We loved this hotel- so close to everything, the staff amazing and the housekeepers very responsive to all our needs. The rooftop garden amazing.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the size, cleanliness and overall appearance of our room and the building as well as the front desk lady. We were on the 9th floor which offered a balcony and access to the roof top lounge, all for a very reasonable price. If ever in Piraeus, we will definitely book our room at this location.

Very comfortable, spacious room. Super clean hotel. Loved the rooftop patio- the hotel has small bottles of wine, water and soft drinks for purchase along with snacks. Great to havea drink on the rooftop patio and watch the sunset. We were using te ferries to visit some island so this hotel was very convenient-a short walk to th ferries. Also 2 blocks from the metro that can take you all over athens. It is also a stop for the airport metro-an easy 50 minute ride for9 euros. Plenty of escalators and elevators to handle your luggage. Very nice cafes to have your breakfast or snack. Some decent restaurants for a simple lunch or dinner. Area is a port so of course is very commercial but it did not feel unsafe

Nice, modern and convenient hotel close to the harbour in Pireus. Easy walk to/from the metro and to the gates in Pireus. Beautiful rooftop space with tables and sofas.

Super clean hotel only few minutes walk from the Piraeus port. Great facilities and lovely rooftop views.

Fitness center was terrible, machines are old and some don’t work

Front desk staff was excellent and provided many helpful recommendations and directions. Hotel and room is immaculate, and the room was large and comfortable. The hotel is so conveniently located, close to the port, metro, restaurants and shops. The rooftop terrace has fantastic views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Close to good restaurants but area is sketchy. Not much of a "gym".

There was a wall outside our window. The rooftop area was very nice. Not much of a view there either. Nice coffee shops nearby with wonderful pastries.

I stayed here with my wife for 1x night as it was in a great location: within walking distance to Piraeus metro station, high-street restaurants and the nearby port for our ferry ride to Naxos in the Cyclades the following morning. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street so we weren’t disturbed by any external sounds at night. Our room was spacious and well-stocked with a large bed, big wardrobe, mini-fridge and roomy shower. The only thing that was a bit on the smaller side was the lift up to our room which was a bit tight and had a quirky design with a door we had to push once the lift alighted on our floor. The receptionist who greeted us upon our check-in was warm and friendly and kindly serviced our query for an iron and other miscellaneous questions so I was very pleased with the service here. If we were to come to Athens for a trip to the Cyclades again this hotel would most definitely be top of our list of places to stay.

Clean rooms and very helpful staff

We had a suite with separate bedroom and it was absolutely lovely. Very clean. Checking in was a breeze, and the staff were very pleasant and spoke English incredibly well.

All the good comments must be some kind of a scam. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard as a brick so it was like sleeping on the floor. The room we had was at street level, it was very noisy and the blinds didnt cover the windows fully. There was nowhere to hang the showerhead and it was also broken so water went everywhere.

The hotel seemed modern but there were housekeeping issues and staff could hace been better when we got to our room, there were obvious stai s on the ved covering. When we asked the front desk to fix tbis, they didnt apologize but had us leave our roo key so it could be changed. When we returned 4 hours later, they handed me another cover and i had to go and handle tbe dirty one. I am not sire why they even had me leave my key?! In addition, there was a dirty drinking glass left on the table and we were nissing a clean o e in our pair the ashtray was also full a d we do not smoke so i fou d that to be gross. In the shower, i fou d a used shampoo bottle. There was an overall lack of attentiin to houskeeping here. There were also some condition issues in the room with paint peeling on a window sill. The roo had a kitchenette witg a stovetop, but absolutely no utensils or pots, dishes, cutlery, etc so that would be co pletely useless if you had planned to use that amenity. We paid extra for the panoramic view room and you should be aware that you cant actually see the ocean. There is q city view but its just buildings. We checked in on a sunday afternoon and almost nothing around the hotel was open so we did have to take the metro to access dining and shopping options. Wheb we checked in staff gave every other couple free bottled water. When i went back down to get ours, they insisted i had to pay for it. Overall, i would recommend that you skip this hotel. Poor experience.

Busy, portside area. We did not expect the neighborhood to be upkept; lots of construction, but we came only for the night prior to a ferry ride, as we guess many folks do. The Gallery staff was EXCELLENT, made us feel welcome from start to finish. The room was clean and beds so comfortable. Bathroom spacious and immaculate. Great value.

