The room was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean, very well appointed - tea makings, a nice en suite and plenty of wardrobe space, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Even though it's located in the heart of the city, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended

Slight delay at check in but we were 10 mins before the check in time of 2pm. Nice room on the first floor, small but well furnished and comfy bed with a rainfall shower in the bathroom. Breakfast very good, hotel is very well placed for city centre attractions and the pub downstairs serves a nice pint of Cruzcampo!

Great location for visiting the centre or Manchester. Arrived during busy time in the Pub, so had to go to go to the bar to find someone to check us in - but apart from that no issues at all. Room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Good breakfast available in the Pub with friendly staff.

Our second stay here. Fantastic location … literally minutes away from all Manchester has to offer. Very busy bar area for all ages but doesn’t disturb you at night. Absolutely can’t rate the staff highly enough … an absolute credit to the management. One downside this stay was the fact that the bath panel was completely cracked. Looked awful and the only reason I marked it a 4 rather than a 5

Stayed at this hotel as we had a gig at the AO Arena and it exceeded our expectations! The room was nicely decorated, clean, small but perfect for 2 people for one night. The cold A/C was perfect as we were lucky enough to catch Manchester on a very warm weekend. The staff were very friendly and suggested local things to do, and were able to store our bags on our check out day so we could wander around freely. The hotel is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk to the arena, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. We would definitely choose this hotel again!

Staff were all excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken and the room was 27 c. Two staff members did try to rectify to no avail (windows are locked so no air at all). Location perfect for city centre. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Able Heywood I’d say 6+ years ago and decided to stay again as I found a good deal on a 1 night stay. A great location and everything you need in the room. AC unit meant it was also comfortable warmth wise which a lot of places don’t have in a rooms. Staff friendly and did everything to make our stay a good one.

Fantastic customer service. We had an issue with the lighting which was to no fault of the hotel. They couldnt have been more helpful and offered a free meal and drinks to compensate. We felt welcome and enjoyed the location to the arena and city centre. Would 100% recommend. Thank you, we hope to spend time there again in the future

Had a lovely 2 night stay for my birthday. Room was clean and no noise from the street. Check in and check out was smooth with friendly, knowledgeable team. We had one evening meal and one breakfast, both were tasty. I had the chicken burger and my partner had the gammon. Would definitely recommend to friends or family staying in Manchester.

Really lovely stay, staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Room was ideal and comfy and clean had everything we needed. We ate and drank in the pub, reasonably priced and very good. There was a live singer the atmosphere was great. Breakfast was lovely too. Id definately recommend and would stay again.
