Well situated hotel in the city centre. The bar downstairs was buzzing and had a great atmosphere. Self service check in so minimal interaction with staff. Compact, modern and clean room with the most comfortable bed ever! A shame no disco lift like they have in Glasgow but would definitely stay again.

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive which contributes massively to having a great experience. Loved that there was a bar/restaurant inside the hotel! Very convenient! It saved me a lot of time and I didn't have to go and source food outside of the hotel. Also, the coffee and tea available outside the lifts on every level is incredibly forward thinking.

Got great rate through Expedia for an inside room (no window), cost less than a taxi home. Loved the hotel, compact room was well designed, no frills but a great option for a one-nighter. Liked the communal coffee station by the lifts, such a good idea. Nice bar/cafe area, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Really quirky hotel.. rooms clean and minimalist.. ceilings are a bit strange.. like they not been finished off (plastered).. but maybe that’s the look they going for. Didn’t pay extra for breakfast.. bar prices pricey.. oh and you need your key card to scan when you get in the lift! Self check in machines were easy enough but there is staff on hand if you need them. Comfy bed and a quiet nights sleep (we were on 4th floor). My only feedback to perhaps improve is to have brew stuff in the rooms instead of on the landing near lift so you can make a brew in morning without getting dressed!

Stayed here for music event at the Co-op. Parked in NCP 10 min walk from hotel, tram to Co-op Live 10 min walk from hotel. Lovely and clean. Liked the hot drinks facilities on each floor (not hot chocolate). Bed wonderful. Quiet overnight but bar lively. Gym facilities. Great location.

Nicely situated near the AO arena, just a 10 minute walk but the view we had was of high rise buildings. No coffee/tea facilities in the room which was expected but outside in the corridor same as the iron and ironing boards. Cleanliness could have been better as mattress protector was upside down and had hairs on it, A/C was on all night which made the room chilly, dusty all round, and sink area could’ve been cleaned better (getting rid of soap marks). Not so sure of the scaffolding type poles in the room! Dining area was nice and breakfast was okay. Bedding had a couple of marks on it so should’ve been put in rejects (housekeeper myself). Overall room disappointed but location good for arena.

Having read reviews I was expecting something very special, but was very underwhelmed. Amazing decor in reception Area, but room was so small and dark and lacking in any comfort. I totally regretted booking. No coffee making facilities in room. Had to go out of room to a galley area. Decor in room was tired. Bathroom floor stained. Breakfast was served in bar, had to ask for table to be cleaned. Large selection but mostly cold and tasteless. For the same price I have stayed in a lot better.

Poor stay at Yotel. We were guests for three nights and there was no housekeeping for the duration of the stay. I also dropped something on the floor and it was quite apparent no one had hoovered under there for a very long time. The bar within the hotel was also poorly stocked as for three of the days they only had alcohol free beer. I would not stay again.

Once I took off my shoes to take a shower, I felt a sharp pain and realised a tiny piece of glass had lodged in the bottom of my foot. I looked around the room and was shocked to find many tiny shards of glass scattered across the floor. It was a very scary and unsettling experience. I reported the issue to reception and they changed my room promptly. However, this incident left a strong negative impression and I will never return to Yotel in Manchester.

The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in! So hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. I like a firm mattress but this was like a board. Also the plumbing was so loud, I could hear so loudly every time the people in the rooms next to me (or above me maybe?) were showering or flushing the toilet. This woke me up so many times through the night. I stayed 3 nights and never once had any housekeeping. Very strange. I’m used to hotels that say to leave towels on the floor if you want them changed, or to leave a card on the bed or you don’t need the sheets changed. But no housekeeping at all for a 3 night stay?! Very bizarre. I was there for business and working 14 hour days so was always too tired to say anything to staff when coming back late in the evening.

This hotel has a Self service Check In so was quick and easy Rooms not as big as I hoped - quirky but the room looked unfinished. I even checked with reception and they confirmed that was the “look” they were going for. The ceiling was awful - pipes showing and just spoilt the style of the room. Kept hearing running water through the night - think it was everytime the room above went to the toilet !! No kettles in room - have to walk across corridors to get a tea or coffee Would not return - stick to a Premier Inn. Much nicer rooms.

The Yotel was very clean. Our cabin was very compact and modern. The only downside was that when people in other rooms ran water or flushed toilet during the night you could hear the noise going through the pipes inside our room. I commented on this to the staff when we checked out and they clearly knew that there was an issue, but weren’t very apologetic about it. Great location

Not sure what the plumbing is in that building but felt like the pipes where right next to my head whenever anyone ran any water or flushed the toilet it was so loud. Also room was extremely dry unable to open the window slightly ment my sleep was really rough

Issue with checkin - unable to find to self checkin. Same happened to check out. Needed to be sorted by staff. Staff were very friendly, apologetic and helpful. Super king bed too large for room as the person sleeping on the right side had to climb over from side or bottom. Bed firm. Room basic with iron ,coffee, tea in corridor

Lovely looking hotel but the beds were rock solid and the kingsize bed was two singles pushed together. Walls were very think could hear everyone in the neighbouring rooms. Including flushing the toilets.

