We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. The only thing was they charged us $50 for our little, quiet, non-shedding dog. Most hotels are $35. That was 1/2 the room rate. Loved the fact that there was a pool and fitness room. Breakfast was decent. Will stay again as we make this trip several times a year. Will also recommend to our son and DIL who have two kids.

Absolutely everything about the Tru Hilton was terrific. From the lavazza coffee and stash teas to the saltwater swimming pool. It is now our favorite place to stay when we travel

The hotel is in a great location for Softball Tournaments at Norlo Park. There are games in the lobby the kids can play and the breakfast was really nice.

When we checked in they had our cancelled reservation still on file. I had reserved twice to use my hotel.com points. I had to email them our cancellation. No biggie. Our checkin took awhile, mind you our room was already paid for. We still had to pay a $25 incidental fee for if we used the market downstairs. Our room had dirty floors. See picture below of towel that we used to wipe up a water spill. The toilet got easily clogged. The morning we checked out my bank called to ask about fraud transactions that was for the 5 times the hotel tried to charge my card for the cancellation amount. This then locked up my bank account and being Sunday I couldn’t use it until Monday which is very inconvenient. I let the young girl at the desk know our trouble checking out and at no point was a manager notified to speak with me. So checkin was bad, charged wrong and locked up my account, room was dirty and maintenance was not good. I would highly not recommend staying here.

Super-clean and great accessibility features! So many hotels just don’t “get” the needs of folks traveling with a family member who cannot sit unsupported on a fold-down shower seat. We’ve had rooms at other hotel chains claiming to have a “wheelchair accessible” bathroom that ended up having a raised ledge requiring us to “pop a wheelie” to gain access to the shower or even a full-sized tub! One hotel we were in had the roll-in shower, but there was no hand-held shower head, so we had to fill the ice bucket with warm water to wet down and rinse our son. We also appreciated the fact non-slip flooring was used throughout both the sleeping area and the bathroom

Check in was easy, friendly reception, bed was comfortable, breakfast ok. However, our bathroom and bedroom floors were not very clean. Everything else around the hotel seemed clean so I would stay again in the hopes it was just an oversight.

This property is so nice. It was clean, new, and the staff was amazing. I will choose this hotel going forward when I visit Penn State with my son. I hope they keep up the property and the customer service when I return.

We stayed here to visit family and it exceeded our expectations. We had a room overlooking the creek and was a beautiful view. The room was very clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The lobby was equipped with games for the kids and family. The patio outside of the lobby was a lovey setting as well. We will definitely stay here again!!

Room was clean. Unfortunately WiFi would not work on our 4 devices. Even with help from management even they couldn’t get it to work on all 4 devices. Woke up early and turned on the TV, At 3am the channel we were watching went off air. Don’t know what to expect for breakfast. At this rate I probably will be canceling my December reservation and canceling my Hilton club honors. Not real happy. Oh and one more thing the walls are paper thin and we can hear a person snoring in the next room.

2 flashing lights in our room right by the bed on wall kept me up all night. Ridiculously bright fast light and a slower one. Couldn’t see the lights until we turned the main lights off at 11 pm. Just awful and I knew the desk would say they didn’t have anyone available to help us until morning. Want refund since I couldn’t sleep. This would be dangerous to epileptics (my sibling has epilepsy). No fire detector needs to flash like that. Dangerous to health. Lady at desk was argumentative that no one had ever complained and it is just the detectors. Ridiculous comment - as if no detectors will ever have issues. We pay for a hotel for the single purpose to sleep through the night and those flashing lights made it impossible. Refund please

I stayed 12 nights at this hotel with several of my coworkers. Pros: staff are friendly, great water pressure, free parking, free breakfast, indoor pool, beautiful view, comfortable bed, refrigerator and desk in the room are helpful. Cons: the hotel is right next to a major highway so there's non-stop traffic noise, especially trucks Jake Braking, and noise from other rooms is loud. No microwave in the room. 2 nights in a row I got 0 sleep because the person next to me had their music and TV blaring 8pm-6am. Could have been longer than 6am but that's when I left for work. Anyways, 4 times I contacted the Front Desk about it, every time they said the person didn't answer their phone or the door, so there was nothing they could do. That seems crazy to have everyone in the surrounding rooms suffer. My coworkers said they were in rooms next to people going in and out every 30 minutes (we assume to smoke) and would slam the door every time to their room and to the stairwell, waking them up. They also were next to people with loud televisions and/or people chit chatting in the hall in the middle of the night. Sure, the hotel cannot control people, but better enforcement of the 10pm-9am quiet hours would be appreciated. We will not be staying at this hotel for our next business trip.

Although the hotel is in a high traffic area (which had advantages for eating options), the room was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and my check-in information was kept confidential, which was important to me as I was traveling alone. The room was very nice - updated and impeccably clean. Shower was great - good water pressure and hot water. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the smoke alarm in the room. It had a flashing light on it that flashed all the time. It was not a big light but just enough to notice when I turned off the lights to sleep. Other than that small "inconvenience", I had an excellent stay.

I arrived late and as soon as i walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome. Checkin was quick. I needed a cart and they grabbed one for me. Friendly staff that was busy at work doing all things they need to do get ready for the morning stopped and made me feel like their priority. Thank you for the amazing service!!! I only wish I could have left a 6 or 7 star rating ;-)

Our room had no shampoo in the new style large bottle secured to the shower wall. It was obviously empty for a while because only air came out when I tried to squeeze it. Front desk staff were quick to provide it, but the lack of it made me wonder what might else have been missed by housekeeping. Also the parking lot was being paved which we did not know and made it difficult in traffic to turn around and find the correct entrance. A bit distressing after a long 9-hour drive in crowded traffic. We saw a memo at the front desk alerting current customers of the plan, but thought it would have been notified by email prior to arrival scheduled for that day.

Cleanliness is good, lobby was attractive and cozy. Staff are nice. Only criticisms we have is the squeeze bottle body wash and shampoo/conditioner in shower and at sink, that's not a hygienic way to provide necessities, even though that's a cost containment choice made by Hilton. Also, wish there was a little more variety of fruit at breakfast.

Very good for a one night stay. Staff excellent. Comfortable bed.shower clean and best pressure. Fill up station for water containers. Breakfast was great. Staff made sure I had orange juice. He was just getting things set up and organized for breakfast but immediately made sure my orange was ready and even dropped in off where I was sitting. No complaints zero. We will definitely use this hotel again and again.
