Hilton Garden Inn Houston Medical Center, TX

I really appreciated that the hotel provided shuttle service to the medical centers. All of the staff were very polite, and the shuttle bus driver was prompt, responsive, and extremely helpful.

The parking was subpar. My partner is handicapped and there was not a single space by 7pm. Either more solve is needed or those using the spaces need to be monitored. And $15 a night for parking is outrageous!

It was a great hotel, clean, pretty, nice amenities, staff were all awesome! We were a little disappointed about the pool. We got there too late to use it, which is fine, we were told it was being cleaned & would be ready in the morning. When we were leaving the next morning, we walked by it & it was murky & green. So, again, we weren’t counting on using it, but we do often book hotels hoping for a nice pool, so it’s worth mentioning they’re not keeping this one up. Super nice, clean, enjoyable everything else, though!

Property is great, paying for parking not so good. Where are you going to park if you are not staying here?

My husband had surgery at the medical center. I really appreciated the free shuttle service and the drivers were so accommodating and friendly. The entire hotel staff are exceptional.

If you are going to NRG Stadium for Livestock show or Rodeo, I Highly recommend stay at this Hotel, You can park your vehicle in a secure garage and leave it there. They have shuttle’s that come every 20 mins to take you to and from the stadium. Well worth every penny!!!

Close to the Museum district, parking right next door. Great breakfast and bar in the hitel.

Great stay. We had to call on 3 different occasions for towels, but finally received them. Very clean and comfortable. The pool was murky and green, so we decided not to swim. Overall, good stay. Would stay again!

We had stayed on 10th floor and 6th floor and the rooms were immaculate. This stay we were on the 9th floor. There was a small roach on the counter and the bathroom, entrance, and closet floors were not near as clean as the other two floors. It wasn’t terrible but I will definitely request the 10th or 6th floors on our next stay.

The room was exceptionally clean and pleasant, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with ample lighting. Upon check-in, the front desk staff kindly offered us two bottles of water, which was greatly appreciated after our long road trip. We were fortunate to have a room on the 10th floor, and the view was wonderful.

The rooms are always super elean.. the staff is friendly and very professional. The location is optimal.

Pleasant stay. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel and room were clean for the most part, though whoever cleaned my bathroom was a bit sloppy. There were a few hairs (either from a previous guest or the cleaning staff) that were on the walls of the shower and on one of the clean towels. Not something I wanted to see. The smoke detector also emitted a flashing light timed at a regular interval. You don't notice it during the day or at night when the lights are on, but you'd definitely notice when all the lights are off and you're trying to go to sleep. You can request that the hotel do something to block out the flashing light. You can also request that the bathroom be cleaned to your satisfaction. I didn't like the idea of waiting around for the hotel staff to show up or having them come into my room when I wasn't there. So I didn't make either request. The food in the lobby restaurant is okay--nothing to write home about--but it's convenient to have a restaurant downstairs when you don't have time to leave the premises. Location is convenient, though be careful about taking a stroll nearby. Some areas are nice but if you walk in the wrong direction, you'll sense a change in the neighborhood right away. Check with the front desk first if you'd like to explore on foot. Front desk was very helpful. So I quite appreciated that.

Check in was okay. Clerk kind of rude and dismissive. Hotel room restroom needed to be cleaned better. There was still hair in the shower. Bed was hard and uneven. Liked the parking garage and security settings.

Hotel is very large. The room was comfortable but the bed pillows were the worst to sleep on. They are a large square, very uncomfortable to sleep on. Not necessarily close to museums. There are better choices if you want to stay in that area. Staff was very nice

Room was nice and spacious. Room was very clean and had all the amenities. I forgot my blow dryer and the room had one saving the day. Absolutely love this hotel. We stay here when we come to houston for my eye dr appointments.

This hotel was newer and very clean. It was also a great location at the Medical Center area of Houston. Only thing I didn’t like was that there was every few minutes what sounded like the moving of a heavy metal door. I was on the second floor at the end so not sure what that was.

Very clean, comfortable bed, king jr suite. Only odd thing is the barn door on the bathroom does not block much sound and there is also no exhaust fan to help remove steam or anything else. Friendly staff at check in, convenient shuttle to hospital appointments also clean and safe.

