clean room, loved the bathroom, spacious with a couch and desk. Just had this constant background smell of sewage. Beds were not very comfy, but not terrible. Gym was nice to have but all the Peloton treadmills were "offline" and me and a few other gym-goers could not get them to work, which was a bummer. Also need heavier weight options, maybe a barbell!

Incredible stay. Beautiful property. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Bed soft and cozy. The onsite restaurant and 13th floor rooftop lounge was impressive as well. Good cocktails and great service. The food was incredible. Had electrical problems with my original room and was moved. That kind of sucked after unpacking. But, not within anyone's control.

We were attracted to the Blossom because of the attractive pictures and the cost/quality of the room ratio seemed like a good alternative to the centrally located city hotels. As other have mentioned, the mandatory valet arrangement is annoying in terms of cost, the lobby is not nearly as grand as the pictures, staff is more in line with a 2-3 star hotel, no eye contact and overall unpleasant demeanor. Our king studio turned out to be inadequate for our family, the manager tried to sell us hard on a $50 roll out bed before giving in. Unless you want to be near hospitals, the location is a ghost town, nothing walkable. They stiffed us 8 bucks for a shirley temple and refill for my son, the attractive lobby bar was not open on a saturday night. The pool was fairly nice but had a seedy party crowd which seemed like the crowd the hotel attracts. The shuttle bailed us out of having to take an uber both ways to find some sort of place to eat. All in all, would have made out better spending a few bucks more and being in the heart of the city considering we only had one night to take in Houston. Others might find this property appealing based on their needs, we just felt it was overrated.

I was tremendously disappointed by my stay at Blossom. I had stayed there before and been pleased. it is an attractive atmosphere. This time I was very surprised to learn that the policy now requires valet parking, instead of what I had done before, parking myself in their garage. But the worst among several aggravations was the cost. $50 per night for valet parking is outrageous. There were other new disppointments as well. The coffee machine in the room failed, made a mess. The TV stations were very limited, some national stations unavailable. I will not be staying at the Blossom ever again. I felt ambushed by the required $50 per night charge for valet parking and disappointed by other problems.

I had a great stay at Blossom Hotel Houston. The room was spacious, the bathroom clean and modern, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. I did notice that towels were old and frayed with holes in some of them. The shower was refreshing with great pressure. We did order room service which was delivered promptly; however, towards the end of my meal, I noticed hair underneath one of the side dishes. It was unfortunate and disgusting. I stopped eating and placed the unfinished meal onto the tray and left it outside the door to be picked up.

Check in was a horrible experience, staff was not great. Booked early check in for 12 pm it was approved. Got there couldn’t check in until 4pm. Had to pay for parking every day we stayed there which was $54 a night. We stayed for 4 nights valet tried to charge me for 7 nights. Had to get that removed. The sheets had blood and make up stains on them had to request for change. No face towels in room. Called to front desk multiple times house keeper kept bringing dry towels then said they were out of face towels in the entire place. The area is dirty and some guy tried to wave us down to pull over. We had no choice but to park in the garage for the safety of our rental. The bar drinks were watered down and over priced. The bed also had chips in it and we did not have chips so this means it was not clean! Tried calling corporate multiple times no answer. Tried emailing them no response. I will never book this hotel again. Save your time and money.

I have never had such an unfriendly experience at check in at a hotel. I waited with only one other person in front of me for at least 10 minutes & was not even greeted or told someone would be with me. Then when another staff member came to check me in, he was in such a bad mood and never said hello welcome or thank you for my patience. The room I think has never been dusted. There was thick visible dust all around the side table & head boards. It was very obvious when you turned on the light at the headboard. The mattresses were hard as rocks. The beds were only made with 1 comforter that must have been made out of a polyester blend because we were sweating even when we had the air set at 65 degrees. Next day, after coming in housekeeping did not replace dirty glasses that I made a drink in or hang a robe that I used. They never had enough towels for the first night and did not replace on second night. I asked at the front desk for additional towels and she handed me a large pack in a plastic bag…instead of housekeeping dropping them off. On top of everything….they charge mandatory $49 per night for valet parking! The only staff & comfortable experience was in the restaurant-they were all friendly & gave great customer service. Do not stay here- looks are deceiving on the surface.

The aesthetics of the property were nice but by day 2 of our trip they were down to one elevator which resulted in us waiting for long periods of time to get downstairs. Upon arrival our sheets had stains on them but the staff were prompt and nice about changing the bed linens but the new comforter had someone’s makeup stains on it. Again, the staff was very prompt and apologized. It is conveniently located and not from downtown or the Houston zoo. I do hate that the Valet is so expensive but other than that we had a great time.

The place was nice but our room had hand & foot prints all over the window and debris/ a hair in a coffee cup. The place overall was clean but its these small details that make you feel cautious about what you touch. They are also understaffed. They don't always answer when you call and when they do, they are often simultaneously checking people in which leads to issues. I paid $26 for 'free breakfast' which when I later learned this was just a $20 voucher, that I didn't even get. When I called the front to ask why I had to pay $50 for a not so great breakfast when I paid in advance for a free breakfast, they said I should have received the voucher and because I didn't, I was responsible for jumping through hoops to get the $20 back and they are refusing to refund the voucher I never got. Soo... I paid almost $80 for a breakfast we didn't care for. You also have to do the $50 valet because they don't allow parking in their huge garage. This was particularly annoying because we drove 4hrs to get there and felt rushed gathering our belongings and ended up leaving stuff in the car we didn't have easy access to. There are other options for hotels in the area, its unlikely I'll be back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location was perfect — close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service was great. Everything was great except for no microwave and no instructions for the tv. Didn’t know how to get the channels we wanted and was afraid we might get charged more for them if we did. You have instructions for everything else why not the tv. Rooms definitely need a microwave for no extra charge.

