I had an amazing stay here. Excellent service. We had access to the Otis Hotel rooftop bar and swimming pool. I was able to park my car safely during my stay in the parking garage. All around a wonderful experience.

Great walk to Moody Center. Rooftop bar has a nice view but limited drink and food selections. There are other food and drink areas in the hotel. The burger place connected to the outside of the hotel was delicious and fresh. Overall it was a great stay!

It was great with the exception of the cost of parking. I had a hard time figuring out where to park. The building is not marked very well. Once o was settled it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the balcony it was private and a great place for a glass of wine.

The hotel was very comfortable. The only problem is the parking. Whether you pay for self or VIP, if there’s no more parking, you’re out of luck. Which is not okay. Additionally, my first day of arrival, a man took a picture of my license plates within the parking. I reported it to the Front Desk which they non chalantly confirmed it was odd and they didn’t know why that would happen. I’m a female, and always look around. Thankfully my brother was with me and my mom. Please be careful.

I booked this hotel because it said that they had electric car chargers. When we arrived, there were only two of the type that we have at home. This is fine, but there were no rules for charging. Therefore, there were two Teslas parked in the spots charging from Friday-Sunday, fully charged. They were just camped out there all weekend. When we asked at the desk a very nice employee suggested that we use the garage across the street which we would have to pay for I order to use chargers over there. Next, I paid for breakfast in advance but was told that we only would receive breakfast the first day because we didn't get breakfast on the day we check out. I've traveled all over the world and have never stayed at a hotel with this policy. Also, the prices for the restaurants online were not the same as on the menus in the venues. We heard other guests complaining about this, too. Some of the wine, for example was twice the cost during happy hour as was stated on the menus. We didn't complain while we were there (except about the charging stations) because the staff was absolutely lovely, and these things are clearly above their pay grades. But, lesson learned. Won't stay here again,

The property was beautiful on the inside. Having to change elevators within the hotel since it's 2 hotels in one (don't know how to explain it) was kind of confusing. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

I go to Austin frequently and stay a different Marriott properties. I really enjoyed my stay at the AC Hotel. It was super clean and the room is streamlined. Not fussy. No carpet. Simple modern layout. The front desk was nice. Easy parking and super convenient to campus.

Pretty hotel with convenient walking distance from the university, but the rooms are on the small side. And just be aware that only the potty on behind a door. The shower space is open to the room and not private. The glass of the shower is heavily frosted, so you can see through it, but getting in and out of the shower you are exposed to the rest of the room and the people in it. For many this may be an issue, depending on how you feel about that.

The hotel is pretty however i did not anticipate having to pay $50 a night for parking and the bathroom is an open concept so zero privacy. Only thing you get is a sliding door for the toilet but the shower can be seen by anyone in the room unless you are on the bed staring directly ahead. Was fine for my husband and I but someone coming with a friend may not appreciate have zero chance for privacy.

Absolutely ridiculous. There is MAJOR construction happening on the property that is attached to this one. Our room was adjacent to it and the construction started very early (before dawn) with what sounded like girders falling, hammering, etc. No disclaimer for the hotel when we booked, no apologies for two nights of no sleep. I don't think there is a single room in this hotel where you wouldn't hear the construction... I say this because it seemed like every time we went by the front desk there were other guests asking to be moved or for refunds. Avoid at all costs.

The room was way too hot to sleep comfortably. We could not get it to come on when we needed it. It was not a good nights sleep at all. The thermostat said 65 but that was an out right lie. It was more line 75/77 in that room. The air would kick on once an hour maybe 45 min so your constantly taking covers off putting covers on. Just too terribly hot in our room.

Paid a room upgrade charge to only get no sleep due to AC not staying on in the month of May, blinking smoke detector light above the bed area. Called to have fixed and they couldn't have matienance come out until the morning. Left early. Staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate with extra bags of ice and complimentary water.

Not having a refrigerator or microwave was very inconvenient and I guess the refrigerator is on a very limit availability but one can request one and on a first request first serve basis. $50 a night for parking is also extremely high along with if you want to use the pool you need to pay $20 for the day. On an already higher nightly price compared to other hotels in the area. Staff was. Friendly and location was the best part. I will not stay here again

Room was fine, bellman was wonderful, however the front desk decided to charge me for late check out (which was approved as I am a Marriott Bonvoy member) and stated I still had stuff in the room hours after we had already left. We left an hour past the original check out time and had already made it back to Houston where we live, but according to the hotel I was still there at 2?? And I was charged for no reason whatsoever:

If you are running errands in downtown maybe it is worthy but it is more expensive than any other hotel that might be 10 minutes away from downtown (driving) you have to pay extra for parking there ($50-$60 per day) and they did not help me at all with my suitcases or anything and I am pregnant so I did not think it was worth the price

Booked a quick weekend trip in to Austin to help our daughter set up her apartment while attending UT. We had stayed next door at The Otis before but this was our first stay at AC and we loved it! It was a bit quieter than Otis, conveniently located, and the accommodations were great. Small but very comfortable room, great check in process, and the housekeeping was outstanding. Also, had a great breakfast at Acre 41 with phenomenal service by Riley and team. Overall a great stay!!!

Wonderful stay. Parking is expensive ($50). Construction in area causes delays. The only is lighting above sink is wrong making putting on makeup a challenge. This is a more open concept. A curtain between shower and bathroom would be nice. Great rooftop bar at adjoining hotel! Very close to arena and UT.

They let us check in a few hours early as the room was available which was so helpful! The location is great if you’re visiting the Capitol or UT Austin. We added on breakfast to our room stay as an additional cost which was worth it as we had breakfast at the Acre 41 restaurant which is attached to this hotel.

We came into town for business and were greatly surprised with the in house amenities. With our first stop after checking to our very comfortable room, was the lounge adjacent to the check in and wow what a cool, jazzy, laid back comfortable sexy lounge it was with a beautiful terrace overlooking MLK St. Jason the manager served us and really explained all of the wonderful Tapas, the delicious cocktails MUST DO THE OLD FASHIONS & ask about the GRAPEFRUIT OLD FASHION.......to die for. He also told us about Acre 41 restaurant downstairs which is the an amazing restaurant / steakhouse, with it own eclectic Whiskey Bar, highly recommended this if your visiting Austin, TX plus one place we didn't get to was the roof top bar OTIS which I'm told does Sushi, Tapas & Tequilas. Bottomline when staying here you don't need to go anywhere else!!
