I lived in Houghton for 28 years. We recently moved, but have a daughter attending Michigan Tech. This location is absolutely perfect when coming back. We could walk anywhere downtown. We had dedicated parking right out back. The unit was beautiful. We will definitely stay when we come back up if available.

Fully equipped, clean and cozy apartment conveniently located in downtown Houghton. Our family of three stayed four nights. There are two parking places in the back where you enter the premises. We liked the convenience of being downtown and walking everywhere including along the water down to Michigan Tech. The apartment is fully equipped. It is directly next to another one so you could hear people walking around which wasn’t an issue during the day, but sometimes at night or early morning you could hear them. Also, beds in both rooms are doubles which is a little small for two adults. Lexi our host was very accessible and communicative. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this property.

We had a great time in the Houghton area with this apartment as our home base! The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and bars and the riverfront, and the parking was easy in and out once we figured it out (read the host instructions before you drive in). The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. I highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay for our son's ski camp at Mont Ripley. This building has loads of character. The host was very responsive, and the condo was clean and well-stocked: plenty of towels, bedding, blankets, and ICE. Check-in, building access, and parking was *so* easy. Great kitchen, comfy beds, and a fantastic shower. The stackable washer and dryer was a major plus. This apartment was the perfect place for our girls weekend trip to Houghton! The space itself was not only spacious and beautiful, but super clean upon arrival. We were so thankful for the variety of kitchenware as well as the abundance of bathroom linens. Additionally, the location was amazing! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown in 15 minutes or less. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

Everything was top notch. Communication was on point. One of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in!. Awesome view of the lift bridge, day or night. The proximity to dining and shopping on Main Street could not be better situated. "IF" you are a light sleeper, it's possible you'll hear sounds from the cars going by on the bricks that make up Main Street Houghton. There is at least 1 box fan (maybe 2, didn't look for it) in the room we slept in, turn that on medium and it drowns out any outside noise from the street. The building is renovated from the copper boom, it would be awesome if there was some history on the building in the form of some wall art. The only thing that would've made it better, but even so, would be a king bed in one of the rooms. Looking forward to future visits, hope it's available when we want to come back.

All of the thoughtful details made it feel like we were treating ourselves to a beautiful vacation while at the same time enjoying the comforts of home. Newly renovated -- amazing open, well-appointed kitchen. Beautiful wood floors. Inviting blend of old character and new finishes. We really enjoyed the stay and the property was great! It was as good or better than the photos. The unit it is in a great location, within walking distance of all the downtown Houghton popular spots. The large living room window overlooks the Portage and the lift bridge. The host was amazing and helpful. When we had inclement weather and our departure was delayed they were right there to help us extend our stay an extra night, making it as easy as possible. We will definitely be staying here again for future visits.

This was a great place to stay for our son's ski camp at Mont Ripley. This building has loads of character. The host was very responsive, and the condo was clean and well-stocked: plenty of towels, bedding, blankets, and ICE. Check-in, building access, and parking was *so* easy. Great kitchen, comfy beds, and a fantastic shower. The stackable washer and dryer was a major plus. We were centrally located in downtown Houghton, within walking distance of nearly every place we wanted to go and less than a 5-minute drive to the ski area. The host provides lots of games, which came in handy for the unexpected rainy day. We loved our stay and plan to return for next year's camp!

Everything was top notch. Communication was on point. One of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in!. Awesome view of the lift bridge, day or night. The proximity to dining and shopping on Main Street could not be better situated. "IF" you are a light sleeper, it's possible you'll hear sounds from the cars going by on the bricks that make up Main Street Houghton. There is at least 1 box fan (maybe 2, didn't look for it) in the room we slept in, turn that on medium and it drowns out any outside noise from the street. The building is renovated from the copper boom, it would be awesome if there was some history on the building in the form of some wall art. The only thing that would've made it better, but even so, would be a king bed in one of the rooms. Looking forward to future visits, hope it's available when we want to come back.

This was the perfect location for a quick mid-winter trip to Houghton to see our boys at MTU. Property was exactly as described and communication with the owner was excellent and thorough. The location was centrally located downtown, in walking distance of everything in town, and perfect for easily getting out of town, for excursions that included snowshoeing the Tech Trails and ripping runs at Ripley and Boho.

I lived in Houghton for 28 years. We recently moved, but have a daughter attending Michigan Tech. This location is absolutely perfect when coming back. We could walk anywhere downtown. We had dedicated parking right out back. The unit was beautiful. We will definitely stay when we come back up if available.

We really enjoyed the stay and the property was great! It was as good or better than the photos. The unit it is in a great location, within walking distance of all the downtown Houghton popular spots. The large living room window overlooks the Portage and the lift bridge. The host was amazing and helpful. When we had inclement weather and our departure was delayed they were right there to help us extend our stay an extra night, making it as easy as possible. We will definitely be staying here again for future visits.

My husband and I loved the suite/apartment! It is a beautifully renovated space in downtown Houghton - a clean, fresh and inviting area to stay! The huge windows offer a wonderful view of town, the Portage and the lift bridge. We had an easy walk to all our destinations, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Thank you!

Such a cute stylish and modern place. Everything is updated great kitchen appliances and cookware allowed us to eat in. Love the location overlooking the river and downtown Houghton walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It’s a place for both families and couples.

This lovely downtown apartment was an amazing home base -- luxurious, super-clean, and comfortable -- as we visited our kids' family and explored the area. All of the thoughtful details made it feel like we were treating ourselves to a beautiful vacation while at the same time enjoying the comforts of home. We were so thankful for the variety of kitchenware as well as the abundance of bathroom linens. Additionally, the location was amazing! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown in 15 minutes or less. We will definitely be booking here again in the future!

The apartment was fantastic! Right across from the Ambassador, it was an easy spot to walk and drive from. Hosts were very responsive to our few questions. Went to see our MTU student and attend winter carnival. Highly recommend this spot!

Great location, comfortable accommodations, some extra backups of paper towel and kitchen items would be helpful as the paper towel was almost empty when we arrived and ran out during our stay. Also the box of storage bags was empty in the drawer. Will likely stay again when back in town.
