We enjoyed our stay at Heritage House. The staff was nice and the location was great! Access to the Comfort Inn's pools was a really nice surprise. The breakfast was pretty average. The rooms were clean, furniture a bit beat up, walls freshly painted. Our door was very hard to open and close (room 616 - in case the hotel is reviewing this). Bring some soap and shampoo/conditioner. We would stay again. The price was excellent.

Location, & Carla @ front desk wonderful. There was a bit of odor from work going on. The ice machine was a bit loud & usage from guests. I always like a quiet room.

You check in at the adjacent Comfort Inn, all inquiries are handled by their front desk, yet your stay doesn’t include the pool or breakfast. Not sure the logic behind that. The outside door says key card required for entry, yet it was unlocked the entire stay, which takes away from safety. Front desk staff needs a refresh in courtesy. One of the beds had stains that were easily visible, (I have photos) and investing in good quality mattresses would be ideal. Would not recommend Heritage House.

I have been at this property many times they have made some improvement but sadly I couldn’t use the indoor or outdoor pool because was dirty and the water on the indoor pool was very cold, never mind the outdoor pool they need to do a better maintenance but everything else was great no issues

The room was nice and clean, which we appreciated. However, the TV didn’t work, and both the indoor and outdoor pools were uncomfortably cold—so much so that not only we, but several other families, chose not to use them. Overall, it felt like the hotel was just a decent place to sleep, but unfortunately not much more than that.

I would def stay in this property again. It’s close to the harbor and restaurants and walkable to shopping plus has an indoor pool, lots of parking and very affordable.

Although this is a relatively new hotel, the rooms had a strong paint smell. Breakfast was served at a nearby Comfort Inn, but it was always crowded with very limited options. The indoor swimming pool was unbearable and appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.Overall, had a pleasant stay.

Location was on a side street that wasn’t well lit at night. Can walk to ferry. Walk to beach was far but there is a shuttle. Breakfast was ok. Hotel looked to be under construction in certain areas. Hallways were not welcoming. Need some decor and better paint job. Air conditioning was fine but smelled.

Restorative work being done & lobby fumes were very strong. Also a rug in the bathroom would help feet stay warm

The property is not new and is showing some wear. If you are staying on the lower floor they seem to have a moisture problem and the rooms are very damp. Other than that, everything was good.

The entire building reeked of mold , I have even notified the health department who are currently doing an investigation. My travel companions were able to transfer to the Nextdoor Comfort Inn and paid an additional $157 so they and their belongings did not reek of mold. There was not an additional room available to me & I did not realize how severe the IAQ really was in my room. Now I know as I fumigate everything that entered that room . Unfortunately, the hotel refuses to make any adjustments . But I’m disputing my room charge and hope I don’t get sick. Clean, well appointed , good breakfast and contaminated with mold. You’ve been warned!

The room had a strong smell of mold and humidity, we had to wash piur clothes twice to get rid of the smell.

First room in building 600 had smell of mold and water was coming out of light on the wall. Went to front desk and they moved us to another room in building 500 - looked better but as we went through the door someone’s stuff was in the room. Went back to front desk and they gave us another room in building 500. It was ok but I wouldn’t stay there again and certainly wouldn’t stay in 600 building

The beds had food crumbs and black hair in them. Asked them to change the beds and they helped us change the sheets and put the same dirty blankets back in the bed. There was black curly hair all over the floor, the towels were all stained and the towel rack was dismantled and hanging from the wall. Staff was nice and kind.

It's an old property that has been cleaned up with new paint, flooring, bedding. It's clean and has everything you need for a nights sleep. It's not my definition of an "Inn". The front desk people, which happens to be at the Comfort Inn, are very nice and helpful. The Comfort Inn seems a little "seedy" with people "hanging around". Not very upscale. The harbor is a short walk, and it's conveniently located. It's not a place to go if you plan on spending time at the room, but fine for sleeping.

This place was revolting. Black mold in the bathroom. Trash behind the nightstand. My kid took a shower and his bare feet were black just walking from the shower to the bed so who knows when it was last cleaned. The furniture was all shattered or scratched. The TV didn’t work. The beside lamp switch was up so high, you had to nearly get out of bed to turn it off, and the place was insanely dim to begin with. No view but of trash and the broken window. The toilet seat was loose. And the entire place smelled something awful. Had to keep the AC blasting to pretend it was fresh air - which also sucked because there was no extra blankets and an extremely thin comforter on the beds. The beds were the worst part. It was like sleeping on the floor. The pools were just grimy. What a horrible horrible place.

Very much worth the price! Good size rooms, nice bath, very clean, 4 pillows not just 3 per bed! More USB port would be nice, but there's ample number of standard outlets. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

It was an okay stay. Rooms were clean for the most part, belongings from previous occupants were left in the room (a hat and a shirt). There was no place to put suitcases as well as no place to hang clothes (no closet or bar/hangers). Bathroom was missing a vent and created condensation throughout the room as well as a hole in the wall above the bathroom mirror where a vent may have belonged. Pool and breakfast accommodation was nice, clean, and staff was friendly. Works as a quick place to spend 1 or 2 nights, but attention to detail would have gone a long way.

