$13 a night charge to park is really the only “con” I would give it. Otherwise, very clean and updated. Staff was polite, front doors lock at night for safety purposes. But staff can unlock it when you pick up the phone. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Softball weekend - location of hotel was great. Very new feeling, clean and comfortable. No pool which I did not realize when I booked the reservation but the shower in our room was fabulous.

Love that the gym was cooler. I prefer to run with a fan and hotel gyms are usually very warm. The room had a sound machine. Praise the Lord. I forget mine at home.

Overall the stay here was “fine”. The biggest complaint is that our room was dirty, specifically the bathroom. The shower had areas that had clearly not been cleaned in a while, a makeup brush left behind from previous guest, and cobwebs in corners of the room. The water in our shower would not get hot, we got room temperate at best. The hotel was quiet overall, and I did like the noise machine in the room.

The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and I liked the cabinet that conveniently and discreetly housed a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The shower was a nice size but the bathroom could have been cleaner, especially the floor around the toilet area. The location was convenient for walking downtown but the large population of transient/homeless people hanging around the entrances felt a bit unsafe.

Super close to walkable attractions in the Lansing area, especially the event we attended at Lugnuts stadium. The only complaint was that there was some staining on the wallpaper in the bathroom that looked like something was sprayed on it. This is our 3rd stay in this hotel and the only time I noticed something like this so it was strange and stood out to me.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing from the start. I had to wait almost two hours to check in using the self-service kiosk, which was painfully slow and frustrating. While I waited, another guest who had been locked out of his room was also stuck there. The check-in area was cramped and uncomfortably hot, making the wait even worse. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. Once I finally got to my room, I noticed that the shower curtain was clearly not clean, and the comforter on the bed had stains, which made me question the overall cleanliness and attention to detail.

I was very comfortable here! However, when I tried to take a shower at 7 AM, the water pressure was super low and the temperature ranged from ice cold to super hot. I set the temperature to hot and got a little bit cold and then hot again. It was very confusing for me. Otherwise very satisfied with my stay!

Rooms were clean, comfortable, modern and well equipped with the exception of the shower which was lacking a hand held sprayer. It's something that really makes a difference in my opinion, and when there isn't one I always have to wonder how they actually clean and rinse the shower but that's probably just me. The location was a bit noisy with the train tracks right next to my room but white noise machines were provided which was great. The bistro leaves much to be desired but overall a good experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Loudest street noise of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Busy location across from a rescue mission. Belligerent yelling feom the street all night. Safety was a concern. Security of our vehicle was a concern. Door to room was hung incorrectly and hit the floor less than half way open. People were very nice at the hotel.

Updated and lots of amenities. No pool but we didn’t miss it. Staff was very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. Super comfy, quiet room with modern furniture with nice big TV and lots of plugs, charger ports and lighting options. Even the bathroom was updated with large shower and eco-friendly wall dispensers. Thank you for a great stay!

On the whole experience the stay was comfortable. There was one issue as I had booked thru Expedia and made full payment to Expedia but than also the hotel charged 310 USD as room rent from me at the time of check in. Request Expedia to kindly see in it.

I booked a two night stay for my employee & his family because of work training in the area. Upon arrival in the evening, they were told that the hotel overbooked and the room was cancelled two days ago even though it was prepaid for 1+ months earlier. However, I was never informed of the cancellation. He was able to stay for one night and had to use his own form of payment but then had to find another place to stay. After 3 attempts to call Hotels.com and then being on the phone for 1 hour and 26 minutes, we were finally able to book my employee in a hotel 2 miles away. However, the hassle was not acceptable. He had to check out of one hotel with his wife and baby and then check into a new hotel while at training. Not sure how The Courtyard got away with this and not sure why hotels.com was never informed. I've never had this happen before but now has scared me a little to book a room. Thankfully the woman at hotels.com was very, very nice and helpful but the situation was very stressful.

The staff at the hotel is fantastic! There was - as often a problem with the "Hotel" booking and the staffers helped with remarkable diligence. The area the hotel is in is felt a bit seedy, but the hotel was new and clean. This was another incident of a booking through "Hotel" or "Expedia" causing us problems at check in. Going forward, we are not likely to use them again.

Came for an out of town cheer event, the guest in the room Next door were very loud during the Kate hours of the night. I called the front desk 3 different times informing the front desk that the room next door was still loud and kept waking up my family. The stay was not enjoyable.

We stayed here because it's a stone's throw from the Lugnuts ballpark. The hotel was amazing. A bar and restaurant. Clean spacious comfortable room. Amazingly friendly staff. HIGHLY recommended!

Sorta felt a little unsafe cause behind the hotel where the grocery store is located there were homeless people pestering me for money at least a handful of times and they would wait by the unloading zone. Then in my room the remote control for the TV was horrible, it barely reacted and it took me an hour to get youtube up and link the TV to my phone to use and browse like that. Everything else was great from the bed to shower and store on the same block being open from 7am-10pm. The staff for the bar when i went downstairs to order food they should post a sign for when the kitchen as a cut off time. It was only 5 past 9pm and the bartender said kitchens closed after i waited for a while for any service. Guess he was closing the kitchen while i waited, even checking in the staff didnt tell me that.

The location was great for a Lugnuts baseball game. I would not have felt safe walking alone at night outside the hotel. I feel it was overpriced.

The price started out at $87 per night online. That became $107, which we expected for tax and fees. Then we added $10 per person for breakfast since they was not continental breakfast. When we arrived, there was no record of us purchasing breakfast. When we got that straightened out we found out it was just a credit towards breakfast, and only covered about half the cost. Then we had to pay $16.50 per night to park. So the $87 stay quickly became more than $150.

Being attached to Meijers was extremely convenient. It would have been FANTASTIC if there your facility offered free breakfast. While I understand your need to have income, charging $9.50 for a yogurt is a bit excessive.
