The hotel experience was different but it was good. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. My major complaint is that I was called 2 hours and 30 minutes before check in time to inform me that the swimming pool was not working or available. The person who called said if I decided to cancel my reservation I would not be penalized and I would receive my entire deposit back. Although I appreciated that call and would have been outraged to find that the pool would be closed and unavailable when I arrived, I don’t appreciate that I was informed of this situation practically at the time of arrival. I didn’t have time to search for another Hotel. I booked the hotel room primarily because it was a new facility with a Pool. I had a grandchild with me and this was a feature that we looked forward to doing. I paid full price for the room, no financial compensation was offered or made and this changed the whole aura of our trip. The only reason we didn’t cancel the reservation was because we were called two and a half hours before we arrived.so I must say this lead to a disappointing stay.

The staff was very friendly. Even with our late arrival and check-in, greeted by a smile. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Coffee and water (24hrs) was a great benefit. Parking is limited if you are traveling on a busy weekend. Be ready to park in the surrounding neighborhood. Shower door leaked onto the bathroom floor but staff was willing to change our room. Overall, close to the stockyard and nice hotel. We would stay there again.

The hotel was nice and clean. It had great parking and was in a safe area. The rooms were very small though (no drawers or closet) and the heated indoor pool was ice cold. They either need to heat it or take “heated” off of the website.

I went to take a shower and it was just filthy like not welcoming at all and for the amount I paid for the room I am pretty upset about that I traveled 4 hours to get to this place and booked it based off reviews and after the presentation of the shower I will not back in my opinion the shower is the most important part of the room that needs to be the cleaness outside of the room

The hotel was VERY clean!! Its a newer hotel but nonetheless it was very clean and well kept. I am extremely hard to please when it comes to hotel but i definitely enjoyed my stay. My favorite part in our room was the luggage hooks on the wall!! Super convenient. Nice location and felt safe. The breakfast was good as well. Not the normal buffet style but they did have egg bites and egg omlets. They also had the usual bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal, grits, juice and milk. All in all i really enjoyed my stay, if you book here you will too!!

Woke up with ants everywhere. There were close to 100 ants. They made it in the comforter and my guest and i’s items. Stayed on the second floor room 221. This hotel is also very average. The amenities aren’t the best quality. I would recommend staying at a Hilton or holiday inn. The employees are kind and I did receive a refund but after having to ask for one.

Arrived and the first room was very dirty. When we went to the other room, it was just as dirty. The toilet didnt want to flush half of the time, the bathroom door was sticking and wouldn't lock. The room also needed a key card on a slot for power or your power didn't work. Some outlets didnt work, and you can definitely tell it was new construction but no one did a walkthrough.

Everything was great overall, bed super comfy & service very friendly. 2 things kept from 5 stars: while clean. There was still food/leftovers in the fridge from the prior guest. At check in no one at the desk & after waiting about 10 min I tried calling hotel before someone came out.

Hotel was new and modern with a good selection for breakfast. One problem is: they did little or no soundproofing in between rooms. all neighbors could be heard quite clear. hacking, coughing, snoring, talking, yelling all could be heard at all hours and quite clearly. Also heavy walking and flushing in rooms around us could also be heard. A few extra steps when building this hotel could have helped make this a great place to stay. based off of the experience I would be reluctant to stay here again as clean and as friiendly as the staff was.

The location is convenient, room is new & clean. Great free breakfast with many choices. I don't give 5 stars because the room is small, only enough space for 2 queen beds. There's no closet for hanging clothes. You might trip with 2 large luggage because the only place you can keep it is between your bed & the restroom.( luckily, I had only 2 carryon)

Really nice and quiet newer hotel. Was a little concerned seeing broken tempered glass in the parking lot ( a sure sign of a break-in) but the lot was never full and there was plenty of parking. A great hotel for a great price- close to downtown without downtown prices and lack of parking. Ride shares to downtown were $7-15 versus parking of $10/hr. The only downside of the room- despite having a king bed, there were 4 hangers and no closet or drawers, so we had to live out of the suitcase.