Just wanted to mention that Pedro, front of house/reception is a real asset. If you are fortunate to check in or out and be met by such a a nice gent, then your in luck. Aside from this we have stayed here before and never reviewed but both stays have been excellent.

Genuinely felt welcome, comfoetable and at ease. The best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Arrived on Friday evening around 19:30ish and the person on duty saw I was having trouble locating ny booking at the self check-in area and promptly found my reservation and welcomed me to my stay with a genuine engaging attitude and explained all the details of the room and amenities for my stay. The person minding the entrance also welcomed me back engagingly and genuinely upon my return to the yotel after my outings in Manchester. The lobby, bar and restaurant vibe is settling annd welcoming. The room was great and all amenities wxcellent with a very comglfy bed. Definitely and highly recommended and would use Yotel's wherever available.

Our stay was generally pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was clean and quirky, which we really liked. However, breakfast was a letdown. The food itself was okay (the eggs were a highlight), but the overall experience was poor. Cutlery, plates, glasses, and cups were dirty, which was disappointing. Hotel staff during breakfast service appeared disengaged and at times rude, with very little interaction or acknowledgement of guests. It was particularly frustrating to see staff enjoying freshly prepared coffee from the hotel bar while guests were left with instant coffee from a self-service machine - the coffee was horrible. Transport access was convenient, and the hotel offered a good base to explore the city.

Check in was not great, 3 staff on reception & being told we were checked in already not even a welcome ? One guy sat on his phone ignoring us, the girl gave us key cards as the 2nd guy was struggling with error on check in status, room keys then given but no information provided regarding breakfast, access the hotel when doors lock (which they did and we had no idea how go get in ). Room allocated the toilet was out of order & the bed was full of hairs - not mine ! We got another room & offered complimentary breakfast but next morning where charged £10 each. Staff at breakfast couldn’t even day good morning or assist when I asked for a plate for my toast as none beside toaster I was told to go to the other side of dining room to the hot food area and get one ! Meanwhile my coffee I left at the table had been cleared away when I returned with food.

I was inly staying one night as i was attending a concert. The staff were really nice, the hotel was clean. The room was a little on the smaller side but it didnt really bother me as i knoy needed a place to sleep. Really liked the lobby/ bar decor. The location is very central, was about 20mins walk from the train station.

Stayed here as we were going to Coop Live. 5min walk to tram station and only a 10min tram journey to coop live. Great location with loads of places to eat near by. Reception staff and bar staff were lovely and really helpful. Booked a room without a window it was extremely quiet had a great nights rest. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay and we have been looked after very well. The only thing is our room was overlooking the main Street and there was some sort of club so it was very noisy at night. Not ideal as we were travelling for work and with a kid so not had a great sleep 😒

Very loud fan noise in first room, even with earplugs. Asked at reception told that all rooms have a noise, but some worse than others and offered to change. Next room was better, but still noticeably loud. Went to bar in evening to use free drink voucher. Told food ended at 8 so can’t use. Asked to order a pint of IPA (at 9:45pm) and told they are cleaning all their pipes so only bottles of Stella available for the rest of the night.

Stayed at this YOTEL the night before running the Manchester Marathon. For over £250, I expected a standard, comfortable hotel experience—unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The window in my room was broken, so I had to listen to loud street noise all night before my early start. Worse still, there was a sewage pipe running through the wall above the bathroom making constant noise throughout the night. Despite the marathon being on the hotel’s doorstep, there were no efforts made to accommodate runners. Breakfast wasn’t available early (6am), which you’d expect for such a big event. I had to eat porridge in my room and was given a dirty teaspoon from reception when I asked for cutlery. Other runners I spoke to had to skip breakfast entirely as the hotel provided nothing suitable. The bag drop was chaotic—you’re given a numbered tag, but on collection, there’s no check, and anyone could take any bag. Not secure at all. Extremely disappointing for the price paid, and I wouldn’t return—especially if you’re coming to run a race (Manchester Mara/hald) or need any kind of reliability.

Good central location, great welcome by staff at the entrance. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable nights sleep. Only downside at 4pm on a Friday afternoon was no draft beers on tap at the bar downstairs and a choice of only 2 bottle alternatives. ( neither of which we liked) forced the group to go elsewhere for pre/theatre drinks.

Selection of vegetarian food was amazing. Breakfast was really good. Gallery Tea Making facilities were not great. Need to have a kettle so the hot water is boiling before it goes into cup. We brits love a well made cuppa. Had to pop across road to dukin doughnuts to get a proper one.
