We booked this location mainly because my 84 yr old dad was having an early morning medical procedure and always sleeps in a recliner. The recliner availability and the many special touches of the home were so welcoming. It met all of our needs. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy this hideaway!

This is a great apartment. Very spacious, clean, and convenient. It is completely as advertised, but even larger, cleaner, and nicer than I anticipated. The owners have included a lot of extras (snacks, bottled water, fans, toiletries that guests might forget). We had a very nice stay!

This beautiful walkout-out finished basement feels like it’s brand-new, in a very nice, safe neighborhood. It comes with all the comfort you could ask for. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly to any questions. Anything extra you might need is labeled on closet doors and drawers. The bed was SUPER comfortable. I’m saving this one in case we’re ever in the area and need a spot to stay again! 5+++ stars!

I arrived on a Thursday night and departed on a Sunday morning. What a beautiful place! They thought of all the extras! The snacks, popcorn and water were great. I enjoyed sitting on the porch one afternoon which was very relaxing. The extra quilt was great! I highly recommend staying here! If I was in town again I would!

The bed was very comfortable and I didnt want to get up lol. My ex enjoyed the comfy sofa. The basement was very spacious and everything was very clean. Nice touches with the Keurig coffee maker and extra blankets.

This was a very cute, spacious, well decorated place with plenty of privacy in a really nice neighborhood. The extra touches were very nice (snacks, board games to use, movies), and the owners were very kind and friendly making sure our needs were met. This place was above and beyond our expectations. The overall four stars was only because the bed was way too soft and rolled toward the middle which made for some body aches in the morning. I found the love seat recliner to be a better option for sleep. Our son slept on the hide-a-bed with a memory foam topper they provided, and woke with some aches as well. We did not try the airbed, also provided, so that might have been a better option. Again, this was a charming place and the beds were the only concern we had.

There are four of us that come to Columbia every year for the Missouri High School football champiohship games. Finding a hotel can somethimes be difficult, so this year we decided to try something different. Everything worked out great. Peggy was very nice and helpful in accomidating us. Thanks!

I got to Columbia late so I appreciated the seamless check in process. I was just in town for the one day for a ceremony at Mizzou campus. The house was beautiful and very cozy. Given the chance, I would definetly stay here here again!

At we wasn't sure because of the distance from freeway, but looking at the map there was a freeway that connected to the freeway we was to take when leaving and it reduced the time to get where we was going. The property owner communicated with us to call or text them if we need anything. Awesome experience.

I arrived on a Thursday night and departed on a Sunday morning. What a beautiful place! They thought of all the extras! The snacks, popcorn and water were great. I enjoyed sitting on the porch one afternoon which was very relaxing. The extra quilt was great! I highly recommend staying here! If I was in town again I would!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this property again! My daughter is a student at MU so my ex-husband and I went to visit her and car shop. The bed was very comfortable and I didnt want to get up lol. My ex enjoyed the comfy sofa. The basement was very spacious and everything was very clean. Nice touches with the Keurig coffee maker and extra blankets.

Hatteras Hideaway was the perfect accommodation for our family. It was incredibly clean, quiet, and the location was very convenient. Communication with the property owner was extremely prompt and everything was as described in the listing. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Hideaway while in Columbus visiting MIZZOU campus with our daughter. The Hideaway was amazing and if our daughter chooses this college, we know the place we will book everytime we visit. The space is larger than I expected, so clean and well cared for. Very nice personal message from the property owner that welcomes you immediately. Love this place!

This place is awesome!!!!!! Clean and cozy. Perfect location to downtown. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue getting in. We can’t say enough good things about this perfect hideaway!!!!!!!!
