While it could have been worse, we were disappointed in our stay. It appeared clean at first, but as we stayed we noticed garbage under the coffee table, cobwebs in the bathroom, and a layer of grease on the kitchen cabinets. The lighting is poor in this basement unit, so it very much felt like you were in a basement. The kitchen was poorly stocked, most cabinets were empty. The wifi worked the first 2 days, but not for the remaining 6 we stayed. We had a very weak response from the owner, telling us to connect to another network with the same password, but none worked. The sheet of unit information left on the table contradicted all communication from the owner or in the listing, as if they couldn’t be bothered to keep up with the place. The building is advertised as secure, but the front door does not lock. The unit lock was acceptable. The air conditioner vented through the basement window, making the window unlocked. I would not have felt safe staying there alone. It’s not located in a residential area, but it worked for our needs. Overall, it wasn’t bad enough for us to relocate during our stay, but we wouldn’t return.
