Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Seaport District

The property was very clean and our suite was a great size for a family of four. Pool was a little small. It's over a mile to most family attractions (Aquarium, Museum of Illusion, Quincy. I didn't mind the walk but the kids did and most days we used an Uber. The breakfast could be better but it was included.

The property is very nice. It has a top notch gym for a hotel and an indoor pool. The lack of a bar or restaurant on site is a slight negative but outweighed by the free hot breakfast. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. Super comfy beds. I would definitely stay here again

It is a nice hotel, very separated from rest of Seaport and kind of lame that it's Hampton and Hilton combined. Hard to say what the advantage is of staying in Hilton over Hampton. Pool very small, staff working very hard and very nice

Entire stay was very enjoyable. Housecleaning was very accomodating, gym was one of nicest and best equipped I've ever utilized, laundry facilities were sufficient, and kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Blackout drapes were awesome, as was the ocean view.

Huge suite, nice view. Breakfast is decent. Pool is small. Some staff are excellent but others a bit rude. The valet cost is too high, especially since there is no self park on site.

Great, clean hotel with all of the family amenities (breakfast buffet, laundry, kitchenette, pool). The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is in an upcoming area that is a bit of a walk (or an Uber ride) from many of Boston’s attractions like Quincy Market, the North End, etc. Though overall we found the Seaport area to be a lovely area to stay in and would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.

It was a great stay with family. For kids, they loved the spacious rooms, breakfast service, and pool. Close to the tourist areas. Parking is very expensive, I must say.

I like the 24-hour coffee and tea. The pool is a bit small to me.

They combined Hampton inn and homewood suites in 1 building, causing heavy rush of people all the time in lobby, lines for elevator and breakfast. Breakfast quality is very low all frozen stuff heated and very crowded all the time. Very disappointing, wouldn’t stay again. No parking available, valet at $60 a night and at least 30 minutes to retrieve your vehicle.

Courteous and accommodating staff when we checked in- Natalie, thank you. The room was clean and even the hotel seemed full it was quiet in the rooms. There was a good selection of food for breakfast.

Suite was very clean and in very good condition and quiet. A little noise from the airport could be heard but overall the room was well soundproofed. Had some control over heating & a/c but it tended to run a/c even when it was 40 or lower outside. Better than usual breakfast setup. Very convenient to the Innovation & Design center. An event there was the purpose of my trip. Otherwise, limited public transportation and dining options in reasonable walking distance. There was an interesting self-serve local beer station in the lobby, but I found it confusing and unintuitive. Minimal interaction with staff, the ones I encountered were fine.

Keep in mind that this is a $200/night hotel. Some of these would be expected if you are staying at a 2-star hotel. We've stayed in the center of the seaport for less money and had far better experiences. Arrival: Drove to the location. No parking outside to check-in unless you are using a valet. Causes stress from the moment you arrive. Staff: Generally cold. Unprofessional. 3 employees laying on counters as you are speaking with them. Focused on phones rather than greeting guests as they walk by. Elevator: food on the floor of the elevator. Hallway/Floor: Ice machine broken. Room: Just ok. Bed is comfortable and sheets were clean (which matter most). Couch was comfortable. No water in the room ($4.25 in the lobby if you want cold water -- see ice machine above). Bathroom had hair on the shower wall. Floor was not vacuumed well. Breakfast: MAD MAX of BUFFETS!!! Tons of people. Crazy. Disorganized. Lines. Subpar food. Kids running around. No room to move as you have to walk through all of the tables/chairs to get to the food. Make your own waffles, and 'toast it your own' (with 200 people waiting for breakfast). Probably fine if it is a quiet morning, but not when the hotel is busy. (Over at 9a so don't sleep in!) It seems like they are trying to do as little as possible to keep costs low - no restaurant, no bar (don't care but making a point), no parking, limited items for food outside of breakfast.

the property is nice, parking is $60 which is insane and the room could've been cleaner, the stove top and fridge were both dirty. the pool was heated which was nice, not too many walkable dinner options.