I liked that my room had separate bedroom and TV areas, with a real desk too!

The bed was comfortable and the room was well furnished and very clean.

The building was very clean and modern. The rooms, furniture and the fixtures all seem up to date. The room was very spacious and had good lighting as well. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

The alert system unit was right over the bed and made sleeping difficult. It’s blinking light was very bringht shining down on the sleeper.

Spectacular breakfast Buffett value at $10 per person. Nice building and room. Mostly polite staff. Check-in bungled by saying they didn’t have our name with reservation even with IDs. Insisted I investigate with hotels dot com. Then after I insisted again he laughed and said he got the name wrong. Disappointingly unprofessional. The other person at reception was helpful and got us checked in.

Our room had a very large flat screen tv but it wouldn't stay set to the correct input. We called the front desk and a young woman from the reception desk came to the room within minutes and tried, unsuccessfully, to fix the problem. She promptly waived our parking fee and moved us to another room. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

On May 10, we checked in at 2:35pm, one receptionist (Miss. G) told me you should check in at 3 o'clock. We waited until 3 o'clock to check in, and she said you need to wait another 30 minutes because the room had not been cleaned yet. I saw that the guests in another line had checked in, so I changed to another line and quickly completed the formalities and entered the room at 3:06pm. I was surprised why she made it so difficult for us. The purpose of sending you a letter is to reveal this secret. This is my second time staying in your hotel. Because my child goes to school at Rice, we come to Houston every month. We have stayed in many nearby hotels. This is the first time I have been treated differently! Very strange? Why did she?! God Blessings you!

One staff member on the lobby didn’t bother to go check for arriving packages from Amazon ans she just would say that nothing had arrived for three days until Taylor went and got it for me. Thanks Tailor and Veronica 🙏

Check in was great. It was raining. My only problem with our stay was when I went down to the front desk to ask the receptionist to have my sheets changed, she simply said “my room wasn’t on the list”. She said “I can try to add you to the list”. I don’t wanna be that person but for $800, for 2 nights. I expected a different response. I don’t know.. I’ll most likely never stay here again. And I’ll spend the extra $$ to stay somewhere, where the focus is on the customer.

Nice dog area. Wish it would’ve been fenced in but nice. Overall property was great it did take forever to get enough towels and wash cloths had to ask 3 times and go to front desk and still wait about 4 hours for them.

Staff was very nice and answered any questions I had regarding our stay. The hotel was very clean and food was amazing. The location is very quiet and safe. It’s also not too far from Hobby Airport, so that was a plus as well. I will definitely stay here again!

for the rates i prefer less people hanging around outside smoking. i smelled weed too. everyone was fine but i just expect more for nearly $200 a night

The hotel room was very clean and staff very friendly however the restaurant was awful! While watching the Thursday night football game I ordered chicken wings, they were overpriced, looked to be a store brand cooked from frozen and covered in hot sauce, plated with a couple of limp celery and carrot sticks. I witnessed a bartender break a glass in the glass cooler and rather than her emptying the cooler and cleaning it to be safe she picked up the visible glass shards and continued to fill it up with new clean glasses. My recommendation would be to order out for food..

The hotel was very clean, and the bed and pillows were nice. Breakfast was a separate charge, but it was a buffet for $10.It was a pretty good meal. The only regret was that the fruit juices are not real ones.

We had appointments at MD Anderson and this hotel was perfect for our stay. They worked with us on our accommodations and we really liked the restaurant on the premises. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. It’s very close to the hospital and made for a comfortable stay while receiving treatment. Highly recommend!

The prices were way too expensive. Honestly twenty four dollars for a burger? For the room, we didn't even have a blow dryer. And their version of a door for the bathroom is a sliding right piece of wood that didn't even stay closed. The breakfast this morning was abysmal, cold eggs, disgusting sausage and watery oatmeal. I definitely will not be coming back here.

The only restaurant on this property was closed during the day. It had a limited selection on its menu and was very expensive. A piece of cheesecake was $18!

Property charges $15 per day for parking which was not disclosed. Buffet breakfast was encouraged and implied as included in rental. It was not $10 for overcooked eggs.

Nice property, clean and staff was friendly. Good Breakfast for the price - and they make the food, not pre made boxed.
