Lovely room. One of my favorites of the stat. Woke to monkeys every morning!!! Their motto is "Still more.monkeys than people". Saw sloths on the grounds too and the adult pool has incredible ocean views. Very unique place. More animals.here than in the park!

Wonderful experience, great staff. We planned some on our own and some they helped out with. The property is pretty vast, including multiple restaurants, pools, and hotel areas, all in the hills above the beach. We saw monkeys, iguanas, butterflies, parrots, etc on property which the kids loved. It was recommended to us and we’d absolutely pass on the recommendation.

Our room was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly enough, José at the front desk was very nice and super helpful in answering our questions. All the Capuchin monkeys running around the resort was super fun! Only misses we had were that we wish the pool bar stayed open later and that there was a hot tub/thermal pool. There were shuttles to the different restaurants but a shuttle to the beach would have been nice since it’s a 10 min walk all uphill on the way back.

This place is really beautiful with gardens and ocean view. Hotel offers a shuttle to get you around the various areas of the hotel. Public transportation right across the street brings you to Manuel Antonio beaches and National Park.

It's was great to stay here. Very comfortable and unique with planes on the property that people could rent as room. Beautiful lighting and very friendly staff. There are a few restaurants I think owned by property that they will drive you right to. Very nice also has AC and TV where you can use your own Netflix

Large property, nicely decorated rooms, beautiful airplane suites, great food at any of 4 restaurants. Natalia at check in was very kind and professional. All service people were very polite and friendly. One issue I have to mention. No drink or food service at two family pools. Bar is only at adult pool, a long walk from family pools.

Costa Verde is a great property. Walk to the beach and a great variety of dining options at the resort. The adult only pool and cafe was a daily stop to relax with a spectacular view of the beach. The front desk staff (thanks Jason!) was knowledgeable and helpful when booking excursions and info about local places to check out. Watching the monkeys was always a treat in this wonderful jungle setting.

The property was gorgeous. I loved that the room had ceiling fans, full size fridge, cook top and utensils. The rooms were stocked except for bath towels. They were stingy with those.

Was fine. Nice hotel at a good location. 15 minute hike to the beach. Well planNed our property - however rooms could use a bit more cleaning (the floor had spots on it but I didn’t mind much). Staff was great until I asked for a late checkout. I was rudely told no - I asked if 15 or 30 minutes could be done and he said no again very rudely. Then said maybe 5 minutes. Well we returned the keys on time and he was very nice then. Maybe he was just in a bad mood and realized it later and tried to make up. Overall great stay. We got to see monkeys a few times. Overall 8.5/10. 0.5 taken off for the rude guy and 1 taken off for the cleanliness. But I would definitely stay here again if I was a to visit monte Verde

The hotel has amazing grounds and nature all around. The thermal pools were also amazing. The room was super clean and the restaurant and bar were wonderful. It is conveniently located to the town as well as the activities pretty much everything was about 10 mins away

This place was absolutely amazing if you like to see the wildlife. The staff was great and the food choices were great. We got a suite with a balcony and the monkeys would pass by. The place was spotless and the amenities were great. Internet connection was excellent. The property has 2 trails that are full of wildlife. The thing I appreciated the most is that the pool area was silent and respectful of the wildlife at the property.

The hotel itself is great. The stuff has been wonderful. I think it really depends on which room you book. Ours didn’t have a view and was close to the road but some others were just wonderful. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and Manuel Antonio park. We loved the coffee and batidas.

This was by far my favorite hotel in my entire trip. Just walking around and seeing so much nature and random airplanes, was so cool. Amazing views from the balconies too! My new zen.

Rooms are unique and very spacious. Older facility, but lots of charm. Bathrooms are not air conditioned in the rooms. You are one with nature. Haha. Lovely balcony with rocking chairs and bath tubs. Monkey and birds everywhere on the property. We had beautiful view of adult pool and ocean. Property has several dining options and a zip line. You can walk to beach. We did! It’s a hike though. Overall, recommend!

The property itself has a lot to explore and a variety of room types. We didn’t have a great view, but our second evening a troop of squirrel monkeys came by and that was amazing. Beds were comfortable, shower was a little weak and lukewarm, nice to have a kitchenette and full size fridge.

Arrived an hour before check-in, room unavailable so we went to have lunch. Stopped back 15 minutes early and it was almost ready. It was ready almost exactly at 3. That's fine we were early. When we returned later after dinner and ran the AC it was leaking inside in 2 places. Used pans to catch the water for the night. This was fixed the next day. My question is if the room wasn't ready it implies it was being serviced so how was this leak not known? The view is amazing!! Absolutely the best part!! Spent plenty of time on the balcony enjoying the view. The walk to the beach is all down hill & some steps. It's pretty steep and you'll have to hike back up. There was a shuttle we saw later that wasn't mentioned at check-in. Room service was great during a heavy storm. Order system on WhatsApp was fantastic. Overall good stay.