The bed was very comfy, great pillows! The shower was a bit annoying! While it had great hot water, the shower head was very high and hard to reach to adjust and a lot of water got on the floor! The towels were pretty sad... very thin and not very absorbent! The room itself was good sized although there was a lot of empty space on the one side... would have been nice to have a chair or table there. The breakfast was good! Not a lot of variety but consistent with scrambled eggs, potatoes and either sausage patties or bacon crumbles each day. Good juice selection, fresh fruit, mini muffins, toast , bagels etc. The staff was friendly but could have been a little more! Location was good for our purpose, in the middle of a bunch of refurbished condos near the Stockyards and downtown! Would definitely stay again!

A nice, clean modern hotel. More of a business hotel than family. Pool was like an ice bath - way too cold for kids to swim. Hotel rooms are very clean, but small. Right next to a railroad tracks. If you’re a light sleeper be prepared to hear the train throughout the night.

Rooms are very small. Apparently alarm clocks must be set in everyroom because starting at 5am this morning we lisened to them going off for 2 hours. The walls are so thin you could hear them all. It was super annoying.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is not too large, so quality is in check. Free parking was appreciated as several area hotels required paid valet. The rooms were well designed and comfortable. My only criticism are the lightbulbs in the room. They were harsh like a convenient store. The blackout curtains worked very well and encouraged rest. The complimentary breakfast was superb! There is something for everyone: fruit, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, Jimmy Dean biscuit sandwiches, vegetarian omelet (thank you for this), yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, still and sparkling water etc. It is an intelligent array. The staff was excellent: from the front desk, those overseeing breakfast, property maintenance and cleaning. We would stay here again and consider other avid properties in the future.

Biggest gripe was front desk hospitality. Dealt with (2) people and both weren’t helpful and felt they went out of they way to be unfriendly. Rooms were very small and not a place to relax other than bed itself. Plus - air conditioning ran great and showers were nice.

We weren’t allowed to check in unless we wrote our credit card information down for the security deposit. The manager was not willing to budge on this at all no matter how uncomfortable it made us. We had no choice we already paid and we needed to get my kids settled. The room wasn’t clean when we got in there. There was black hair everywhere on the beds and in the bathroom was a huge wad of black hair in the trash can with no bag. They came right up and cleaned the entire room and left us waters and candy as a sorry. We appreciated them cleaning it so quickly however I think the bad experience with leaving our personal information at the beginning at her not allowing us to check in without it just left us not happy the entire stay.

Good, new hotel about 7 minutes from the Stockyards. Very clean, cool decor. Good little shop in the lobby for snacks, coffee, etc. Parking was great and safe, could get right next to the entry door. The whole neighborhood had new, upscale condos next to it, so for a close to downtown stay, it felt much safer. Check in was less than 5 minutes.

We travel to Ft. Worth for medical visits. We love staying at this hotel. It is in a quiet neighborhood and very accommodating. Sundance Square is a 15 minute easy walk through a nice neighborhood.

This property did what it said on the tin. I liked having the 24 hour coffee. Breakfast was good, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc. I did eat fairly early around 6:30-7AM so not sure how long supplies lasted. I was on the opposite side of the hotel from the railroad tracks so it wasn't too noisy. I walked in to the convention center each day. It took about 20 min. It was hot, but felt plenty safe. I thought my stay was good value for money.

avid hotel downtown Fort Worth is located in an upscale apartment/town home community. Seemed very safe. This hotel offers limited free onsite lighted parking with additional parking across the street in the school lot. avid hotel downtown Forth Worth was exceptionally clean throughout. The room, with a king size bed, was quaint and well appointed. All of the staff (front desk (check-in & out), (pantry staff at breakfast),(housekeeping) were professional and courteous. The breakfast buffet was a hit. A minor inconvenience was elevator 1 not working. I enjoyed my stay at and I highly recommend avid hotel downtown Fort Worth.

This is a great hotel. Safe area, super clean, and the front desk staff the evening we checked in were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfy and the AC was cold. Would definitely stay here again!
