Desk clerk's English was spotty at best. I understood almost nothing she said. The elevator was broken. Parking was horrible. One of the etrances was chained off (presumably to prevent non guests from parking) making it very difficult to exit.

The stay was great. It was convenient to downtown Gatlinburg, everything in walking distance. Our room was on the end the hotel, accept for the main garbage dumpster on the side that had trash pickup in the middle of the night and it woke us and was loud. Street traffic noise was also an issue with a room closer to the road. Next time we stay will request on farther down or up a floor. Otherwise it was a great stay. Pools were clean and well maintained and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast gets a 3 1/2 star review!

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ONE THAN ONE VEHICLE! Expedia does not explain this on their “parking” for the property amenities. You are only allowed one vehicle per room. We had to find overnight parking for one vehicle which was much further down along a river on the side of the road. There was plenty of parking but the staff wouldn’t even let us keep it there and it was only for one night. I would have never booked this hotel had I known that was their policy up front. They tried to say that it was sent in an email, that I still have never seen. It should be stated up front when the reservation is made.

The elevator went out right after we went up to our room and was out both days we were there. The ac made noises. Most disappointing was the pool. The picture on the site is nothing like the actual thing. The pool is small and in the middle of the parking lot. Location is great though.

The pictures of this property are misleading as it appears to be a resort while it's a very old setting and there was a musty smell in the room and a mold in the bathroom. We checked in and stayed for only 2 hours before leaving and finding another hotel as a walk-in.

It was ok. Just ok. Room smelled like wet dog. Carpet was sopping wet in the room, near the bathroom wall (notified staff there’s an issue for sure). Breakfast area was warm and stuffy and most food was gone or picked over. No coffee. No milk. Remodel was done nicely and the place was decent overall, and fine for a night. Just a little on the dingy side.

Not quite what we expected from pictures. Pictures made hotel and property look great. But In real life it was not so great, older, run down. Wifi did not work from our room. Property was in close walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. The staff was nothing but nice at check in and check out. Do keep in mind, due to being close to main area it can be a little noisy at night. This wasn't an issue to us but for traveling families looking to sleep, it may be. The room was clean and exacgtly what was expected. We stayed in the loft option with a fireplace and jetted tub. The staff called prior to check in to ask if we would like the fireplace running upon arrival, which we thought was a nice gesture.

Other than a grumpy front desk guy, all the staff I met were friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was pretty good. It's right on the main Gatlinburg corridor, so the traffic was very loud. And it smelled like weed most of the time I went outside, although I can't hold that against the property. It was a good value for the price, so I'd probably stay here again.

⚠️ Summary: ROACHES ❌ Room smelled like poop — my kid literally walked around trying to find it 💩 ❌ AC didn’t work — room stayed at 76–78° all night ❌ Woke up to COCKROACHES ❌ Hotel only offered a partial refund ❌ I had to call the booking app per hotel even though I paid at check-in ❌No apology or contact from management ❌ We drove 11 hours to get there — left feeling gross and disappointed ✅ What could’ve been nice: Polite front desk staff Great location Large suite with full kitchen We were supposed to stay from July 14–17, but ended up checking out early on the 15th. When we first walked into the room, it smelled like poop — not just musty or stale, but like someone had gone to the bathroom and never cleaned up. My kids even searched the room looking for where it came from. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work. It was set low but never got below 76–78°, which was no fun. We tried to tough it out. But the next morning, we woke up to COCKROACHES on the walls. That was our breaking point. We packed up and left. The front desk person was nice, but the hotel only offered to refund 2 of our 3 nights. Told me I had to go thru booking app(which I never paid money through btw) No apology from management no call or email or anything. Would not recommend. Super disappointed.

The property you can tell is an older property but all the rooms are upgraded and HUGE! I’ve never stayed in a hotel room this big. Plenty of rooms for 2 beds and plenty of living area! It’s located at the end of the strip close to Hillbilly golf but a very short walk to all of Gatlinburg! The hotel has parking around the front of the rooms. An easy drive to Pigeon Forge from the hotel! Would 10/10 recommend!

The room was clean, the location is perfect because we didn’t have to pay for parking we were right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg which was exactly what I wanted. The cost was great and affordable. We walked to everywhere such as Anakeesta, Ripleys, all the attractions and restaurants are close to the hotel. The location is perfect!!!!!!!

Pros: downtown Gatlinburg is within walking distance. This was a plus since driving through downtown is bumper to bumper and parking in downtown is over $20. Getting to Pigeon Forge was an easy drive. The room was spacious. We selected a king room with fireplace which had a sofa bed too. Fireplace didn’t warm the room though. Refrigerator in room too. Check in staff polite. Con: free breakfast tasted gross. When we arrived at 9 there was no food. We had to find an employee to ask for food and it took 10 minutes to bring out. Dining room was filthy and no one around to clean up. We went out for breakfast every morning after. Also reception area smells heavily of marijuana. That’s because there’s a dispensary attached next to hotel reception .

Severely limited parking, room was clean upon entrance. TV was huge with a lot of channels but not enough sports channels as we were trying to to watch the SEC playoffs between our own games. It was suitable for our 2 night stay for tournaments at the Rocky Top Sports World and only 10 minutes away. Several places within distance and easy to walk downtown Gatlinburg without having to pay to park. The office is under construction so only a grab and go breakfast of danishes, fruit, or granola bars. Coffee was available in room or office. I would definitely stay again.
