The staff were very kind and helpful, providing a map with all the necessary information marked on it, including transportation routes from the hotel to Florence. However, it was unfortunate that the air conditioning was not very effective.

Overall the hotel is nice. It's clean and modern. Rooms are comfortable but the shower is tiny, lol. Staff are helpful and friendly, but I primarily picked this hotel due to two things. It had a pool and it offered gluten free food in the restaurant. The pool areas was nice, if small, but tricky to get sun all day as it's surrounded on all sides by the two stories of the hotel. It didn't seem to be used that much while we stayed so we were free to move the loungers around but this may not always be the case. Gluten free was where I was disappointed the most. We arrived late on the first day and the restaurant was still open, but my GF partner's only option was a bit of beef and some roast potatoes. We gave it another go a couple of days later to see if having a relaxing day just at the hotel was an option, but again the selection was very limited, so we stayed later in town than we would usually have done. Probably the biggest downfall is the hotel's location. It states it's only a few kilometers outside the centre of Florence but it takes 45 minutes each way due to the one way system and the current roadworks. The shuttle bus is free but it doesn't take you into the city centre but this was more of an issue for me as I have mobility issues. Buses are hit an miss. They say they come every 20 minutes but this is wishful thinking. We waited an hour at the stop and then three number 23 buses pulled up one behind the other. Not the hotel's fault but just a heads up.

It took a little while to find it, as our gps was confused, but we loved it when we arrived. Staff was great. Beautiful courtyard outside of the restaurant and the rooms, restaurants was great. Rooms were clean and great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable 10+ in that department. Smart tv and minisplit were nice features. The only thing to warn people about is the corner shower is very small. I’m 6’2” 200lbs, and if anyone was a football player or slightly overweight they might get stuck in there, or at least have a hard time washing their feet!

Staff is not the nicest, the shuttle driver is rude and not helpful at all, breakfast is good, dinner is ok, they could have more people servicing the restaurant, overall is a nice place and convenient for people driving with plenty of parking in premises
