Great little place to stay! My sister and I spent 2 nights here. We just needed a place to sit and stitch! This was perfect. Comfortable living area with good lighting. Extras included a complimentary bottle of wine and an honor bar, stocked with soft drinks, water and booze. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The shower was large with classic black and white tile! Very clean! Decor was funky and we loved the red leather love seat! Highly recommend this VRBO. Also ate at the owner’s restaurant Grapejuice. Very good food and great service!

This was one of the BEST vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in! It’s so cute, well done and has so many thoughtful touches. The bed is SO comfortable. The condo was immaculate, the courtyard was perfect for my little dog to run out first thing in the morning. The beautiful trail along the river is in close walking distance and though i didn’t use them, the owners even provide bikes! I communicated with Keri and she couldn’t have been nicer! What a delightful experience! Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Tuck Away! Everything was just as it was described, very clean and lots of room! Beds are comfy and the bikes are a huge plus because we love the river bike trail! It’s also close to all the shops, restaurants and grocery store.

Great location just across the trails along the Guadalupe river in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a short stay with comfortable bed and nice living space. I loved the backyard with picnic table, swing and outdoor shower. Bikes were available. We invited our sons to come over for pizza and Keri was flexible and allowed us to have guests. I would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing experience in the Tuck-Away over Memorial Day weekend. The unit was the perfect size for the two of us and our small terrier. We added our dog at the last minute and they had bowls and treats waiting for us when we arrived.The living room was very comfortable and included a smart TV where we could use our streaming accounts. Although the refrigerator was on the small side, overall the kitchen was a nice size, including a microwave and Keurig coffee maker, including a selection of HEB brand coffee. There was also an honor bar that provided popular Vodka, Gin, and Tequila brands, as well as some Texas beer and mixers.The bedroom was a very nice size with a comfortable bed and a nice armoire, including a couple of robes. The bathroom was also very nice with a large shower with a rainfall shower head.The yard was gravel, and included a picnic table and a nice seating area and a dart board. There were also three Townie bicycles for us to use. This was particularly nice since the unit was a block away from the Kerrville River Trail.Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We are frequent travelers to Kerrville and will definitely consider this unit (or other Well-Tended Life units) in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. This is the perfect little place to stay for a night or two. Beds were extremely comfortable! We were actually amazed at how well-appointed and sparkling clean this little property is. She does not miss anything - from the stocked coffee bar and honor bar, to the list of local restaurants and so much more. I was not expecting it and was pleasantly surprised. She is an amazing host! Everything was done clearly with the guest in mind from layout, recommendation and checkout lists to a courtesy bottle of wine and incredibly clear directions to property and parking to swing in the yard. Cozy and welcoming. Linens and pillows were awesome as was the bed. Location steps from Guadalupe River path, just lovely. We also enjoyed the hosts' restaurant, Grape Juice, and several of their recommendations on food and activities.

What a perfect place to spend the night before camp drop off. This was our second stay here, and we look forward to coming again. The bed and linens are very comfortable. Cute little place that offers separate bedroom/ living room privacy, as opposed to a motel room. However, since it doesn't have cooking facilities, with all the fees and taxes, it's not a better value than a motel. What it does have is a nice little back yard area, bicycles (which we never used) and a comfortable living area. It is a nice little place to stay, with more room than a motel. Cons- could use a deep cleaning (fuzzy fan blades), back yard cleaned of leaves and the gate latch was broke so it wouldn't stay closed. The neighborhood to the south/west is sketchy too.

Tuck- Away rental was perfect for my husband and I. The location was great for getting around Kerrville and the surrounding area. The outdoor yard was perfect and the sweet welcome sign was a special touch. The place was clean and the pictures online were a good representation. There were two negatives but not anything related to the place itself nor anything that they could have helped. Due to flooding damage the river trails were closed which was something we were looking forward to but it didn't take away from this property. There was also more street traffic at night than I would have expected but nothing that a sound machine couldn't drown out. That being said, check in and out was easy. The living space was plenty for 2 of us. The bed was comfortable. I would be aware of a step up and over the threshold and a step up/down in living area in case your are traveling and have mobility issues. Location is walking distance to downtown, restaurants and some stores. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days for our Honeymoon and it was lovely! The Tuck-Away was just as advertised and was super clean and comfy. It is located very close to a trailhead for the path by the river, and is close to the busy roads while still being out of the way and quiet. Everything was quiet and comfy, which is just what we wanted. We were surprised only once by voices through the wall, which we think was the cleaning crew in the attached Get-Away unit, but we were just caught off guard. The only issue we had was that the door lock didn't seem to like my wife. It worked just fine for me, but it gave her some difficulty when unlocking. :)

