It was a great hotel right across the street from the ocean. The room was nice with a sofa that you could sleep on. The breakfast was nice and kept replenished and kept clean. Would definitely recommend. Only negative is the $20/day parking.

Perfect getaway hotel in a great location. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and I’ve already booked our next stay. Underground parking is safe, clean and there’s plenty of it (two levels). Only costs $20/night.

This is hotel was just right for our family of 5 for 5 nights. Room was spacious with desk perfect for a little work mixed in. Directly across from the beach with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Hotel provides towels for you to bring to the beach. Breakfast was ok, everyday was different but not a lot of options. Upstairs has a rooftop bar and small menu. Great place to sit and enjoy the view. We will be back!

Great hotel and location. You won't be disappointed. The staff was genuinely friendly and excited to connect. The hotel is very clean. (and we are picky about that, so thank you Springhill Carlsbad.) Rooms are comfortable. The rooftop patio has views of the ocean, fire pits, bar, etc. Easy walking access to the beach, downtown Carlsbad, and lots of great food venues. We would definitely stay here again.

We were told we would have a beach view. The slice of beach we could see ‘em was only possible if we leaned far over the banister of the patio. This is not what I’d expect as a beach view.

We like this hotel, the rooms are nice with one exception which unfortunately has a negative impact on the generally good impression. The very large door to the bathroom consist mainly of Milk-glass and is facing the bed. So during the night, when you use the bathroom, a very bright light shines on the person in the bed, bright enough to wake-up the person.

This hotel is one of the best I had the pleasure of staying with my family. It's clean, great staff, and close to beach, Legoland, and restaurants of all sorts. The only problem was our upstairs, (we were on the 1st floor) the family had zero control of their kids. So when it was time for us to put our kids to sleep, it was just horrendous. The noise, jump running, and evening talk can be heard from our room directly beneath theirs. My tips would be, if you want good rest, please pick the top (3rd Fl). Don't make them mistake I did, both me, my wife, and my kids suffered. The front desk did made effort, but that family was ridiculous.

We stayed in one of their suites, however the room was small, and the walls are thin. We could hear everything at the pool until it closed at 10:00 PM. Also, you could hear the people above us just walking around in their room. For what we paid per night, it was very disappointing.

We had a good experience staying here. The only thing was the bathroom has a sliding door that is frosted. You can't see into the bathroom but the light is super bright so whenever someone got up to go to bathroom during the night it lit up the whole room.