Super clean, high end property with amazing harbor views

Overall the hotel was in good condition and the location was great. The room looked & felt clean but once I opened the fridge and saw there was old food in it, it made me question how clean it really was - like clearly they don’t clean or wipe down the fridge bc if they did they would have removed the old food so that was disappointing. As for the front desk staff, they were fine, efficient but just lacking in the customer service. I wouldn’t say rude, just not friendly. For example, when I checked out she just asked for the room number & said ok you’re all set. Didn’t ask how was your stay, didn’t ask for the room key or anything.

My room was 1 king bed with a nice kitchen and a huge refrigerator. I was really impressed by this room! So spacious!! This hotel was very friendly and a clean hotel. Free breakfast was also nice too. I enjoyed the stay.

The views from our room were AMAZING! We had a bedroom corner suite and it was absolutley wonderful!

Huge suite made it easy and spacious for 3 teens! Nice sitting area, kitchen and huge bedroom with 2 beds.

Nice large room with kitchen, large fridge and microwave. Separate sofa and king bed. All beautifully decorated and felt new. Ten minutes walk from cruise terminal and 15 minutes drive to airport.

We enjoyed staying here and it was very clean. I did hate that they do not have an airport shuttle or ways to help guests around the city. Other hotels offered this and it made us second guess our decision to stay here. Also, there was no way to change the air flow in the room. It would not move off of low so even with a lower temperature it would get hot.

Loved the 1 bed fam suite. Huge corner room that had 4 floor to ceiling windows and view of marina and water. Everything was new. Would def stay here again whether for cruise of Boston visit. Under $20 uber ride to downtown. Close to airport and port.

Wonderful room and clean but the fitted sheet was way too small and came off the bed both nights

The room was nicely remodeled. Amenities were good. Only drawback was the bed and sofa bed. You could feel the springs on the bed and definitely the sofa bed was unconfortable. Hard to say they offer that room for 4. My 11 year old had a hard time sleeping on it. Other than that the staff was great, amicable and food options at breakfast was ample and good quality (for the money paid).

Everyone from checkin to cleanup was courteous and friendly and responded quickly to any request. Blew a breaker in the bath area and was fixed within30 minutes. Wonderful breakfast buffet also. Highly recommend the hotel.

This place is lousy. At check in we learned the hotel "gave our room away" and stuck our party of 3 in a smaller studio. Supposedly we showed up too late, but we were never told that we had to check in before a certain time. For this reason the hotel felt that it was okay to "double-dip" and sell our room to someone else even though I had already paid for it. The following morning the hotel gave us 15% off the price of the room the first night as an "apology," but it does not rectify the major inconvenience of having to take time out of our trip to re-pack, move rooms, then call the travel agency to request said refund ourselves. It is an unacceptable that this hotel felt comfortable misrepresenting their terms so they could further profit on a room they already sold. If they want patrons to check in or be in contact before a certain time they should make that clear in the check in instructions and not hide it until they had the opportunity to rip someone off. Aside from that the hotel was nothing special. The beds were uncomfortable, the rooms weren't the tidiest, and it was in one of the most unwalkable areas of the city. I wouldn't have bothered reviewing if not for the way we were treated at check in after a long drive. I'm happy to never come back and encourage other travelers to stay elsewhere.

I was very disappointed with the check in process. The young registrar did not greet us, only asked us for an I.D. card and credit card. She was not very friendly. Then she handed us our room keys. I asked of there were any documents to sign. She told us "no" and that we were all set to go. I had to ask in what direction our room was. Obviously, this staff person needs more training in hospitality.

Everything was wonderful. Easy check in/out, prompt valet, and spacious rooms. We called to the front desk for an extra blanket and they delivered within minutes. Breakfast was decent, but get down there early, or it’s mobbed. Only complaint is the bed sheets, they ruffled and sounded like crinkling paper if any of us moved in our beds, but honestly that was minor. Love the full kitchen in the suite - makes this hotel great for traveling families with children!