This wonderful cozy spot is filled with thoughtful touches and was a real joy, especially for the reasonable cost. Being right next to the river trail was even more of a perk than we realized, and we walked that trail daily. We walked to the main strip as well, visiting restaurants and shops and enjoying Kerrville more than we expected, honestly. The area has come a long way since the last time we visited, around 15 years ago. The patio area was also enjoyed daily. Our host, Keri, was responsive, helpful, and a true pleasure to work with. The only imperfection was we could hear our neighbors through the walls quite clearly; ideally the walls separating the units would be better insulated. But the stay was otherwise perfect. Thanks so much, Keri.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days for our Honeymoon and it was lovely! The Tuck-Away was just as advertised and was super clean and comfy. This wonderful cozy spot is filled with thoughtful touches and was a real joy, especially for the reasonable cost. Being right next to the river trail was even more of a perk than we realized, and we walked that trail daily. We walked to the main strip as well, visiting restaurants and shops and enjoying Kerrville more than we expected, honestly. The area has come a long way since the last time we visited, around 15 years ago. The patio area was also enjoyed daily. Our host, Keri, was responsive, helpful, and a true pleasure to work with. What a perfect place to spend the night before camp drop off. This was our second stay here, and we look forward to coming again. The bed and linens are very comfortable. The indoor and outdoor spaces are well designed. The property is very clean. The owner was very helpful answering questions about area restaurants prior to our trip.

I loved the backyard with picnic table, swing and outdoor shower. Bikes were available. We invited our sons to come over for pizza and Keri was flexible and allowed us to have guests. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was done clearly with the guest in mind from layout, recommendation and checkout lists to a courtesy bottle of wine and incredibly clear directions to property and parking to swing in the yard. Cozy and welcoming. Linens and pillows were awesome as was the bed. Location steps from Guadalupe River path, just lovely. We stayed for one night before picking our daughter up from camp, and it was the cutest place! I especially loved the location of the property and its close proximity to the river and numerous restaurants. We walked to dinner! The host was wonderful and so responsive as well. Cute little place that offers separate bedroom/ living room privacy, as opposed to a motel room. However, since it doesn't have cooking facilities, with all the fees and taxes, it's not a better value than a motel. What it does have is a nice little back yard area, bicycles (which we never used) and a comfortable living area. It is a nice little place to stay, with more room than a motel. Cons- could use a deep cleaning (fuzzy fan blades), back yard cleaned of leaves and the gate latch was broke so it wouldn't stay closed. The neighborhood to the south/west is sketchy too.

Great little place to stay! My sister and I spent 2 nights here. We just needed a place to sit and stitch! This was perfect. Comfortable living area with good lighting. Extras included a complimentary bottle of wine and an honor bar, stocked with soft drinks, water and booze. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The shower was large with classic black and white tile! Very clean! Decor was funky and we loved the red leather love seat! Highly recommend this VRBO. Also ate at the owner’s restaurant Grapejuice. Very good food and great service!

We loved our stay at the Tuck Away! Everything was just as it was described, very clean and lots of room! Beds are comfy and the bikes are a huge plus because we love the river bike trail! It’s also close to all the shops, restaurants and grocery store.

We had an amazing experience in the Tuck-Away over Memorial Day weekend. The unit was the perfect size for the two of us and our small terrier. We added our dog at the last minute and they had bowls and treats waiting for us when we arrived.The living room was very comfortable and included a smart TV where we could use our streaming accounts. Although the refrigerator was on the small side, overall the kitchen was a nice size, including a microwave and Keurig coffee maker, including a selection of HEB brand coffee. There was also an honor bar that provided popular Vodka, Gin, and Tequila brands, as well as some Texas beer and mixers.The bedroom was a very nice size with a comfortable bed and a nice armoire, including a couple of robes. The bathroom was also very nice with a large shower with a rainfall shower head.The yard was gravel, and included a picnic table and a nice seating area and a dart board. There were also three Townie bicycles for us to use. This was particularly nice since the unit was a block away from the Kerrville River Trail.Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We are frequent travelers to Kerrville and will definitely consider this unit (or other Well-Tended Life units) in the future.
