The only negative reviews I have is there’s no pool on site and all the construction surrounding the hotel. We stayed on floor 11 and didn’t get any street noise.

Note that the rooms facing I-35 have highway noise, but earplugs are offered in the room. I booked this hotel for my birthday weekend & chose a room with a balcony inside the room (it says "balcony" in parenthesis when you book) so I was very excited . I have several issues with this hotel, 1 being the parking is $45 per day. Being that that is a steep price you'd think theyd make it apparent upon booking. 2 the parking garage is VERY tight. Two cars (outgoing & in going) cannot travel at once . 3 you are assigned a level to park on, that level only has about 10 parking spots, VERY tight parking spots . Exiting the vehicle is only possible from one side of the car to avoid hitting a wall or the neighboring car. 4 the room did NOT have a balcony at all. It has a community open rooftop false advertised as balcony upon booking . 5 the room is extremely small with minimal lighting. I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. I would have been more comfortable in a Motel over this falsely advertised hot mess. If i could give it a zero i would .

Overall, nice new property. Consistent with with the Fairfield/ Marriott brand and service. Lovely rooftop terrace, good breakfast, friendly staff. Few thoughts: $45/day for parking is obnoxious, coffee is not very good, and somehow ants got in my bed and left me with about 10 bites.

I was very impressed when I first walked in, but after checking in I checked into a dirty room, the nice lobby guy upgraded the room to a suite room for that inconvenience, but I had booked a king room with a balcony view originally, then the following morning we are woke up to the fire alarms going off that we need to evacuate the hotel, we cut our stay short and left at 5:30 this morning, very disappointing experience.

The hotel is fantastic, the room are very spacious and have all the amenities, the staff are very friendly. The only issue is the noise, my room was to the back of the hotel and the level of noise from the bar felt like the band were playing in my room.

Had to come to Austin a day early prior to my bachelor party. This hotel was perfect for one night stay. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Nice rooftop and gym. My one complaint is the bathroom had old school shower tub combo that I hate. Wish it was just a modern shower Staff was friendly and accommodation.

hotels is a whole have kind of gone downhill lately and so I was thrilled to find how fabulous this place was. Top-notch staff, amenities were great, the room had really fabulous view, and just two blocks away was a very beautiful walking trail along the river. my one complaint would be that parking is pretty expensive if you park in the hotel ramp and it's really your only option. bed was super comfy, shower was super modern, facilities were fabulous and it was really high-quality stay.

Super clean and friendly hotel but if you're planning on sleeping don't stay here. I booked for a work trip with an important meeting and it was so loud from the freeway I was up until midnight both nights. They offer ear plugs and sound machines which is nice but they do nothing to block the noise.

On a recent trip to Austin, was not sure of the best location to stay. It appeared to be within walking distance of some local areas of interest. The hotel was on the highway and if you are a light sleeper this is NOT the place for you. Highway noise on one side and bar with bands on the other. There were only a few friendly employees, everyone else seemed pained to talk with you or answer questions. Breakfast was the typical but frequently they'd run out of food before the end of the morning 10A cut off. No water fountain or free access to water. I am sorry, that is the lowest of hospitality to me to not offer water to your guests. Of course they want you to purchase water at their over priced snacks stand. I expect more from Mariott. I will not stay at this location again, just because of the location/noise level but overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. Plenty of seats in the lobby with a few activities.

The customer service was atrocious. Every person that interacted with me at the front desk was extremely rude. My room didn't have any shower towels when we arrived. I was on the 16th floor and getting up and down from my room took forever because the staff was always coming on the elevator and going up or down 1 floor so we basically had to stop on every floor every time we went to or from our room. The only saving grace was the location of the hotel. Not worth the price

Overall a great stay. Nice clean property close walking distance to Rainey Street attractions. The freeway is right next to the property and it's currently under construction so had to navigate that coming in and out of the property. If you have a large vehicle the parking spots in the garage are very tight but that's typical. On Saturday night the freeway was quite loud since our room did face that direction. I stay here again but I would attempt to book a room further from the freeway.

My room was very nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. The only negative, and your mileage may very, was that there’s a restaurant right next door that was playing live music until 2am. If that’s what you’re looking for it’s great, but if you want sleep, not so much. Not the hotels fault.

The hotel was in a great location with lots of bars and restaurants near by. You will need to carry a sound machine with you if you are a light sleep as you can hear the music from the near by bars. Also one thing Expedia forgot to mention that they charge you $50 for parking a day once you check in. If I knew this before booking I probably would’ve pick another hotel.

This is a new property and we had an excellent stay! From the customer service to the cleanliness, we had a the amazing stay! The top-tier breakfast was the icing on the cake! Parking was pricey, but convenient, and comparable to the other downtown hotels. I liked that you could go directly from your hotel room floor to the parking garage. Some mentioned that the hotel is noises. It is on the highway, but it did not impact a good night’s rest. Loved the bathroom and bedroom amenities! Boom here if you’re in need of lodging in the area.
