The room was clean but in need of dusting. We never saw an employee but someone did give us clean towels on our 3rd day there.

Stayed 1 night

We stayed here for three nights. The first two nights were in a suite, and those were wonderful. The suite was comfortable, and we really enjoyed the charming town and the excellent on-site coffee shop. Our third night was in **Room 7**, a standard room, and unfortunately our experience was very different. **Pros:** • Great location in a charming town • Excellent coffee shop on site • Quiet and safe • Clean bed linens • Friendly owner who answered our late-night call **Cons (Room 7):** • Our room wasn't assigned when we arrived despite having a confirmed reservation. • Dusty ceiling fan and several spiders. • Large gap under the front door let in a cold draft. • Heater had a strong dog odor, so we couldn't use it. • The magnetically mounted shower head detached while I was showering. The damaged hose had a sharp exposed metal edge that cut my hand badly enough to bleed and require a bandage. I emailed the owners with photos of the injury and the damaged hose. They apologized and said they would repair the shower and address the other maintenance issues. We'd consider staying here again—especially in one of the suites—but I hope Room 7 receives the maintenance and attention it needs before future guests stay there. Overall it’s a nice little hotel in a quaint town.
