The place looks better on the website photos. In reality the rooms are pretty old and run down but functional. We switched to an alternative room since the one reserved for us was very musty.

Breakfast is average, rooms are outdated but it was ok for a night (for us at least). Cleanliness can also be improved.

I understand you get what you pay for, but I would not return. There are fireplaces in the rooms (we asked to change our first room because the WiFi did not work at all), which makes the rooms absolutely stink of ashes and burnt fire logs. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Breakfast and staff was nice. There is nothing around and you cannot walk to the nearest restaurant as the road outside is heavily trafficked. I don’t think the photos they advertise gives a fair idea of the place. It’s very dated and not so clean.

I hate to give any negative review because they people there are great people. Very nice staff and beautiful grounds with lots of vegetation. The room though is pretty basic and tried to have a fireplace but the smoke kept blowing into the room and then all our stuff smelled like smoke. No other source of heat. Could be a wonderful place but needs improvement on the rooms. But again still enjoyed our stay.
