Nice, modern hotel. Bright and colorful! Very small rooms though, but nice lounge areas in lobby. We especially enjoyed the pool table! The breakfast was good. Mainly packaged omelettes, sausage, fruit, cereal, and mini pancakes you can make! The kids loved that. There’s a nice heated pool, but the area around it needs remodeling. It’s gives a motel vibe with an updated pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The stay was ok. They never came in and cleaned room once in my 5 day stay. Also be aware they charge 50 dollars for every day to stay. Then to top it they hold your money till they feel there ready to give it back. Day 4 and they are still holding a 100 dollars of mine. Elevators feel like they need to be worked on. Sketchy riding in them.

Was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average, didnt have many options. Would possibly stay again, not for the breakfast or the staff since they were kind of rude and not accommodating and hopefully what happened doesn't happen again. Couldn't use elevator since power went out. We were on the 2nd floor which we didnt have to climb too many stairs. I have bad knees, need a replacement so had to go slow. 4hours later, still no power, was close to check out when power came back on. We showered in the dark! They could do better and find staff that are not rushing you to leave the breakfast area even when its still 2 hours left to serve with no one waiting. We should have got a discount for not having power or a/c for hours! I asked and the front desk said no, the power should be back up shortly. Overall, I rate it a 6.5.

I have always loved the Tru hotels. I feel they are clean, efficient, the breakfast is decent and they have the best coffee for a hotel. It helps that they have little areas for entertainment.

Overall great stay for a month as I was attending training. Breakfast was acceptable, though several times the breakfast service was ended early, 9am closing instead of 10am. Was expecting more storage space for folded and hanging clothes. a single washer and dryer for the whole hotel is a risk if one of the machines broke. both were working for my stay

Overall, I really like the property! A few little things bothered me in my room. First, there was not hot water in my faucet. And the floors felt gritty when I walked in my bare feet, but everything else was great. I would stay again.

Not familiar with area, but we needed a place to stay. Having Hilton in its name we thought this would be a good hotel. It smelt like weed in the building and outside. Roaches everywhere, and there was a rough get together outside pool area when we showed up at 7 pm we didn’t allow our kids to go out side. Pretty rough stay and we were not pleased.

This hotel looks great. Until you stay there. The windows act like they are dingle pane glass allowing all the road noise in your room. The floors and walls are not well insulated causing the noise level to be ridiculously loud. We weren’t able to sleep soundly. Very disappointed. Hilton properties are usually much better.

Our room was way too small! We definitely did not expect to not have a closet. There was just enough room to maneuver to the bed. It was pretty crammed for two people with two large suitcases. Also, the breakfast left much to be desired. The bagels seemed old and they were very hard and there were no breakfast meats with only hard boiled eggs...

There’s only one complaint to be made about this property. They did NOT do a good hon with sound proofing. Literally our next door neighbors were talking, not yelling, talking and it sounded like they were in our room. Anytime anyone spoke we could hear it. You must do better with that. It was AWFUL!!!

Issues with hot water? Had to let shower run for 5 minutes to start getting warm water. No frills in rooms. No coffee makers, no microwaves. no closet. beds were OK. no ice buckets. had to get one in lobby each time.

I am sharing this rating because our flights were cancelled and rebooked 4 times, and though Expedia tried and I tried directly with the hotel, management would not bypass their cancellation policy though we contacted them days in advance, and therefore the room was paid for but we never made it there due to all the storms in the Southwest. That lack of compassion from management was disappointing.

When we first checked in, we were given a room that someone was already staying in. Bags everywhere, trash, beds unmade. We were told they were checking out. We then got another room where every time you left the room, the door stopper would pop out after closed. So when we return to room we had to wait for staff to let us in to unblock the stopper. Just overall terrible, not good, not pleasant and will not be back at a Tru by Hilton.

Female who checked us in was not friendly and we had called ahead to get rooms with family next to eachother and she said there was no note. We were on opposite ends and separate floors which made the stay difficult. The gentleman who was there after her was AMAZING! Attentive and helpful we were happy he was there at breakfast for assistance as well!

The pictures of the property are old and outdated. The hotel is not as it appears when booking and the breakfast bar was nothing nice. Loud area with sketchy surroundings. Upon arrival to check in staff members were unfriendly and charged me due to booking through Expedia which they called a third party vendor and treated us differently due to using Expedia instead of booking with them.

While the place was clean and staff friendly, the hotel was constructed cheaply and thus was very noisy. The room was very cramped and the breakfast served was the worst of a three week trip. I asked for a receipt upon checking out and was told to get it through Hotels.com. Every other hotel provided me with a receipt when asked. The location was not the best either. I regret not paying a little more and getting a place right on the beach. We will not be coming back to this hotel or any TRU by Hilton. I expected more from a Hilton managed hotel.

Very clean, twin bedroom was huge, breakfast was one of the best selections so far, only down side is to get to the beach during the day can take 40mins to get there which is 1 mile that bridge is a giant traffic jam so leave early

This hotel was a very good choice to be as close to Destin without being in Destin. It's a very nice hotel and very clean. The only drawback is the area is a little sketchy and slightly run down but the days we have been here have been pretty quiet.
