What a great place to create family memories. We were in town for a family enduro and to look at OU. This house met all of our needs and more. We enjoyed hours of fishing, late night hot tubbing, grilling, friendly games of cornhole/basketball, and watching the deer frolic in the field. George was great at communication before and during our stay. As a mom, the cleanliness was superb, and all the kitchen supplies were provided to make a nice family meal. We will be back!

Much thought has been put into making this guest house a relaxing place to enjoy a getaway near Athens. The hot tub is a treat. The hosts provide a well stocked (and spacious) kitchen. Little touches like soft afghans and candles make the space cozy. The night sky here is beautiful and there is a porch to enjoy for stargazing or just relaxing with a drink or having a picnic supper. Great cabin near Athens. Enjoyed the hills, sounds of nature and local hiking. Able to get to Ohio Heritage graduation ceremonies within 15 minutes. Cabin had many items available for our use. Plenty of kitchen towels! Enjoyed the front porch in morning and evening. Back patio was great for corn hole game. Hot tub was wonderful. House design is perfect for privacy even with three couples. Hosts were terrific.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Ohio University or Hocking Hills. Open floorplan boasts three large bedrooms. Main bedroom with en suite huge bathroom with access to hot tub. My husband and I stayed at the property for the weekend with our 4 children. We were in the area to visit OU. The location was perfect. We could be on the campus in under 15 minutes. But we really enjoyed the quietness of the house and our kids especially loved the hot tub. The place is beautiful, clean and the best stocked VRBO rental we have ever stayed at. There’s a grill for cooking out and all the accommodations to make beautiful meals. We enjoyed the campfire and the hot tub . The house was very clean and neat and well maintained. We very much enjoyed our 3 day stay in this beautiful home while visiting our grandson at Ohio University. There was plenty of space for 3 adult couples, nice porch overlooking a pond, safe walking trails, an inviting hot tub, and much more. Our Vrbo host George was very accommodating throughout our stay.

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect for 3 couples with the rooms having 3 king size beds. That you don't find often. There was plenty of room to park the trucks and trailers that we hauled the Harleys in. Very quiet and peaceful location. Pictures lead me to believe this home was much smaller than it actually is. We would recommend and would defiantly book again.

We had a great time with friends visiting OU and watching the football game. The house is large, and has brand new with nice fixtures / trim. The host was quick to respond and easy to work with. It was our second time there, and I would definitely stay again in the future.

The property was fantastic & we all had a relaxing weekend. The house is amazing with incredible woodwork & all of the amenities you’d ever need. The location is remote enough to get some peace & quiet but close enough to OU to enjoy events going on there too. This home is a favorite location for us when we visit Athens. It is spacious, very clean, and so comfortable! Much thought has been put into making this guest house a relaxing place to enjoy a getaway near Athens. The hot tub is a treat. The hosts provide a well stocked (and spacious) kitchen. Little touches like soft afghans and candles make the space cozy. The night sky here is beautiful and there is a porch to enjoy for stargazing or just relaxing with a drink or having a picnic supper. This home has it all!

The property was fantastic & we all had a relaxing weekend. The house is amazing with incredible woodwork & all of the amenities you’d ever need. The location is remote enough to get some peace & quiet but close enough to OU to enjoy events going on there too. The hosts were great & we would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a stay in the Athens area!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Ohio University or Hocking Hills. Open floorplan boasts three large bedrooms. Main bedroom with en suite huge bathroom with access to hot tub. Cornhole and covered porch offers great conversation areas. Will definitely recommend to those heading down to visit kids at OU. 10 minutes from campus.

The house is well thought out. Really liked having the huge kitchen, large bathrooms and 3 king beds. We enjoyed grilling out and listening to the sounds of nature. Close to Athens for restaurants etc.

My husband and I stayed at the property for the weekend with our 4 children. We were in the area to visit OU. The location was perfect. We could be on the campus in under 15 minutes. But we really enjoyed the quietness of the house and our kids especially loved the hot tub. The place is beautiful, clean and the best stocked VRBO rental we have ever stayed at. The owner got back to us very quickly when we had questions and was friendly and accommodating. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

The house is beautifully located not far from town and convenience. We stayed five nights and it was beautiful. We went to town and bought groceries. There’s a grill for cooking out and all the accommodations to make beautiful meals. We enjoyed the campfire and the hot tub . The house was very clean and neat and well maintained. We are able to sit back and relax and enjoy our time. I would highly recommend this place.!

In Athens for a swim meet and this was close to campus but felt like a mini vacation. Owner was great and helpful. Kitchen is huge and we cooked a lot. Had all the bells and whistles.

What a great place to create family memories. We were in town for a family enduro and to look at OU. This house met all of our needs and more. We enjoyed hours of fishing, late night hot tubbing, grilling, friendly games of cornhole/basketball, and watching the deer frolic in the field. George was great at communication before and during our stay. As a mom, the cleanliness was superb, and all the kitchen supplies were provided to make a nice family meal. We will be back!

A very well stocked kitchen for holiday baking with family! A very gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed. Even left a baking dish for us in the drain rack! Will definitely be back!

The house was as described, kitchen was furnished well with dishes, cups, pots and pans and the bedding was high quality along with the towels. The outside grill needed cleaned and better knobs and as a motorcycle rider would have LOVED to see a blacktopped driveway.

My family and I loved our stay at this home in Athens! The kids loved exploring the pod, we enjoyed bbqs on the porch and the hot tub at night. The house is beautiful inside and exceeded our expectations! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The place was spacious, and relaxing! The kitchen was great. The hot tub was fun. The hosts readily agreed to us relocating our 4 year old grandchild’s birthday party to the house if we had been rained out of Strouds Run. We did not end up needing to, but it was nice to have that as an option. And There was room to park 3 cars side by side. Plus plenty more parking had we needed it.
