The host was easy to work with. Kitchen left a lot to be desired especially over thanksgiving with 8 people. We could have worked around that more easily if the refrigerator had shelves in the door for more storage. Also there were was no can opener and only 2 kitchen wash cloths and 2 kitchen towels. Overall the “ high touch areas” could have been cleaner. Nothing was obviously dirty, however. And was a great set up for a large group.

We really enjoyed our time here but there are a lot of things that need to be fixed and cleaned up and this house would be an absolute dream home. Let me start with the good things. The host is phenomenal, very responsive, the easiest check in ever, and communicated extremely well. The location is extremely nice and in a very quaint little cove at the north end of the lake. It did take sometime to get to sand bars and such but it was a nice drive. The gritty: The upstairs bedroom on the right has numerous mouse traps all over the floors upstairs. The hot tub did not work and was never told that until we tried to use it. It is also full of leaves and debris. They said they were waiting on a part so it was down the entire trip. The washing machine did not work, it did not spin the water off the clothes so we have a load of clothes that are soaked and had to be hung to dry before going in the dryer. Bring your own detergent if this gets fixed. We had a lot of bugs in the upstairs rooms but I think this may be something that is inevitable on an older lake home Also recommend installing a key pad on the downstairs door so when you go out on the boat you can lock up as there are no keys. The host was awesome and took care of our issues with ease, actually above and beyond. Still awaiting a pending refund. But overall I would book this place again with the issues we had fixed.
