The ONLY complaint we had was the pool was not heated. We booked this hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool. The water was extremely cold. My children could only play in the pool for a short while because their lips turned purple and they were shivering.

The room was very clean and spacious. I loved the room darkening shades. The complimentary breakfast was good but they need to provide salt & pepper. This hotel could use some more parking. I came in at 10:30 pm and could not find a spot to park. There were 3 open spots but inconsiderate people parked way over their lines and I could not fit my normal sized vehicle in the spot. Other than the parking, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The gentleman working in the breakfast area was delightful! The fan in the room started rattling at 3 am. I was able to turn it off but it did disturb my sleep. The front desk was apologetic at check out and made a note to get it repaired.

This place was super clean and the employees were very friendly. I arrived early and they accommodated my early arrival, no questions asked. Beds were comfy and breakfast was decent. My only complaint is the location. It wasn’t a convenient area or very nice. We had to be at the Classic Center and there are hotels that are more convenient for accessing the Classic Center. I wasn’t familiar with Athens and didn’t know.

This is a beautiful, clean property. My only complaint is the outside noise. High traffic area 24/7. We were on 2nd floor over looking parking lot & facing main high traffic road. Also near trash container & it was emptied about 5:00 am! If you stay on a higher floor, farthest away from these areas it might be better.

Air conditioning for the room did not work well. Bed was uncomfortable. Asked the front desk for coffee, I was told only available with machine in the room. The front desk at checkout was very courteous. The next morning breakfast made us sick and grounds were in the coffee.

The man at the front desk in the evening was very helpful. Easy check in and check out. Not sure why but my room was not cleaned by housekeeping during my stay (2 nights). This is a newer property with nice size room and it was quiet. Breakfast was ok and free.

We had a great stay for UGA orientation. The hotel and room was very clean. Ray is the sweetest kindest gentleman. We came down for breakfast late and made sure we had something to eat. The staff at the front test were very kind and helpful as well. Everything is VERY close to the hotel. Which made things very easy. My only regret I didn’t book sooner for “move in weekend” Definitely will be back Amanda D.

Hotel lost power at 1:30am: A/C turned off, things started beeping, phones didn’t work. Then we started hearing sirens. Do we need to evacuate? Is there a fire? Started hearing voices in the hallway. This has never happened before while in a hotel. Spoke to the staff the next morning. They told us “yup the power turned off” and “sorry for the inconvenience”. We were up for at least an hour trying to get back to sleep and worried. Doesn’t matter how it happened but the stay was awful and no real attempt by the staff to make it right. Place was already overpriced for what it was and this sealed the deal: we will not stay there again!

The fromt desk gentleman ((tallish African American man-i didn't get his name) and the gentleman who took care of getting breakfast out were some of the best I have come across! They were so helpful and bad such great interaction with all of us! Thank you!

This is probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Athen, Georgia. It was clean, had a great breakfast, and the rooms were nice with big bathrooms. The location is close to shopping and some good chain restaurants. Everyone likes to stay in the downtown area near the college but I will definitely consider this property next time.

This is a very nice place to stay. Worth the very small amount more than surrounding hotels. The breakfast was incredible. The people were nice and I had a really nice time visiting family there during Thanksgiving holidays. Don't hesitate to book this place.

The hotel is only around 3 years old so it';s like new. The breakfast was ok but not much variety. 2 waffle makers and some eggs and bacon. Nothing light like muffins or pastry. We flew in so didn't have a vehicle so can't comment on the parking