We did choose Costa Verde hotel as it was our last 3 days in CR. The hotel is rated as 4* however, for europeans standards, the hotel should be downgraded to 3*. We had breakfast one day and was okish but £35 for 2 coffees and 2 eggs is far to expensive for the quality of the breakfast. Costa Verde is a great property. Walk to the beach and a great variety of dining options at the resort. The adult only pool and cafe was a daily stop to relax with a spectacular view of the beach. The front desk staff (thanks Jason!) was knowledgeable and helpful when booking excursions and info about local places to check out. Watching the monkeys was always a treat in this wonderful jungle setting.

Location, Location, Location. So conveniently located to Manuel Antonio Park. Just 15 minutes walk. And its just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Lots of restaurant within walking distance. And oh the view! Not the most updated hotel, but it makes up for it by its location.

Rooms are unique and very spacious. Older facility, but lots of charm. Bathrooms are not air conditioned in the rooms. You are one with nature. Haha. Lovely balcony with rocking chairs and bath tubs. Monkey and birds everywhere on the property. We had beautiful view of adult pool and ocean. Property has several dining options and a zip line. You can walk to beach. We did! It’s a hike though. Overall, recommend!

This place is really beautiful with gardens and ocean view. Hotel offers a shuttle to get you around the various areas of the hotel. Public transportation right across the street brings you to Manuel Antonio beaches and National Park.

This was an amazing place to vacation. Easy access to Manuel Antonio and the beach. Even if you don't want to visit either of those, the property itself is like a zoom. We saw 3 different species of monkeys up close with some visiting us right on our balcony. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and there were plenty of dining options right on the property.

Absolutely loved this place. It had the best view I have ever seen in my life✨. The adult pool was everything and it was perfect for the whole family. I highly recommend. Loved every restaurant we ate on the property. The grill and avion was fantastic.

We visited 3 regions of Costa Rica and this was our favorite. The food was amazing and well priced. We were overlooking the ocean and the jungle. Wildlife was everywhere. So many things to do nearby.

Nuestra habitación tenía muy mala ubicación. La calle del hotel pasaba el frente. Todo se escucha y no se puede descansar bien. El otro día a las 8am empezaron a soplar las hojas y el sonido no dejo dormir ni descansar. Casi 2 horas. Las camas duras y poco confortables, después de dos noches duele el cuerpo. El bar de la piscina sirve en vaso desechable por seguridad pero de plástico desechable. Los precios de alimentos y bebidas son excesivos. El desayuno no está incluido y el precio el más simple casi $35 para dos personas. Sin café. Las construcciones de muy buena calidad. Buena limpieza. Y buena atención del personal. Vimos muchos animales, monos Tito, congos, cariblancos, martillas, mapaches, guatuzas. La piscina es agradable.

It's was great to stay here. Very comfortable and unique with planes on the property that people could rent as room. Beautiful lighting and very friendly staff. There are a few restaurants I think owned by property that they will drive you right to. Very nice also has AC and TV where you can use your own Netflix

Arrived an hour before check-in, room unavailable so we went to have lunch. Stopped back 15 minutes early and it was almost ready. It was ready almost exactly at 3. That's fine we were early. When we returned later after dinner and ran the AC it was leaking inside in 2 places. Used pans to catch the water for the night. This was fixed the next day. My question is if the room wasn't ready it implies it was being serviced so how was this leak not known? The view is amazing!! Absolutely the best part!! Spent plenty of time on the balcony enjoying the view. The walk to the beach is all down hill & some steps. It's pretty steep and you'll have to hike back up. There was a shuttle we saw later that wasn't mentioned at check-in. Room service was great during a heavy storm. Order system on WhatsApp was fantastic. Overall good stay.

Large property, nicely decorated rooms, beautiful airplane suites, great food at any of 4 restaurants. Natalia at check in was very kind and professional. All service people were very polite and friendly. One issue I have to mention. No drink or food service at two family pools. Bar is only at adult pool, a long walk from family pools.

Food was good apart from the sampler plate at Cantina, which was $60 for a plate of meat that was either wildly overcooked or wildly undercooked, depending on the cut. We were a little disappointed by the family pool, which is fairly small and got pretty crowded (there's an adults-only pool that's a bit nicer if you don't have kids) and the constant sound of traffic from the road. Great for a couple of nights but we wouldn't have wanted to be there much longer.

This was a wonderful place to stay. I traveled with my niece and her mom, and I’ll admit I was nervous about visiting a new country so far from my family. But from the moment I arrived, I felt safe and welcomed. The gentlemen who helped me during check-in and check-out were incredibly kind and helpful. I only wish I remembered their names so I could thank them personally.The property is absolutely peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature. 🌿🐒🌳My only disappointment was that I wanted to book a room with one bed for myself, but through the app I could only reserve a larger room with two beds. I wasn’t sure why that was the only option.I would absolutely stay here again. I felt so comfortable that, honestly, I wished I could have stayed even longer💚 🇨🇷
