The Mitchell House was an amazing place to stay and the township of Lebanon was picturesque. We were a family of 6 and there was ample room for us to relax and not feel as if we were on top of each other. The home provided comfortable furniture and everything needed to fix meals for our gang. Communication with the owner/property manager was flawless and we did not want for anything. We will definitely stay again.
The Mitchell House was an amazing place to stay and the township of Lebanon was picturesque. We were a family of 6 and there was ample room for us to relax and not feel as if we were on top of each other. The home provided comfortable furniture and everything needed to fix meals for our gang. Communication with the owner/property manager was flawless and we did not want for anything. We will definitely stay again.

This home and host are amazing. From the moment I booked till our check out the house had everything we needed and more. The host provided little extras to make our stay so enjoyable we felt at home. (we didn't want to leave) So clean and the beds very comfortable as well as the furniture, relax. Perfect location walk to everything you need. The hosts were right there if you needed something extremely accommodating. thank you Rock star hosts and home. we'll be back

The house is just wonderful - photos are very true to the property condition and the location was perfect. We were a bit worried about the on-street parking, but we stayed for over a week and never had a problem parking two cars directly in front of the house. The home is in great condition, and is very well appointed. The mattresses were awesome, and we had a fantastic time. The host was very responsive and helped us out several times. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the General Mitchell house for a week over Memorial Day while my wife and I were in town on business. With our seven-year old and grandma in tow, we found the perfect place to stay! The location was wonderful - just a block from all the downtown shops and restaurants, yet in a fairly quiet and peaceful location. It was also within walking distance to parks, open space and trails. The house itself was clean, well-stocked and perfect for a group our size, or even a little bigger. Mandi was an attentive host and communication was excellent. Check in/out was a breeze too. If you’re in the Warren County area, it’s hard to find a better place. We were working in Mason, which was a 10-15 drive away, but you just can’t beat the location of this place. If our travels bring us back to the area, we’ll surely look to stay here again as our first choice!

Perfect location a short jaunt from I-71 on 4-lane highway into Lebanon, which has several local restaurants downtown. Immaculate condition. Great TV room with huge, comfortable L-couch. One large bathroom downstairs is separated from the two bedrooms upstairs; smaller bathroom is upstairs, both have good showers. Stairs were steep but manageable. Eat-in kitchen was large and well-equipped. We enjoyed the historical charm of the place and would stay here again. of the place.

The 6 of us really enjoyed our overnight trip. We were very pleased with the location of your home, which was within minutes of the many little shops and restaurants. Your home provided everything we needed to cook our breakfast food that we brought along. Loved how you incorporated the new decor in with the old decor, which was an added pleasure. Brought my aunt to visit Lebanon and meet up with family. In two short days we felt like we had been at a resort for a week! So nice to have good places to eat/drink within walking distance. The home is decorated perfectly, it’s spotless, and has everything you could need. Will definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at this lovely VRBO. The pictures are accurate and almost do not do justice to just how beautiful this property is. Located in the heart of downtown Lebanon, this historic home is quite spacious, with 3 bedrooms on the second floor, two updated full bathrooms and an updated kitchen. The air conditioning worked quite well and the beds were very comfortable. The VRBO had everything we needed for our stay, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, range and smart tv’s. The historic downtown is a quick walk away to good restaurants, ice cream shops, coffee bar, and the kind of niche shopping you can only find in a historic town like this. Very walkable, safe area around the home. A Kroger grocery, CVS, gas stations and typical fast food restaurants are only a couple of miles away. Kings Island is about a 15 minute drive and the Cincinnati/Kentucky airport about a 45 minute drive. We loved our stay and only wish we had an extra day to spend in the area.

We were just blown-away by this gorgeous place. Husband and I stayed the week for son's soccer tourny, and it was perfect, perfect, perfect. Very quiet, super clean, and beautifully decorated. Wish we could have just sat in the house and enjoyed it more! Maybe next year. Big bed was super comfy! Thank you for an awesome week!

I can’t even begin to explain how much my family and I enjoyed staying here. This house was exactly what we were looking for. Gorgeous house, so clean, super cool history behind it! Everything was a small walk away! Charming little town. Hosts were beyond accommodating, helpful and responsive. Would totally stay again! Already recommended it to other family members.

This house was incredible. Each room had its own aesthetic yet it was all cohesive together as a home. The host was excellently communicative and friendly. They even left snacks in the kitchen! Lots of cute restaurants in the area. Quiet street overall.

Lebanon was a very pleasant surprise and the General Mitchel House was lovely. The owners have kept the style and integrity of this historic property but made very comfortable updates to both bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and central air. My daughter said the bed was the most comfortable bed she’s had in several trips. You can rock on the porch and listen to the cicadas or snuggle up on the couches and read up on the history of the area. There are televisions but honestly we didn’t turn them on-too many better ways to spend the time. Downtown is a block away and absolutely charming. Everyone we met was friendly and kind. The atmosphere and food at the Golden Lamb/Black Horse Tavern was very good. Be sure to go upstairs and check out the presidential and other historic suites-Charles Dickens, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, and George W. Bush to name a few. During our stay there was a music festival just down the alley-lots of fun-but most important, from the house we didn’t hear a thing. We will definitely stay here again when in the Cincinnati area. Thanks Mandi and Todd for sharing this wonderful historic home!