The hotel was beautiful. The valet parking was a little expensive $49/night. It was impossible to get a microwave, we enjoyed exploring the area and eating at different food options nearby but we couldn’t enjoy our leftovers because the hotel does not have a microwave. You can request one for $25 per day which we did but it never came to our room so our food went to waste. The streaming services on the smart tv kept logging us out so we didn’t use the tv. It was beautiful, clean, and the staff is friendly. I probably wouldn’t stay here again but it’s a nice place.

Very disappointed with our stay. We were in town for a concert. Hotel was fully booked and only two elevators were working. Came back to room after concert and key would not work. Received new keys, came back to room and still would not work. Rooftop restaurant and bar was out of service during our stay since their system was down. We asked for our room to be cleaned on Saturday but came back to find our room had not been cleaned. Phone was not working so not able to call concierge or order room service. Hotel is 15-20 minutes from pretty much anything. No restaurants that are close by. Rooms were nice and hotel is clean but we were disappointed with not being able to enjoy many of the amenities offered. Also, if you are booking for proximity to NRG Stadium, be prepared to walk two miles to get there or to Uber.

Excellent front desk staff. Shiv stood out as did all the valet guys. Room was spacious and though I did not use it, the Dyson blow dryer and espresso coffee machine stood out as amenities not offered by comparable hotels. We kept the room clean and did not need the services of housekeeping but when called to fix issues, help was provided immediately. If you have a car, there is no self park, so be aware of the $50 a day valet fee, but you can take the car out multiple times a day for the 1 time fee. You will need a car if you stay here, or be prepared to call an uber or a cab everytime you want to leave as the area is in the medical hub and there's nothing to do, see or to eat at nearby.

Blossom Hotel is the only place we will stay at when we visit Houston. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful as well.

This property is only good online, save your money. When I arrived I had to wait an additional 30mins for a room. When I arrived in my room there were technicians still in my room, and as a female solo traveler it’s not very welcoming to see a lot of men at the time of me entering my room. They were in my room apparently because the TV did not work and the hotel stated it cannot be fixed during my stay, I was told I was getting $25 discount on my rate but of course as I followed up regarding the discount with other staff members, they could “not confirm I was ever told that”, typical. The room is dirty, not well kept, the towels had stains on them & I simply just did not feel welcomed in this hotel. I hope there are changes that can be made within this establishment so no one has to experience what I had too.

You won’t get a room early unless you pay. Don’t even ask. They lie about it to avoid arguing. Signs say there is self parking. There’s not. Ballet was slow. Our tv didn’t work. Our room safe didn’t work. Our key cards worked about 50% of the time.

Check in was awful. At check in, the hotel said that my reservation was cancelled and had me pay a much higher rate to keep my room. I had 2 reservations, and one worked and one did not. The manager was rude, unhelpful and a real pain to understand and reason with. Terrible experience again when I tried to show him that Hotels.com claimed that he canceled our reservation.

I was visiting some friends during Memorial Day weekend and chose this hotel primarily because of the aesthetics on the pictures and the rooftop pool However, upon arrival, there was an unexpected mandatory $50 a day valet fee The pool and surrounding amenities were not as nice as they look on the pictures to be honest The surrounding area of the hotel is not so great. It’s in a medical district and it is pretty desolate. The hotel views are just dirt grass and construction site. The valet staff was helpful and friendly. The front desk staff was helpful, but honestly not as friendly. The gym area was the nicest part of the hotel to me. The room was nice, spacious clean and had a slight luxury feel to it, and the bed was comfortable. The walls are somewhat thin. In my opinion, this hotel is overpriced because of the environment.

I tried to order from room service and called 4 times. Each time I was sent to a recording but the mailbox was full so could not leave a message/order. I called front desk and they had the restaurant call within 15 minutes. Ordered a salad with no bleu cheese. Salad came with blue cheese, no utensils to eat with and no salt/pepper, etc. I requested utensils and they were delivered within 5 minutes. Everyone was very friendly though

Clean room, great service. However, room service doesn't exist even though it is touted. When calling, you get an answering machine and when you are about to leave a message, you are told the mailbox is full. Also, menu's for in room dining are not up to date. Also, coffee machine is like a latte thing...which didn't work as well. Second time staying here, same issues last time. Also, Valet is 50 bucks a night. 40 if you want to self park...

Overall it is a nice hotel to stay. The only complaint I have is breakfast. The quality is not great, first time I had French toast using a pound cake ☹️. The bill for breakfast for 4 of us was $124, and to be honest, nothing really stands out, nothing fantastic except prices.

We were there for my husband’s appointment at MD Anderson. The front desk and valet were very friendly. The room was very clean. We did have a cheeseburger from the restaurant the first night. We had been traveling and it was late. The staff was very friendly at the restaurant too, but the cheeseburger was dry and overpriced. The only issue we had was the bed was very firm and the staff kept coming into our room without knocking for no reason. It happened 4 times. We were there for 3 nights.
