Loved the room and inside the hotel. Staff were very nice and polite even though most couldnt speak englihj and just pointed at things. The outside area was empty jinky lots. No curb appeal. Parking was in a lot across the street that cost.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. I really enjoyed the spacious room and the comfy feeling. The swimming pool was small, but the balcony with the gas grills was great.

Parking lot wasn’t very suitable for parking a trailer and the need for a gate code was inconvenient. Arrived late at night and you have to walk across the road and down a bit to get to the hotel. Had no extra bedding for the pull out sofa and staff wasn’t too pleased about bringing it when we called. They brought only one pillow. Only one tiny trash can in the whole suite. Large orange stain next to one of the beds on the carpet and some of the bedding was not clean. Overall, I would not stay again but I’m sure it would be a fine stay for some.

This is a very nice property. We stayed 4/2025 and it is a newer property. They have controlled parking across the street. We did not bring a pet, but noticed a number of people did and it appeared to be very pet friendly. The continental breakfast was the standard breakfast, but was a well kept area. Room was very comfortable.

The hotel was great. Great breakfast options. The rooms were spacious and clean. Amenities were good with workout room and pool. Spacious for groups to enjoy time near the lobby. Only concern was the shower was slick. Would recommend having something on the surface to make it less slick.

The front desk staff were friendly and the check-in process was easy. Our room was clean and very nice. I loved the little kitchen area and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was easy, as the hotel has its own lot right across the street. I was also impressed by the number of options for breakfast and it was an area that was close to Iowa's campus, which was convenient for us. We will definitely stay again when we return to the Iowa City area.

Great hotel. Clean, newer. Close to shops, restaurants. Great outdoor seating area. Only thing not a fan of is the checking in process. Finding a spot to park to check in then get a code to get into the parking lot is a bit of a pain. But overall, still a very nice place

One of the room’s wall controls wouldn’t allow us to operate the window shades. We realized it was the battery in the control, but we contacted the front desk and he, even though maintenance wasn’t on site, was able to secure replacement batteries to remedy the situation. Breakfast was very good-many options, plenty of seating at clean tables. The pool floor tiles are slippery! But the pool was very clean with plenty of towels. The area around the hotel seemed very nice, plenty of restaurants and parking. We would definitely stay there again!

We paid quite a bit to stay there for the weekend. Friday and Saturday night no sleep was to be had. There appeared to be a baseball tournament nearby. The entire hotel was over run by 10 year old boys, jumping up and down above our room, running up and down the halls all night long, knocking on our door and running off. When I called the front desk I could barely even hear the person who answered because of the parents in the lobby, I was told they would see what they could do but it did not stop the running up and down the halls and door knocking. Also, we paid 5 dollars a night to park in a private lot, but the gate to said lot stood open all weekend for anyone to park.

Front desk employee was kind of rude when i voiced my concern about paying for parking. When booking there was no mention that you would be charged to park in the hotel parking lot. Hotel was clean and breakfast was better than average. The bed was a hodge podge! The bed was not that comfortable. Loved the TV big Large since so far away from the bed. The closet door was broken, so couldn’t shut it.

Very nice hotel! Room was spacious with a separate bedroom, very large bathroom and full kitchen. Breakfast was nice with several options. Great place to stay for families. It was nice and quiet with lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance.

The TV in the Master bedroom did not have work. Also for some reason we had housekeeping knock on our door at around 9 AM asking when we would be leaving. We had to be checked out by noon so I was confused why she was even knocking our door and asking!!? That part made us very unhappy. We more then likely won’t be staying here again because of that. The rooms and hotel were clean and front desk staff was very helpful!!

The carpet had some red stains, the streaming on the tv was not working and when we complain with the main desk he was nice but not helpful at all. The second night we complain about the fridge making noises and not letting us sleep and the same person just left a note for maintance who did not came to check. By night time front desk person was different and totally lovely and switch us in 2 sec to a totally different room that had working tv and not noisy fridge. Other than that was pretty good. Area is walkable, lots of food options has a nature trail 2 min away walking. Shopping stores. Kitchen was super clean.

Arrived in the early morning. Reqested early check in days earler and the Hotel was going to work with us. When we arrived the front desk staff had computer problems and we waited an hour while a rude frustrated staff person called managers to try to figure it out. Ask repeatedly why we used a third party booking service. No maid service Friday-Sunday. AC issues, toilet issues, outlets near the bathroom mirror didnt work. TV remote didnt work. When we finally got maid service they left the door open. Some of the front desk staff were very rude.

Came 40 minutes prior to check in time and they wouldn’t even check if room was available. I had a reservation. Wasn’t sure if sheets were fresh or not. Staff are not friendly. No ice in freezer so had to start ice machine.