We loved our stay at Gallery Suites and Residences. The staff was so friendly and helpful (and spoke English well). The lobby was bright and clean. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to stay near the port

Gallery Suites & Residences in Piraeus is in a perfect spot for boarding a ship. There are numerous cafés and bistros in the area and it is just a minutes walk to the convenient Metro to Athens. The property itself is modern and clean with a very helpful and friendly staff. However, our shower leaked through the floor tiles to the main bathroom, the single towel ring was practically falling off the wall, and the shower head would not stay on place. The bath towels are very worn and could be refreshed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and there is very generous storage space. It would be nice if the rooms were supplied with tissue (not only toilet tissue).

Mooi hotel. Alles zag er goed en netjes uit. Kregen zelfs een flesje water bij aankomst. Alleen het bed was echt keihard, kussen ook. Douchekop had geen standaard om in te hangen. Dus je moest met 1 hand de douchekop vasthouden. Maar voor een nachtje echt prima te doen.

Renovated hotel property in convenient location. We were able to find parking on the street on Sunday evening as the paid parking lot nearby was closed. Everything went well with check-in. The entire staff was excellent and accommodating to our needs. The bathroom layout in our room was a bit unusual with the toilet in a small space in front of the shower so if you had long legs, you had to basically use the toilet from the side. Although the shower was new and had doors, the water still leaked out all over the floor of the bathroom, but that seems to be common in Greece. There was a small kitchenette in our room, but there was nothing to cook with nor any plates, utensils, etc. Overall, the convenient location and modern hotel suited our needs.

Can’t believe it had this high of a rating. Terrible stay. They do NOT let you control the temperature the air conditioner! Was set at 25 C (around 78 f and it was 100 outside at the time) and I had to go down to the front desk to plead with them to turn it down. Only wanted to 23 c but went down again to get them to go to 22 c. Would have like at least 20 c. Horrible bed. Loud crashing/metal scraping noises all night long, at least till 4am. Told the front desk but he said he thought it was construction?!? At that time of thr night? Window without screen on it was left open before we arrived. Bugs were flying around in the room when we got there. Only positive is that I was given a good suggestion for food around the corner. Really bad stay. Pictures look nice but don’t be fooled.

Room was ok, bed was terrible, like sleeping on a piece of plywood. 13eu for a box breakfast, we could have had the buffet across at sister hotel for same, was not given that option.

The rooms are not well soundproofed; you can hear everything happening in the corridors, and there was a singer playing music outside somewhere every evening, which could be heard very clearly from the room, requiring us to close the window. Additionally, there is a drain in the bathroom that has a really unpleasant smell.

The bedside lamps did not work, there was no hooks, towel racks or place in the bathroom to hang wet towels or things.. The glass shower wall was to small allowing water from each person’s showers out onto the bathroom floor. Had to clean up water each time. Shower head was not in normal location. Hall noise filters through the room. It just seemed like the room was not completed thoroughly during construction. Location of hotel was close to metro. Lobby was very nice. Close to cruise port.

The room itself was a good size, bathroom was great (shower could do with being a tad hotter) but the noise between rooms is quite loud. We had the joys of someone singing along to their phone past midnight, we spoke to reception who said they would investigate but definitely didn’t. We got some ear plugs to help in the end. In general it’s quite noisy through the corridors as hard floors and a small elevator so people talking in hallways is quite loud. Perfect location (we picked up a cruise from here) close to great restaurants and good shops. Shame about the noise but I’d probably still recommend it, just take ear plugs!

Roomy and clean room. Ideal location for walking distance of the port. Facilities seem very nice. Not the best soundproofing though.

Be careful not to be pushed to stay in their opposite new building (under a different name) claiming that this is an “upgrade” and the hotel is full. I rejected the upgrade offer and was forced to wait idle for 10 minutes until the “manager” comes, then when nobody showed up I was suddenly given a room! The hotel is clean and easy to use.

