I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel check in was smooth, rooms were clean and spacious, it includes breakfast, there’s a nice dining/bar area with a TV. I didn’t appreciate the $15 parking charge. Ridiculous, did I get here walking? Neighborhood is a typical college town with loud music and students walking around. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Both property and room not clean and the area around is not very safe so you have to use your room key almost all the TJ e to get in the main building. AC not working in gym, no water in the gym, and no towels or way to sanitize workout area. Breakfast used paper plates which probably was a good thing bc silverware and bowls were not clean. No one ever wiped down tables in between people sitting and had to share condiments with other tables. My room had multiple issues with cleanliness and things not working. Bathroom slider wouldn’t move so couldn’t close door, toilet paper holder bent so toilet paper kept Falling on the floor, huge microwave on counter bc the one installed in the kitchen didn’t work, closet had horrible smell that I tried to air out but didn’t work so couldn’t use closet, dishes in the kitchen not clean, creamer for coffee soiled, hair in the shower, sticky stuff in kitchen floor, services very dusty, window sills had dead bugs and hair and the list goes on.

The hotel is nice and clean and the staff was very attentive and nice. Only thing is that you will be charged a nightly parking fee of $20 and parking at the hotel gets full quickly and you will have to park accross the street. Breakfast is complimentary.

There were cockroaches in the room. The room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Had dirty towels. Hair scrunchies. And other personal effects. The room blinds were not working, previous customer must have messed something up. The parking wasn’t good. And major construction in surrounding area. Do not recommend to stay here. Can’t believe a Hyatt has cockroaches.

Two years after first stay area still under construction. So bewarned. The hotel needs to better clean, 1 bed had sheets that should of been tossed(stained) and shower head is in need of replacing that washing hair took forever and daughter did not dare wash her super thick hair. She NEVER would of been able to rinsed it out.

Overall the property was in pretty good condition. But I feel like our personal room wasn’t cleaned well before we entered. It was dusty and there were like stains on the wall that could’ve easily been wiped off because I did so. Also I called for clean towels which never came. Our second queen bed sheets were stained. It wasnt nasty but it could’ve been better and more care taken. Breakfast was really good.

The location of this hotel was great very close to a grocery store and several restaurants. Housekeeping is something to be desired. I went out and bought my own cleaning supplies to clean myself. Basically, the only thing they did was make the bed and put new sheets on trash was left from the previous guest along with dishes in the dishwasher.

There is a new restaurant across the street that has extremely loud music playing outside on the patio immediately outside the windows of one side of the hotel. The music played on past midnight. The second night I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do but they said since it wasn’t on their property they couldn’t get the music turned down. We paid between $350-400 per night and that loud noise was really frustrating when we were trying to sleep and such a disappointment.

Really like the King Studio Suite room! Unfortunately, the microwave didn’t work. That was a little inconvenient. Otherwise, I was very happy with the Hyatt House.

The staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately this was wiped out by the service. We arrived at 7pm and the rooms were not ready. I had to wait for an hour to check in. In the middle of my first night around 1130pm customers opened my room door and told me that the front desk gave them my room. I'm understanding so i received a call from the manager offering to wave the parking fees which was cool. My stay was from thursday to tuesday with cleaning service is offered every other day. Issue is no one came to clean the room. On the third day i went to the front desk to ask for service and was told that the washer was brokenand the towels were not ready. I informed Saturday evening and didnt get towels until monday afternoon.

Front desk staff unavailable. After chasing me into the breakfast area to charge my room for a soda I tried to pay for, the front desk clerk disappeared and apparently left the property. I had to give the food service person my key and room number along with 2 other guests and was told the manager would be there within the hour. I’ve grown accustomed to much better service from Hyatt.

Overall my worst Hyatt experience. At first greeted warmly but room was not ready 30 mins before check in, which is understandable. Came back 2 hours after check in and the room was still not ready yet. The client associate, Tighe, was cold and disinterested to ensure I had a quality check in experience. I was told the hotel was short staffed and could not have the room ready. Additionally, 1 elevator was broken and my room once ready did not have a clean smell. The breakfast was not very good the first day. Upon checking out at 6:15am for an early flight I asked if I could grab a banana or cereal from breakfast and was refused by the same staff member, being told breakfast is not available until 6:30. Left with a cup of coffee and a memory to always avoid this hotel when visiting my child at FSU.

We stay at The Hyatt House every time we visit FSU. The location sits right between FSU and FAM. The location is perfect and the hotel’s cleanliness and safety features (e.g. needing your hotel key to access hotel floors) made it a comfortable stay.

A nice hotel, located in a quiet area with convenient access to FSU. The room was large with separate seating and sleeping areas, as well as a small kitchen. Would be a good choice for a longer stay. The surrounding area has some cool shops and stores, it was nice to explore. Free breakfast is a bonus, paid parking not so much, but there was very little choice in the area.

The place advertises $20 self parking. Well....you can get a pass for $20, but there's less than 50 ish spaces to park in, so that's a huge let down. The continental breakfast is not good for people with dietary restrictions.

This is a fabulous property! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The lobby bar is great and convenient after a long drive. The breakfast was really great- hot and cold options. Far superior to other hotel breakfasts. Thank you! I will stay here again when I’m back in Tallahassee.

The breakfast was not sufficient for all guests. We went to the breakfast table at 9 AM. The foods were never replenished once empty.. like the sausage ran out, the bacon was very greasy and just broken few pieces left. Even bread ran out and never replenished. The guests who never ate went to the breakfast table with empty trays of sausage, and greasy bacon with only tid bits left. Stayed at room202 for one night on 5/05/2024 and checked out 05/06/2024

After driving in from Dallas, my kids were starving! The staff at the bar/restaurant were so friendly and helpful. It was late and almost closing time! She insisted on staying open late and feeding my family. The service was friendly and she went out of her way to make us comfortable and fed!

Terrible breakfast. Nothing eatable. Eggs potato all from a pack. Pineapple from cans. Rotten bananas. That’s it for breakfast. No efforts not trying. Just give guests the cheapest and worst food possible. Room slight smelled. Windows cannot open. Think was either the couch or carpet in living room that smelled. Parking $20 a day for a rougher area of town while most other hotels of this level have free parking. At checkout I asked for receipt they were out of ink. Still no receipt. Said they will email to me. Still did not receive. Quite incompetent front desk.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. They charge you $20 for self-parking and the parking area has signs that read "Park at your own risk." That left a really bad taste in my mouth. But they offer complimentary breakfast and water bottles to make up for it, I guess. I did not try the breakfast so I can't comment on it. Bed was cozy. My room had a decent view. They did have a bar which is convenient, but it closes pretty early (10pm).