When we arrived they said expedia had overbooked and we did not have a room. We had to book another room. Expedia never contacted me or let me know we didn't have a room. I did not receive a refund or any explanation. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

I booked and prepaid for 2 suites-one for myself and one for my son. When I arrived I offered to check in and put my credit card on hold for both rooms at that time. I was told that was not possible because the other party-my son-was not there. At 9:30pm I was rudely awakened by a phone call from the front desk and was informed that unless I physically came to the lobby with my credit card the room would be released at midnight and the booking cancelled. I explained that my son's flight was delayed and I did not know if he would arrive by midnight. I suggested they use the credit card they had that I gave them on my arrival. This was not acceptable to them citing fraud as the reason. After speaking with the supervisor on duty he agreed to hold the room until 3am. Luckily my son arrived by 1am but this interaction with an unprofessional and inconsiderate front desk staff will be an unfortunate memory of Hilton Hotels. Maybe the fact that I booked this through a third party site had something to do with the service I received

Waited over 45 minutes to check in, turns out that my room wasn’t available and the only thing they offered was a downgrade without giving me a reason or a credit because the manager wasn’t present at the moment. The room they gave me smell like someone smoked in and they had an air purifier to clean the room. Never again!

We really enjoyed our time wholeheartedly at this location. We were in town for a birthday for my sister and to also celebrate our Anniversary- so I wanted something close to the restaurant and also beautiful views for my partner and I and I found this hotel and fell in love. We had an amazing experience- the accommodations they made to make our anniversary special was so commendable. Delroy was absolutely immaculate and I want to thank for everything. Went above and beyond with the customer service- top tier I must say. The rooms were beautiful. The room I had on the 8th floor was ocean view and we watched the sunrise it was so romantic and such a lovely view. The room was absolutely clean and spacious. The property itself was just divine. Even the price point for such an amazing experience was well worth it, we will for sure be back. For the most part the employees were astounding besides ONE employee- but everyone else was absolutely delightful. If you want to be close to tons of beautiful sights and unbelievably amazing restaurants- this should be your choice.

This was a very nice hotel overall. Great breakfast, great gym, and very nice staff. Our only issue was with how far the hotel was away from the major seaport area - about a 10-15 min walk. The surrounding area was industrial and left us uncomfortable with walking back at night.

Amazing continental breakfast! East check in and check out. Rooms are very spacious yet cozy at the same time. Close walk to the waterfront, about 10 minutes. No T stop I. The area so you have to take the silver line bus to south station or just walk the 15-20 minutes to south station, which was an easy and nice walk! We will be backn

Not as close to seaport as I thought. 12 min drive to area with aquarium, which would be 35 ish min walk. Hotel was great (comfy bed) and the continental breakfast was surprisingly expansive Clean premises, nice small pool.

Great location for cruise port!

Great location even though it wasn’t Downtown. Short walk from Silverline free bus service to Airport and they were happy to store our luggage on the last day as we weren’t flying out until evening. Would stay here again for sure.

The property is fairly new and is clean and attractive. The staff were friendly and responsive to special requests. My only real negative is that it is a bit far away from city center and the T service is bus only. But the price is reasonable as a result and Uber/Lyft were promptly available.

It a little out of the way, but very safe of a walk to the seaport. The price was right and breakfast included was very good. All the Staff were kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The hot breakfast was really good each day we were there. Eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage and toast/bagels

The staff were incredibly friendly and very cooperating/understanding when we lost our hotel key. The breakfast was delicious and available for a large part of the morning. Our room was clean and had everything we needed.

Unit was very nice. However, breakfast buffet and Wed night reception ran out of food,seating was hard to get. 15 min line to get eggs. No fruit by 815. Only 2 waffle machines for over 100 people. 20 min line for waffles. And no instructions provided. Reception had beer, but could have offered wine too

Loved the location and the room. Really wished there was restaurant, bar and room service available.

Great place to stay. Courteous staff and super clean location. The only downside is that the breakfast organization needs to be reviewed; there is not enough space to sit down with our meal, and the waiting lines cross, which causes problems. I simply think the breakfast area is too small for the number of people the hotel can accommodate. Also, the area around the pool needs to be cleaned more frequently.

Breakfast was not as good as it had been during previous visits. The rooms could use a little updating. Still overall we had a good experience.