Very well appointed. Spacious, tastefully decorated, would book this property again in a heartbeat. Was here for my husband's retirement as a little getaway. Walking distance to everything in downtown Lebanon. Loved the fact that it is a historical home.

My friends and I took a trip to Lebanon for a birthday. We had such a great time. This house is absolutely beautiful. It’s so comfortable and wonderfully updated. It is one street over from everything in town. The location is perfect!!! Mandi was so great! She made everything so smooth with check in and even messaged to ask us if we needed anything. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be sorry!!!

The General Mitchel Historic Home was perfect. The host/owner was wonderful. She kept in contact with us and assured us if we needed anything, to email her. There was no concerns because the house was perfect. The decor of the house was beautiful! We loved visiting Lebanon.

I can’t even begin to explain how much my family and I enjoyed staying here. This house was exactly what we were looking for. Gorgeous house, so clean, super cool history behind it! Everything was a small walk away! Charming little town. Hosts were beyond accommodating, helpful and responsive. Would totally stay again! Already recommended it to other family members.

The house is just wonderful - photos are very true to the property condition and the location was perfect. We were a bit worried about the on-street parking, but we stayed for over a week and never had a problem parking two cars directly in front of the house. The home is in great condition, and is very well appointed. The mattresses were awesome, and we had a fantastic time. The host was very responsive and helped us out several times. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the General Mitchell house for a week over Memorial Day while my wife and I were in town on business. With our seven-year old and grandma in tow, we found the perfect place to stay! The location was wonderful - just a block from all the downtown shops and restaurants, yet in a fairly quiet and peaceful location. It was also within walking distance to parks, open space and trails. The house itself was clean, well-stocked and perfect for a group our size, or even a little bigger. Mandi was an attentive host and communication was excellent. Check in/out was a breeze too. If you’re in the Warren County area, it’s hard to find a better place. We were working in Mason, which was a 10-15 drive away, but you just can’t beat the location of this place. If our travels bring us back to the area, we’ll surely look to stay here again as our first choice!

Lebanon was a very pleasant surprise and the General Mitchel House was lovely. The owners have kept the style and integrity of this historic property but made very comfortable updates to both bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and central air. My daughter said the bed was the most comfortable bed she’s had in several trips. You can rock on the porch and listen to the cicadas or snuggle up on the couches and read up on the history of the area. There are televisions but honestly we didn’t turn them on-too many better ways to spend the time. Downtown is a block away and absolutely charming. Everyone we met was friendly and kind. The atmosphere and food at the Golden Lamb/Black Horse Tavern was very good. Be sure to go upstairs and check out the presidential and other historic suites-Charles Dickens, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, and George W. Bush to name a few. During our stay there was a music festival just down the alley-lots of fun-but most important, from the house we didn’t hear a thing. We will definitely stay here again when in the Cincinnati area. Thanks Mandi and Todd for sharing this wonderful historic home!

Perfect location a short jaunt from I-71 on 4-lane highway into Lebanon, which has several local restaurants downtown. Immaculate condition. Great TV room with huge, comfortable L-couch. One large bathroom downstairs is separated from the two bedrooms upstairs; smaller bathroom is upstairs, both have good showers. Stairs were steep but manageable. Brought my aunt to visit Lebanon and meet up with family. In two short days we felt like we had been at a resort for a week! So nice to have good places to eat/drink within walking distance. The home is decorated perfectly, it’s spotless, and has everything you could need. Will definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at this lovely VRBO. The pictures are accurate and almost do not do justice to just how beautiful this property is. Located in the heart of downtown Lebanon, this historic home is quite spacious, with 3 bedrooms on the second floor, two updated full bathrooms and an updated kitchen. The air conditioning worked quite well and the beds were very comfortable. The VRBO had everything we needed for our stay, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, range and smart tv’s. The historic downtown is a quick walk away to good restaurants, ice cream shops, coffee bar, and the kind of niche shopping you can only find in a historic town like this. Very walkable, safe area around the home. A Kroger grocery, CVS, gas stations and typical fast food restaurants are only a couple of miles away. Kings Island is about a 15 minute drive and the Cincinnati/Kentucky airport about a 45 minute drive. We loved our stay and only wish we had an extra day to spend in the area.

Very well appointed. Spacious, tastefully decorated, would book this property again in a heartbeat. Was here for my husband's retirement as a little getaway. Walking distance to everything in downtown Lebanon. Loved the fact that it is a historical home.

This house was absolutely perfect. I loved everything about it. We had a family get together for my nieces wedding. Ended up with a few more last minute attendees and we were worried about space. It worked out just fine. Beautiful town and next time we want to come just to relax and explore. Highly recommend this historical property!
