Yacht Haven

Super clean boat we stayed on. Property was very nice and clean. We learned upon check in that we could use a private beach club and pool four miles away. This was not described in the listing and was a pleasant surprise for us. Only negative we had was we were told upon checking in that you couldn't flush toilet paper. This was not a deal breaker but rather weird. Suggest to property management that if you have to throw used toilet paper into trash can they should do a daily housekeeping service as seems very unsanitary. Even with that we would stay again as this was a great experience sleeping in a houseboat was extremely cool.

Very nice alternative to staying in a hotel. Comfortable and plenty of space for a couple or small family. Having the small ‘patio’ area right on the water was amazing. It’s the perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We saw a manatee swimming right behind the houseboat. The living room was cozy and the kitchen was great for preparing quick breakfast or afternoon snacks. Having two separate A/C units made it easy to keep a perfect temperature. The location was also good. It’s nice and quiet, but still close enough to the center of Marathon to make it convenient.

Stayed for 5 nights friends. The house boat we stayed in was new . Plenty of room for the three of us. Great for a small family. The office was very friendly. Such a fun alternative to a hotel room. We can’t wait to book again next year.

Yacht Haven in Marathon exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were excellent—spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, including a kitchenette stocked with a full set of plates, glasses, and utensils, plus a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. The real highlight, though, is the back deck. The views are absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and we loved the daily visits from wildlife like manatees and cranes. It made the whole experience feel peaceful and unique. We would absolutely stay here again.