The property itself presents beautifully. The metro station is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also, very close to tram station to travel to southern beaches. The area the hotel is located is slightly unappealing, but we never felt unsafe. Our main complaint is concerning the staff and property amenities. As other reviewers have noted, the staff will inform you that your room was upgraded to the hotel across the street. We declined this option. We spoke to other travelers who accepted the offer and they were extremely unhappy with their choice citing they had no air conditioning and no access to roof top deck. This practice seems extremely unethical and should be discontinued immediately. The air conditioning in our room is controlled by the front desk. The room temperature is set at 24C (76F), which is not comfortable after spending the day in the afternoon heat. We asked on 3 different days to lower the room temperature, and the front desk obliged only once. I would rather paid more money to this hotel during reservation than be misled that this hotel has air conditioning. At times, the hallways would be noisy with children running up the stairs at 2am. Personally, even though the hotel is convenient to all major locations around the city, I would not recommend staying at Gallery Residencies and Suites.

The staff were very welcoming on arrival, giving us some cold water. Check in was easy and they were very helpful, giving us a map of the area and booking a free transfer to the port for us. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge which was great. This was our third visit, would definitely visit again.

The staff was friendly and allowed us to check in at 12 when a room became available.

Bad experience for this stay . When we check- in at the hotel's receptionist, they said our booked room not available ( there was an issue with the room ). They moved us to the other low rate hotel .

A lovely little hotel with 24-hr friendly front desk staff who spoke English very well, and were very helpful with orientation of the area! I highly recommend this place, and would be happy to stay here again!

When I booked this hotel my reservation was in the existing facility not the one across the street. I booked my room before the facility across the street existed. They brought us over to the other facility and gave us a room I did not book. I insisted on the room I booked so they finally gave it to me but it looked nothing like the photos on Expedia website. Will never use this hotel again.

Clean room and great if you’re staying in port for one night. The area has a LOT of homeless people and is very dirty. Which is understandable for a port city but it was pretty bad this visit. But the hotel itself was great and just what we needed to catch our ferry

The hotel per se is good, the surroundings are really dirty, scary at night. The room was okay as well, personnel was fantastic.

The hotel itself was great apart from not having restaurant facilities. Very clean and spacious. Great shower. Lovely rooftop terrace. The area is typical of any industrial port. Very noisy, lots of traffic and large numbers of homeless people. Not somewhere I would walk around at night. For an overnight before a ferry or cruise it is ideal. While the ferry is an easy walk, the cruise Terminal C where we picked up our ship is much further. Around Eu8. All in all I would use again for another cruise.

Gallery Suites has a fantastic location close to the ferry terminal, cruise port and all public transportation. My room was clean and comfortable. When I had an issue with my air conditioner, I spoke to the front desk attendant and when I returned to my room later it was fixed. The immediate area around the hotel is a bit run down (it is a port city) however, I am a single female and did not feel unsafe at any time

It was very noisy, especially at night. The bathroom drains smelt bad. There were small hairs around the sink and dust motes around the hotel. We were misinformed about breakfast and nearly missed the poor offering on the first morning and then we were given an awful breakfast box (dry sandwich, melba toast, cake slice, boiled egg, orange juice carton) on the second day which I couldn’t eat due to being GF. My husband also found it inedible. Coffee was terrible and not even water offered at breakfast. Wish we hadn’t bothered paying for breakfast and bought earplugs instead! On the plus side, the location for the metro and ferry was good and the roof garden was nice when it wasn’t raining. Staff were pleasant despite the misinformation.

The staff was very helpful in providing us with information and arranging transportation. The breakfast was amazing and the location was great. Will definitely recommend.

Stayed here as we were leaving on a cruise the following day. You need to catch a taxi as it is too far to walk with bags. Property was good however breakfast provided was poor. Don’t waste your money including breakfast in your stay

This is a beautifully designed and maintained property with helpful staff members. It's near the cruise port so a good place if you are boarding a ship. The room was lovely with a small but nice balcony. A generous cold breakfast is served in your room. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone boarding a cruise from Athens.

I wish it was advertised that there is no restaurant. Arrived on a Sunday. Breakfast Box inedible and coffee was disgusting. No milk no butter. Never again.

It would be great if the rooftop had breakfast facilities rather than a takeaway bag being sent.

This is the perfect hotel for a short stay before getting on a ferry to the islands. The staff is warm and helpful, the rooms are appointed nicely, it's clean, the air con worked well, and best of all (by luck) it was a 2 block walk to the gate of the port we needed! The metro stop is very close as well, convenient for getting to the city center.. We had a very early departure, and the staff made us a lovely and plentiful breakfast box to go. I would absolutely stay there again!
