Stayed 1 night

My family and I were very excited about the private 2.5 acre retreat with lush palms, pool, play train and tortoises. Pulling up from the street, the main house and property looked cool. Once exiting the car, there was an older couple in the oversized garage working on appliances? And had to veer around dog poop to get to front door (we have 3 dogs at home so used to dog poop but not expecting piles of it when walking up to a “vacation casita”. When pushing 1 number for access code to front door, door just opens. Casita looked clean, with very very strong chemical smell. Walked out other exit door from casita to pool. Pool was very rusty and then heard and then saw at least 4 large barking dogs jumping up on sliding door with view to pool, inside with a man , which we assume is owner inside main house telling them to stop. At that point, my husband and I looked at each other. Grabbed our kids and stuff and left! Very uncomfortable and disappointing situation!!! Was not private at all, and pictures of pool were not accurate. We didn’t stop to take time to take pictures of all of this. Hopefully they can fix a few things so the next vacation renter has a better experience and can stay at this “private” retreat.

Andrew was amazing and the property was perfect! Not to mention, great distance from Salt River.

My partner and I had a great stay with Andrew. The location was good, and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was fun seeing wildlife around the property, and the place had a lot of unique character. The only downside was that the shower was very small—my partner is large and he could not fit comfortably. He had to do some sink bathing.
