We would definitely stay here again. The rooms were nicely decorated, large tv in the room and a large bathroom with shower. The free breakfast is always nice, the hotel lobby has a pool table! They lobby also boast a really great sitting area and the seats have usb plugs to charge your electronics. We loved our stay, the only negative I could say is that they had hard wood floors so you can hear people walking around above you. But that was a minor detail.

Checkin was as simple as it gets and no surprises. Room keys worked, room was clean, ready for occupants. Lights all worked, HVAC holding temp as desired, and bathroom clean and well supplied. Hotel staff was very polite mannered and wearing clean clothes. Breakfast was ready on time and looked very good. Would visit there again and I will check out other Tru by Hilton wherever I travel. Best No-frills Hotel I've been in a long time. Very comfortable and clean.

Apparently short on cleaning staff…. Had to wait three hours past check-in time for room to be ready.

Pros: The hotel looked nice. Breakfast was passable. The gym was nice. Most of the staff were helpful and personable. Cons: The location is weird. The hotel is sandwiched between a stone quarry and a some weird businesses (e.g. a motorcycle shop and a place to buy furniture and building fixtures). No restaurants or useful shops that you can walk to. Check-in was unpleasant. The front desk staff created a really negative atmosphere in the lobby/common area. They were gossiping very loudly and complaining about being disgruntled at work. You couldn’t stream Prime on the room TVs. If I were returning to the area, I would not stay here.

Tru is my go to in this category of hotel. Clean and practical rooms, helpful staff, decent breakfast, plenty of amenities and even a pool table.
