Check in staff was very friendly and a very fast process. He made sure we had plenty of towels when we went to the pool. Gym was very clean and well stocked with towels, water, and equipment for a small size facility. Would come back.

This is a very nice hotel. Very hip. The rooms get super cold, the refrigerator was cold the front desk was very nice. The pool area and pool table was very nice. Only one little thing the bar was not open

We booked because of the pool but pool was closed for maintenance even after calling ahead to make sure. Elevators kept going down and not working correctly. Front desk staff was snotty to my sister and daughter. room was clean but the rest of the hotel was dirty and had a weird smell. Patio furniture had mold and algae all over it. Massive wasp issue on the patio as well.

Room was super clean, we were here for a wedding and we had forgotten our steamer. We were about to head out to Walmart when we realized the room had an AMAZING steamer. The sheets were soft and we slept comfortably in the king sized bed. No complaints! :)

It was nice. We had a little trouble with our first room so after a few tries they had to move us to a different room. The room had a few dirty spots and you could see they hasn't wiped things down very well. But the beds were very comfortable and the lobby had a lot to offer.

I checked into my hotel around 3 pm . I get to the room and the room I got had not been clean yet . I was in a rush and had to leave the house keeping came in and cleaned it while I was gone . The point is I should have not been given a room that was dirty and was not cleaned at 3:00pm when check in starts .

The staff was super friendly and check in was fast. The hotel had beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. But for the price, I was really surprised that our king size room didn’t have a microwave. We didn’t realize that until our late arrival after the show we went to a d we couldn’t heat up the food we had in the mini fridge. There’s a microwave in the main lobby downstairs but who in the world wants to use that instead of one in the privacy of their room. Also, no breakfast was offered…not even basic muffins, bagels, oatmeal, or anything like that. They even have a restaurant on site but it wasn’t open for breakfast. Again, at that price point, and though the room was nice and comfy, we wouldn’t book here again. Microwaves and basic breakfast offerings are 101 stuff that you can even get at motels. I expected those things after paying almost $200 for 1 night here. Such a bummer.

I enjoyed my stay very much, my room was nice, couldn't understand why the sliding door to the restroom would not close all of the way. Didn't like that feature, also had a hard time trying to hook up my Xbox system. I was hoping to get some gaming time but it was connecting to the tv for some reason. The bed is very comfortable and I finally caught up a much needed rest.

I arrived at 2pm, and hour before checkin. There was no one in the lobby and I waited like 2 minutes for the girl to come check me in. She then tells me it’s $25 to check in early. Never heard of this in my entire life, I’ve also stayed at several aloft hotels before. She claimed it was due to availability. Yet, there was a room available. The worker was rude as all get out.

I experienced a significant issue during my stay regarding the inability to cancel the second night of my reservation. Unfortunately, this forced us to remain an extra night rather than returning home as originally planned. While Cheyenne, the manager, was extremely helpful and understanding once she returned, I did not receive the same level of support from the day clerk (a young white male), who neither honored my request nor offered any alternative solutions. I want to especially acknowledge and thank Cheyenne for her concern and support during this time — her assistance was greatly appreciated. It was simply an unfortunate situation, particularly because I attempted to cancel with reasonable notice, but was unable to due to policy and limited funds.

Check in was very awesome too - Clarissa (I hope I spelled her name right!) was absolutely amazing and so nice and really treated us so kindly! We definitely appreciated her checking us in! This was my second stay at the Aloft Houston Shenandoah. I stayed there due to shelter from Hurricane Beryl. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the power went off at the hotel on Monday, July 8 due to the hurricane winds. The staff was very good with trying to make accommodations comfortable because they do not have a backup generator. My ceilings in the room also leaked onto my bed and clothing. The lines were busy, so I received help from two amazing cleaners who got personnel to move me into another room. The staff was great, but I’m disappointed with their general manager, who never showed up or assisted staff with providing candles or other items for the staff or guests. I was also charged for the room in spite for the leaking room. I ended up checking out earlier due to lack of power. Overall a good stay, but management could have done better

Our stay was decent. Hotel is clean. Area is nice. First morning we were there the housekeeping opened our door without knocking while my girlfriend was changing clothes. Towels feel like sandpaper so.. not good. One elevator was shut down the last couple of days due to some kids getting trapped in it and the FD coming to open it. Last morning we were there we left the shower on for ten minutes. Could never get hot water. Not a fan of cold showers. Housekeeping knocked on the door this time.. at 11:05 to say time to check out. Meh.

Pretty good stay. The service is a little slow though. Asked them to bring some towels a couple of times and no one came up, so we had to go down stair and get it ourselves. Other than that, we had a good stay!

The overall property was beautiful! We absolutely felt safe in this location. Everything about the room was modern and beds were comfortable. Free Parking onsite was great and the pool area was clean. The best part was the proximity to the Woodlands ( Houston) I give this hotel 2 thumbs up and will return in the future

Only complaint was that when we got there we were told that they would be doing an update on the bar system so it wouldn’t be open until the next day and when the next night came it was again closed. Would have much rather have a bar open on-site since it was one of the main reasons we booked here.

Don’t wait to get breakfast or get it somewhere else… I got a burrito and it was microwaved and stuck to the paper it was in… returned and asked for the tomato egg sandwich which was soggy and bland. The sun dried tomatoes was the only thing I could taste and it was just gross…

This hotel was very nice, very clean & comfortable. However, I booked this hotel because it had a bar, and I even called to see what time the bar closed before booking. My girlfriend and I attended the Jelly Roll concert & I didn't want my boyfriend to be bored while we were away. I was told on the phone & at check in the bar doesn't close until 11. However, it seems to be at the bartender's discretion.. because the bar closed at 9:30. This is unacceptable. If the hours of operation are 5pm-11pm per the front desk 2x, then they should remain open until 11. I will book elsewhere in the future.
