow! This place is just amazing located at all historic sites & food places. The room is well kept, clean and quiet. For about 10mins walk you are at the entrance of the Parthenon, Temple of Zeus and other sites. It is only 2 mins walk from Monastiraki Square & 8 mins walk to Syntagma Square. Tylixto Traditional Pita is also close by and every food is amazingly delicious. Starbucks is 1 min walk. We will definitely come back!! And the staff are friendly and helpful as well. Great job ladies! :)

The Ciel is located in the middle of everything, convenient to the the Metro, close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is beautiful and newly remodeled. The staff is friendly. They lost a star for a couple of reason: The young man at the front desk went up with us to show us our room. Instead of helping me with our luggage he watched as we struggled to get out of the elevator. Second, our room flooded due to a heavy rainstorm. Same person handed my wife an arm full of towels and announced that he called a tech to fix the leak. Left us to stem the tide of water. The manager did comp us breakfast the next morning, which was nice. I just couldn't get over that the desk guy couldn't be bothered to help. I would stay there again. Hopefully this person is getting some extra training.
