PARKING IS A BIG ISSUE IF YOU HAVE AN SUV. Hotel is wonderful BUT we had to drive around for 45 min- 1 hour trying to find parking. Hotel staff said hotel had a valet parking garage right next door, which they did but they only have 1 spot for an SUV. After trying 5 other parking garages/outdoor lots we finally found a self park parking garage that fit my standard Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I do not even have the extended one. Very frustrating. I'm sure this info is given on their website but when you are booking a hotel it is not common to check to see if the hotel parking fits SUVs. Lesson learned.

The room was exactly as stated, very nicely decorated and up to date. For the price though, I would have expected parking to have been included, instead it was a hefty $70 which I was not aware of and then we had to swap out vehicles with my son who lives in Philly because they couldn’t accommodate our “large” vehicle. We utilized their texting service to get the car in the timeframe instructed and then still had to wait an additional 15 min. Not what I expected when spending $600 for one night at a hotel. Next time will probably stay at a lower end hotel where they are trying to give better customer service.

Beautiful hotel in city center Philly. Nice amenities including a quality hotel gym. My only complaint is the breakfast was incredibly expensive. It was $30 for one person! Also valet parking was around $57 for one night.

We absolutely loved our stay INSIDE the hotel. Room, HOTEL staff, bar/restaurant were excellent and very accommodating. Perfect location as well. With that said, our initial check-in experience wasn’t great as we were denied parking by the attached garage…and then denied again by the 2 adjacent garages. We arrived around 4PM and couldn’t have checked in much earlier. Eventually we found parking about 6 blocks away after 45 minutes of fighting more traffic and finding only more full garages. Pretty crummy to spend all that $$$ on a nice hotel (that we SPECIFICALLY picked due to on-site parking) to have to deal with that. It stung after a particularly stressful travel day too. I will say the front desk staff was apologetic up and down for it and let us know they are not affiliated with the attached garage (gave us better parking recs, too). They are rockstars and brought only positive vibes to the situation. Just know when you stay here, pre plan your parking because 16th & 17th streets are a MESS…don’t wing it. Try to reserve something close by in advance, otherwise you’re better off staying somewhere else with dedicated parking/valet for hotel guests.

Hotel was good. The parking garage was a major issue. We parked two cars there. My daughter called to get her car prior to work on the morning and they couldn’t locate her car/ it took 20-25 mins and she was late for work. Hotel was good but would not recommend the parking garage

There was a brown stain on the wallpaper beside the toilet. The phone and television remote had visibly not been cleaned - the alcohol wipes I used came away brown. When housekeeping came in, they did not replace the pillow cases that I had gotten chocolate on the night before - only made the bed with the same dirty pillows. The wall plug had four ports - the two normal electrical ports worked, but the 2 different type USB ports did not work. The room was very dimly lit even with everything turned on. There was not a comfortable chair - only the desk chair and a small wooden stool in addition to the beds. NOTE: I did not make management aware of any of these issues during our stay, so I cannot speak to how well they would have been resolved. When I asked for things like extra towels or breakfast brought to the room, it was very prompt. But for the price per night, my expectation would be not to need to ask for so many fundamental things to be addressed.

Overall our room was nice. We were happy with the solid surface floors and no carpet. The room as very spacious. The cleaning was really subpar though. There was a blood smear on the wall in the bathroom next to the toilet paper holder, and a white glob of something mysterious on the bedside table closest to the window.

We liked the convenience of being close to the train station, and is walkable to most tourist attractions. We like the option of breakfast included. The rooms were a little smaller than we liked but it offered bath and shower. Too bad however that our room’s tub had an issue with the plug and we couldn’t take a bath and also the night light under the bed was a bit annoying. We couldn’t turn it off and its motion sensor.

We had a great stay at Hyatt this past week. The location is central - you don't really need a car. Lots of places are accessible by foot or public transporation. The staff at the front desk were all so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to friends!

The staff at this hotel were excellent! They truly wish to make the guest feel welcome and at home. There were some aspects of the stay that could be improved: -There was A LOT of dust in some areas of the room, such as on the top of the light near the closet. -The toilet paper was terrible quality and caused us discomfort. -The toilet is separate from the sink area, which is inconvenient and annoying when needing to use the bathroom at night. -The air conditioning unit did produce cold air, but struggled to maintain a stable temperature in the room.

This is my second time here in two months and it didn't disappoint. Rooms are modern, clean, and nice to be in. The lobby area, fitness center, and restaurant are all great too. I wish I knew the name of who helped me when I checked in, as he helped us lug a ton of luggage upstairs and was so friendly throughout our entire stay. My only gripe is valet - not helpful, friendly, or quick.

Friendly check in experience, but free VIP items not ready (free bottle of wine), and multiple requests and subsequent promises for a cork screw went unaddressed. It finally came after we had already opened the bottle manually. Design aesthetic of property is great, but room amenities are basic—so attention to detail on the service side would have gone a long way, especially when paying so much for a relatively small suite with arguable ‘city view’ that did not make the room stand apart from the rest overall.

Great location! Quick ride to most areas of interest. Easy area to walk to restaurants, etc. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The street that it enters from at times (later at night) felt a little "sketchy". Felt almost like an alley. Lined with dumpsters at the end of the block. But this would not keep me from returning.

I can't say enough of this hotel. I love it. Starting with the not-so-great: as with most hotels not having a five-star rating, valet service usually is lacking. As the first and last points of contact, the process of retrieving your car and the blah attitude of the attendants leave a quite a bit to be desired. The bar staff also could be a bit more attentive. Putting that aside, at this point I consider it a home away from home whenever I am in Philly. The rooms are always clean and they are beautiful. The corner executive suite is perfect for a small family. When traveling alone, it is great to have a separate 'living room'. Views from the upper floors is great. Besides the above small complaints, one thing I could only dream of for this hotel is an indoor pool.

Love this hotel. Close to rittenhouse and walkable from the train. Great room design and super comfortable bed and seating. Large shower with dual shower heads made it easy to bath our toddler. Had the breakfast this time and it was great. Esp worth it if you can get the room/dining combo.

I didn't like that I had to pay for coffee. Let alone $5 a cup plus tip. Only hotel Ive ever been to around the world that doesnt have complimentary morning coffee. Also $30 for a limited breakfast is also very expensive with little to choose from. People were talking about it both times I stayed there. So I cant be the only one that thinks that way.
