The staff were very friendly, the hotel was modern and clean. The gym was one of the best I've enjoyed while using a hotel. The shower pressure was great. Breakfast was spot on. Would absolutely stay here again.

Under ground carpark was. Great and secure The service was great friendly staff happy to help nothing was to much trouble The room was nice and clean and comfy Bar was open late great staff Breakfast was great lots of choice of food and plenty of it I loved the make your own waffle machines and so did the kids different to other hotel breakfast options in a very good way All around great time experience and hotel Will be staying here again next time we visit Manchester

Clean hotel from top to bottom, room was great, temperature spot on, comfy bed & pillows, towels all clean & all amenities you need. Bar was open really late which was nice & allowed us to chill after our gig before going to bed. Only issue was car park, it was a nightmare to get to due to road works/closures & when we did find it no one answered the buzzer

A nice enough hotel located not far from centre. Hotel was modern and well maintained. Car park is obviously small and limited spaces, we were unable to park or reserve parking at the property which is the biggest negative as the nearby car parks were open air and not very secure! Breakfast was good as included in the room rate, but busy times should be avoided as limited seating and breakfast buffet was overcrowded. Overall a good option for short visit to Manchester and nearby concert venues, etc, just be aware if you intend to park!

Convenient location - 10 minute walk from town centre, room was big and clean, breakfast included was a bonus, gym, easy to park in the hotel car park (although there is an extra charge). Will stay again next time I'm in the area!

We checked in and got to our room and there was trash on the floor, stains on the wall, a chunk missing from the wall near the bed, and little bugs everywhere. We went downstairs and they thankfully gave us another room. But all they said was “that’s not ideal.” The new room we got had stains on the couch and floor, hair on the bed, and stains on the two of the towels. For the price I paid I expected better.

Our room had lots of stains on carpet, also sugar on floor. Asked for a sofa, we ended up with a sofa bed with cushions that came off so you ended up sitting on the metal frame, there was an awful large stain on one of the cushions and on the other was a large rip. Definitely put ne off staying in a Hilton. This was a special trip and felt it was ruined by the cleanliness of the room

Large stains on floor and chair. Water on window sills. Hair matted in plug in the sink. Construction all around site and road closures which made hard to get to car park. Stayed in a queen and single room. The reception staff were lovely. Even allowed us to book in early as we were heading off to watch Oasis. My only gripe was that I could smell smoke in our room all night. I am not sure if it was coming in via the air conditioning or window I never got that far. Apart from that the room and bed was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive even coming to the room to fix the air conditioning for us which we had struggled to set correctly. The lady even brought us a fan which was a nice touch. All in all would stay again.

Very clean and spacious room. The reason why i gave it a 1 star review is we couldnt sleep due to how hard the bed was, it was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on the floor. The AC wouldnt work and the room was hot and stuffy. The menu for the restaurant is very limited to 3 or 4 items which for the price is not very good.and we ended up going out to eat. Parking is very expensive at the hotel but there is alternative parking around the area which is relatively cheap. If the bed wasnt as bad as it was i would have gave it a 3-4 star review but we nearly checked out at 2am due to how uncomfortable we were.

The place around the hotel was so traffic as there’s constructions are going on. Check in was fine but the room itself, the lowest temperature on the control system is 19 which is really hot. Me and my family were not able to sleep properly as it’s so hot. The bed and pillow makes sounds everytime we moves. It’s probably the bed cover not the bed sheet. The food selections are limited. Scrambled egg ha No taste, sausages are burnt as if we’re chewing a rubber. The place were the foods are Very small place so there’s always a long queu as in we’ll spend longer hour to queu than to eat. I booked this hotel as this is Hilton but I was very disappointed. I will never book in this hotel ever again.

Swift checking however check was 12pm and hotel cleaners entered my room on 3 attempts from 10:30 one occasions was in the shower and the next my partner was completed undressed as she walked in. Felt rushed to check out because they wanted to clean the rooms.

No room ready for us on arrival at 3pm. Took till after 4:30pm to get a room. Breakfast was a shambles. Ran out of food, waited for ages but queue got longer and longer, gave up at 9:45 after 45 minutes. Breakfast ends at 10am promptly, breakfast staff unhelpful and aggressive attitude. People complaining at reception about the same things. Staff appogised but no attempt to resolve. Booking this hotel was an expensive mistake as this is not a budget hotel and the budget hotels do so much better

1. Check in was slow. 2. Resented paying the tourist tax. 3. Never been asked on previous visits to the hotel to pay a £30 refundable surcharge. When cash was offered and rejected this entails an intrusion into my personal banking which I resent. Also check of our numerous visits to the hotel would have shown that we had never disrespected any material or personnel aspects.

During check in the attendant at the desk was very rude. He demanded i need to pay and was adamant i hadn't paid due to the online payment system not working he did not let me speak a word i had to show him proof to listen to me and show clear proof i had pre-booked and paid on Expedia. Needs to learn basic customer service. Was very loud thinking he was in the right until he realised i had infact paid.

Hotel is nice and location is very good. However, on checking out I asked for a VAT invoice and the assistant refused to give me one, because I booked through Expedia. I need these to claim expenses for business travel and because I didn't get one, now I have to keep chasing the front desk via phone to send me one on email. Never had this problem at any other hotel.

As a city centre hotel the hotel was among the best of its type in our experience. Any trepidation about the hotel vanished as we entered the foyer and our bedroom. The location enabled us to experience Manchester on foot in the local area. Ignoring the current massive road works of the time, getting into the underground car park was awkward. I would suggest parking in the nearby car park for a short time (£1) and paying for the hotel car park before unloading the car.

Booked this hotel due to its closeness to the AO Arena, we were able to check in early 2.20pm, lovely friendly service, nothing was too much trouble. We were able too get drinks on our return after the event at the Arena and breakfast was fresh and plenty to choose from. Easily walkable distance from the train station and very close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone if they have an event at the AO Arena.

City break stay to visit the xmas markets and a gig at the AO. The hotel was well located and a 10-15 min walk to the main area. Would definitely stay again.

Not many staff especially at breakfast which was a full on distaster. Queued for 45 minutes as no food left and when it was repleished slowly one item at a time with 5 minutes between each item coming out it was poor quality ingredients. Croissants and pastries had ran out mid way through service and not replenished at all. Staff did not seem to care. Stained duvet cover. We were placed in a room with disabled facilities so the shower difficult to access for non disbled people due to pull down showerbseat and low shower which was also spoilt with water only a little warm. Overall expected great things for £240 a night, we would of had a better night in Travelodge. Toilet holder not secure. 2 coffee sachets, 1 teabag and 2 sugars in the room with no spoons. Not sure how we were supposed to stir drinks.