I was called before I arrived and told to check in at a Comfort Inn. When I checked in they couldn’t find my reservation because it wasn’t for the Comfort Inn, it was for the Heritage Inn. They finally found it. Place looks like it’s in a constant state of (very cheap) repair. There were no rugs in our building, and the walls are paper thin; so you hear absolutely everything going on around you. The remote for the TV didn’t work, there was no closet, the toilet needed repair when we first came in, and the lights are too few, or too dim- my wife said it was like doing her makeup in the dark. The “breakfast” was horrible; Cardboard muffins, Luke-warm water for tea. The shower was nice

For 4 years running Heritage House has provided lodging for the family fishing trip! I do like the remodeled bathrooms and kitchenette added to the rooms. Also the ice machines are perfect for keeping our drinks and catch cold! If you're looking for Cape Cod views or immaculate rooms this isn't the place for you. However if you want a friendly staff and a good value this is the perfect place! A great central location in Hyannis, close to the harbor and downtown!

Very clean and new renovation. Staying nearby in Hyannis for work. Very comfortable / modern efficiencies.

Hotel management is untrustworthy. They charged us twice for staying in their hotel.

At first all was well, the room was clean and well prepped, cleaning some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The day before checkout I noticed things missing from my room and the desk staff and clean staff on duty seemed willing to help and check cameras until the manager came and they could no longer help me. No cameras were checked, no report was made, and I was dismissed. The manager told me his staff all worked there 6 plus years and the one that worked my room told him she didn’t take anything and her word was taken. I took a loss of over $350!!

front desk clerk was welcoming, efficient, and friendly, as was the housekeeper, a genuinely friendly and nice man. Your staff is excellent!

We were told since the first day that the cleaning consists of : cleaning the bathroom, doing the beds and vacuuming the floor. Nothing was done but the beds. We complained three times and the first time was said to me that it wasn’t okay and they will notify the cleaning lady. But nothing was done that day either. The other complaints we were laughed at and not taken seriously. They were arrogant and didn’t want to do anything and would tell all the time the manager is not here but will be notified. They never notify their manager and I never received his call. They were gaslighting me and laughing at our faces and told me that they didn’t have the time for this. It was simply disgraceful. We will never go back there for the horrible customer service. I have never felt humiliated like this in a foreign country before.

She checked us in and gave us our room key when we get to the Heritage Inn the room we were checked into was not clean, went back to Comfort Inn and advised front desk staff of this and she then booked us another room, went back to heritage inn and that room too was not clean. Returned to Confort Inn and advised the front desk staff of the room not being clean and she then booked us in a room at the comfort inn where we stayed the night. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The room did not have a light upon entering the room. The light switch didn’t work or there was no light at the entrance of the room like most rooms have. Everything was clean. The Inn is walking distance from restaurants and stores to shop. It was a nice stroll. The Books & Roses coffee shop so cute & really good coffee and natural juices… I don’t think I will book with them again though. We traveled and I was tired and all the back and forth until we actually hit into a clean room was just a bit much. The free breakfast was good enough. I rate the Comfort Inn 4/5, The Heritage in 2/5 and the entire experience 1/5…

There was no one in office and there was no sign any where for check in . We kept on running around to find front desk and we were going and out from property around 8 pm like chicken without head . Finally in the end we went into confirt inn ( next property) and they checked us in. Otherwise this property was abandoned , room wasn’t bad but I am not happy and no one informed us before that we have to check in with Comfort Inn .

Comfort Inn graciously allowed us to use their outdoor swimming pool and enjoy a complementary breakfast the next morning. Mr. Miller the desk manager was polite and did a beautiful job making sure the food available at the breakfast was top-notch. I cannot complement him enough.

Close to Main st and attractions

This was a perfect place to stay! Close to restaurants, beaches, and the bus terminal. I was amazed at how nice the property was considering how reasonable the cost!!

Great location! 10 minute walk to the island ferries & a variety of good restaurants within walking distance. Felt very safe & the staff was pleasant and polite. Great value for the price of the room. Our only issue was that the doors were sticky & difficult to open.

It is not easy to find when first driving there. The sign is not visible from the street. It is tucked in beside the Comfort Inn. Get to breakfast early, they ran out of all food before 9:30 even though breakfast goes until 10.

For the price you have a nice experience. In the middle of cape cod, lots of malls. Water side is minutes away! Good service and breakfast was always different everyday.

I stayed on the Nauset and it was a very clean nice area. The staff was as very friendly and attentive. A shout out to Edwin thats works in the kitchen lounge. He made sure to ensure we were content. Breakfast was delicious, from eggs, sausages, belgium waffles, bread etcc. Walking distance to shops, museums, restaurants.
